This is my 2nd time at Texas Roadhouse and I love their service, food, and atmosphere. The wait times aren't too crazy despite coming on a Saturday night. I've been dying to try their prime rib but however the two times I've been here they're unavailable.

Steak fries came out later, as fries were running behind tonight.

You get a great value for your money at Texas Roadhouse. The food is delicious and fresh. I don't eat steak and my husband typically prefers to grill his own, but he says the steaks here are cooked perfectly. I eat seafood and liked both the fried catfish and the grilled shrimp. The tartar sauce for the fried catfish is different, with a mustard flavor, and all of the salad dressings are signature to Texas Roadhouse as well. Your meal starts with yeast rolls and cinnamon butter- you won't be able to resist them, and you shouldn't, but do stop at 1-2 so you can still enjoy your meal when it arrives. You can see the rolls being made when you enter the restaurant, which is a nice touch. The atmosphere is super casual, and I like that. At fancy steakhouses, the wait staff watches you like a hawk and can be overbearing, but not here. They keep your drinks filled and work super hard, but aren't pretentious. You don't have to dress up unless you want to, and it works for a dinner after a day of shopping in North Charleston. The bar has cocktails and NA mocktails and is inexpensive- less than $10 for a drink. The only negative for Texas Roadhouse is that the Charleston area only has this one. I wish Texas Roadhouse corporate would read this and put a location in West Ashley or Mt. Pleasant. I recommend joining the online waitlist on your way to the restaurant or coming right when they open for dinner so you don't have to wait as long.

Lauren at the bar was patient and cheerful! She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. My ribeye was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Baked potato was perfectly salty, loaded with savory goodness. Broccoli was steamed perfectly.

Walking in there was only one party in front so it was a quick wait for a table. A lot of energy throughout the restaurant. Dim lighting, televisions around the bar area for customers. The steaks were cooked to our preference. Accessible restaurants in the back of the restaurant. Easy to navigate through.

We called ahead and only had to wait 10 minutes when arrived. Our waitress was nice, she was training another waitress. The mixup started with the salad. My son ordered a house salad with Cesar dressing and ended up with a Cesar salad. My husband and my steaks were also swapped on the wrong plates. My son's ribs were dry and burnt. We had to send them back. The second rack brought by the manager was much better. This whole experience ended up taking 2 hours total, way longer than expected for a lunch for 3 people.

Dinner tonight for 2! Busy at 730 on a Wednesday night but the wait wasn't long at all for just us. My daughter loves the rolls & butter at this franchise so please don't ever change it. Our waitress was great! I didn't catch her name but she was on point with bringing out extra rolls, clearing plates and having full drinks before we even were empty on the first ones. Our food was fresh & prompt. Of course we love the rolls, but the Mozzarella Twists and Cesar Salads were also good. She got corn & a 6 Oz sirloin steak which were good. I got Fillet Medallions that came on a bed of rice and green beans. The medallions were flavorful but kinda chewy. The rice & green beans were good. She and I both agreed that The Texas Roadhouse steak sauce is too sweet though. A1 or Heinz 57 is preferred over the Roadhouse sauce. All in all our dinner was good, no real complaints. The restaurant itself is a typical fast paced franchise. Its a little dirty and the floors always feel slippery but it's not bad for an occasional quick week day dinner. The service we got & the food makes it 4 stars for us.

My husband and I visited Texas Roadhouse for our anniversary dinner. My guy was craving a delicious steak. There was plenty of parking. You may want to get there early or add wait time to your schedule because this place was very busy. Luckily we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. In the waiting area they have bags of peanuts in the shell that you can enjoy while looking at the delicious cuts of meat in the glass case. Our server Dylan was awesome. We told him that we were very hungry so we ordered right away and he quickly brought out our drinks and dinner rolls. He also told us that he put a rush on our food order and that also came out quickly! The rolls were freshly baked and delicious. I love the cinnamon butter! I ordered the Portobello mushroom chicken with steak fries and a salad. The chicken was very tender with cheese, brown gravy and thick slices of Portobello mushrooms. Very good! The steak fries were golden and delicious. The salad was very fresh with sliced eggs, tomatoes and mixed greens. The honey mustard dressing tasted freshly made. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The manager stopped by to check on us. Highly recommend.

Had an early Anniversary dinner with my wife of 40 years at Texas Roadhouse in North Charleston. We arrived and the restaurant was nearly full but we got seated in about 15 minutes. We told our server, Dillon that we were starving and could he put a rush on our meals. He did just that, within 15 minutes we were served. Friendly young man that provided us with great service. I had the 14 ounce ribeye, baked loaded potato and a mixed green salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. No steak sauce needed. It's sometimes hard to find a good steak but I was very satisfied with this steak. Good meal at a very reasonable price. Thumbs up to Dillon and the Texas Roadhouse!

Terrible service food had to be sent back waitress was not friendly food still came back WRONG this is why it's so crazy that waitresses don't write things down they cannot remember the simplistic of request and really you have the cooks bring out food to make the meal worse because all they delver is attitude my option skip then and go to long horn better food better service

I'm pleasantly surprised! I'm in town visiting family in Goose Creek. When we go out to eat we usually go to nearby areas, like North Charleston, Mt Pleasant, downtown or Summerville. I haven't tried Texas Roadhouse. I guess I kind of thought it was like a Golden Corral and that's not my jam. But this was more like the way Outback or Western Sizzler were back in the day. My mom and I both got a small sirloin, I got medium rare and my mom got medium well. Both were cooked perfectly. She got a baked sweet potato with just butter and the steamed vegetables (broccoli and carrots). I got a baked potato and green beans. They also give you yeast rolls with cinnamon butter. I enjoyed everything, even the glass of red wine! Our server was Morgan and she was friendly. I used the waitlist option from their website and we got a table right away while others waited to be sat. I'll visit my mom 3-4 times per year for a few weeks at a time so we will definitely be back.

Great under new management from Cowboys to Lasso! If there's something you haven't seen that you want to try (from their online menu), just let them know and they will ensure that you get on the requested rotation. There were some meats that we didn't see by the time we were already full, but made a little more space just to try it and we were glad we did! The cold bar had many delicious options. That egg salad was stand out (our entire party agreed) and the bacon really set it off! I didn't try the smoked salmon, but I hear it was tasty. As far as the meats, my favorite was the bacon-wrapped filet & bacon-wrapped chicken. Also loved the grilled pineapple and grilled Haloumi cheese with honey. Another thing was different and tasty was the Fried Yucca -- almost like a fried mashed potato! Of course the Brazilian cheese bread was a winner in my book (with a gluten intolerance). So, the BEST part is that almost the entire menu is gluten free (save for the garlic bread--brought around by the gauchos; pasta salads on the cold bar; crackers & Caesar Salad-- b/c of the croutons)! You're greeted as soon as you walk in and the service is great from top to bottom. The drink cart looked delightful and the sangria was sparkling, which was like a nice drink for a celebration. The decor was clean and only contributed to the atmosphere.

My last time was during December 2025, and we were seated at 5 PM and walked out at exactly 6:30. That's drinks, apps, food, a quick Happy Birthday, paying the bill, and out the door in an hour and a half flat. Perfect! Now onto the food. I have loved my food both times. I didn't want to have a ton of leftovers this time, so I opted to get a side salad and a side of lobster Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is a must order! The cream sauce is super flavorful and the whole thing just works. And if you order an app, try their loaded country chips. It's fried potato chips topped with ground beef, bacon, sour cream and cheddar. It's cheesy potatoes. How can you go wrong! I'm excited to return soon!

When we were seated, we were given our menus as well as a piece of paper warning us of a long wait. While that's not a great sign, honestly I prefer to have that expectation set up front and having the chance to say "nah, not for me" rather than being grumpy about the wait. I highly suggest that you take this seriously and get appetizers. We ordered the nachos and they were pretty decent. Beef was nicely spiced with taco seasoning. The sign told us 10-20 minutes for the appetizers, I think we were closer to 30, but we knew to not expect super speedy food so I can't be mad about it. It took 50 minutes from the nachos to get our entrees (I wasn't timing it, but I took the picture of the nachos and it had the time on it), which was riiiight about what we expected from the sign we had been given. Again, setting expectations goes a long way to minimizing disappointment and Montana's did well here. My son liked his burger and fries. My daughter said her fried chicken sandwich was fine. My ribeye steak was roughly equal to what I would get from a place like Texas Roadhouse or Outback. It had a lot of seasoning which I was happy with and was cooked properly, but wasn't the most tender ribeye out there. The Mac and cheese was super creamy which isn't my preference but it was a good version of that. The potato logs were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with. Ice flavor. But this goes back to expectations... my total bill for the three of us to eat massive portions of food was $72 before tip and including taxes. That is a phenomenal bargain for a massive 1/2 lb burger, a fried chicken sandwich that looked like two meals, and a big steak with two sides. The food was good and I don't need to add "for the price" to it, it was a good country style meal, and a great value, and the wait expectations were managed. Our server Laura was friendly and kept our drinks full during the wait. It was a good meal. J.Ja

She suggested a great wine and even brought a sample to try prior to us making our selection. We started with a few appetizers. The oysters Rockefeller did not have a lot of flavor and again not very hot kind of lukewarm in temperature. Not sure I would get either of these appetizers again. We chose a wedge salad, which was very good. Had nice chunks of blue cheese and a nice creamy dressing. Everything is served à la carte. The small sides are enough for two people to split. Where is the large is big enough for four people. I chose the bone in pork chop, which was pretty good, but the presentation was not all that great. My side was the stuffed mushrooms from the appetizer menu and they were delicious. My husband had the ocean 17, which he really enjoyed great flavor on the scallops and grouper he ordered a side of brussels sprouts, I thought they had a little too much balsamic in them. For dessert, my husband had the pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. It was served warm and it was delicious. I had the strawberry cake which was amazing. It was so busy in there but a lady sitting at the end of the bar but not actually at the bar told me to get behind another woman sitting at the bar to order my drink. Apparently they knew each other and they were very friendly and I appreciate them making sure the bartender got my drinks while she was down on that end of the bar. She was the only bartender so she had the bar & the tables in the bar area, but she was rocking it. We moved out of the bar area after getting our drinks and realized that there were a lot of tables that had no one sitting at them. My husband and I both realized that they obviously had those sections closed bc of the lack of staff. I will applaud the management on that call bc it's easier to say to ppl walking in that it's going to be a 45 min wait or whatever. Ppl don't like it when they get seated and then they feel like they've been forgotten about. It says a lot about management that they didn't want to overwhelm the staff and they didn't want the customers getting more and more pissed that their server wasn't giving them better treatment. We were offered a table at the bar that had become open ( bc we went back to the bar for another drink) or stay on the wait list so we stayed at the bar. Hannah was the bartender that was rocking it all night long! She never let us feel neglected. She apologized when we asked another server walking by if we could get some to go containers and we told her it wasn't a big deal. We just didn't want bother her when we could tell she was busting her butt. We told her she was amazing and that she never made us feel neglected in anyway. And she didn't. Onto the food...I had a cup of French onion soup and when I say that the broth was amazing I'm not exaggerating! My father used to make his own beef broth and caramelize his onions for hours. His was the best I ever had but theirs is right up there! The broth has so much depth of flavor and the cheese top was perfection! My only complaint is that the bowl wasn't big enough...lol. My husband had the Wild West shrimp and they were also very good. We've never had them but we both enjoyed them very much. My husband got the porterhouse steak with crispy brussel sprouts and loaded potato. I got the rib eye with asparagus and loaded potato. Everything was really good except my steak was more on the rare side than medium rare that I ordered but since I didn't eat very much of it bc I was already full it will be good when I go to reheat it. We hadn't been to longhorns in years but it was really good. And we appreciated the fact that they were trying to help the staff by leaving some tables empty. And by the time we were sat they had opened some tables so I think they had more wait staff come in. It was my birthday and it was a really enjoyable night, the women from the bar came and found us to ask if we'd had a good dinner and to say they loved my husband and how funny he was. And Hannah was just a joy! Give her a raise! Sorry o forgot to take pictures of our entree's, I told forgot about it when the food came. Probably bc of those couple of drinks...lol

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a high-energy, friendly host staff that immediately made us feel welcome and set the tone for the evening. I started with the Prince Edward Island oysters on the half shell, which were fresh and excellent. My wife enjoyed the grass-fed filet mignon, while I ordered the 45-day dry-aged ribeye. Both steaks were outstanding - incredible flavor, perfectly prepared, and exceptionally tender. The experience went far beyond just the food. One of the owners, Billy, introduced himself and then personally brought over two glasses of champagne to congratulate us on our anniversary, which was a very thoughtful gesture (even though my wife doesn't drink alcohol and champagne isn't my preference). The restaurant manager also made a point to stop by and congratulate us. Our server, Aidy (pronounced "eighty"), was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable of the menu, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable throughout the evening. As is tradition at Halls, they brought out and displayed the various cuts of steak while explaining the characteristics of each - a great touch that added to the experience. We ordered the mashed potatoes and the pepper jack creamed corn skillet for sides, both excellent. Dessert was the perfect finish: vanilla crème brûlée and whiskey bread pudding. One thing that really stood out was how well orchestrated the entire restaurant operation felt. From the hosts, to the servers, to the managers and support staff, everyone worked together seamlessly to create a polished and memorable dining experience. The staff worked hard, and each person clearly knew and performed their role perfectly. It was impressive! The dining room itself had a loud, energetic vibe that added to the atmosphere of the evening and fit the overall Halls experience perfectly. Honestly, there's not much we could have asked to be better. Halls delivered an exceptional dining experience all the way around.

The wife liked the Deluxe chicken sandwich . so all and will be back to try something else. I only gave 4-stars because the check falsely list the tip amounts based on a percentage which includes the sale tax. This is wrong and should only be based on the value of the food. Every restaurant knows that and it's an attempt to inflate which i don't appreciate .

We were sat immediately, and our waitress. Ashlyn, was prompt to greet us. She was very attentive and quick with drink refills and brought everything out in good timing. We had house salads, and we commented on how crisp they were in cold plates, making such a big difference. For our meals, we had salmon, ribs and steak entrees w sweet and loaded baked potatoes. The salmon was seasoned well and the sweet potato w cinnamon was hot and tasty. The steak and ribs were also done very well, cooked properly. I honestly can't say anything negative about the food or service. We will definitely go back. Thank you Ashlyn!

I know there's a lot of hype around Hall's, and the atmosphere there is definitely great, but in my opinion the food at Oak is better. It feels a touch more relaxed than Hall's while still being a really nice, upscale spot. If you're visiting Charleston and looking for a great steakhouse, I'd absolutely recommend Oak.

I ate with my team, so we had a tasting menu. I ordered the fish - WAIT before you assume I'm biased cuz I ordered fish at a steakhouse - I tried my friend's steak + I got feedback from my other teammates. Butter rolls to start - these were good but not amazing. They were also burnt on the top Crab cakes - the best food of the night actually. I'd get again Sides: mac & cheese - BAD. barely any cheese... really felt like pasta with a topping of some cheese (see pics) mashed potatoes - AMAZING. I know there was probably hella butter and cream but it was still so good. a Must-try here brussel sprouts - good Entrees: Halibut with lemon risotto -The risotto was too salty and the flavor of lemon was overwhelming (yes, the dish is labeled as lemon-risotto but you need a balance!!) The prime rib - so it was reported back from my other teammates that the meat was very chewy... everyone around me who ordered it did not finish it. The cocktails/drinks were good, and again the service was stellar, but some of the dishes missed the mark.
