My server Cole is the only reason I'm writing this review. The food was good -- can't go wrong at Texas Roadhouse, especially when you're hungry. However, the service was OUTSTANDING. Cole had the perfect energy level, had a sense of humor that made me laugh, and recommended some AMAZING drinks. Food is always great, but don't order takeout if you want all your food or you want it all correct. My bread is often missing but I received it this time which was pretty cool, however they forgot any sort of butter, the cinnamon or the regular. My friend and I stopped in last night for dinner around 8:15 pm. We love Texas Roadhouse and their food but that is not what this review is about. The music was SO LOUD it was like sitting in a dance club. Now I don't know about you but that is not how I like to enjoy my dinner. We could not hear each other speak at al, we were constantly repeating ourselves. I get it, if we can't hear each other we will leave fast so others can eat. Think of your clientele, maybe brought Grandma out to enjoy a grandchild's birthday, she can't hear a thing that is said. Maybe a couple is on a first date, forget trying to get to know each other. We recently picked up Texas Roadhouse food to go and found a spider and a bug in our food. I called and talked to the manager. He was very non-apologetic. He said he would at least take care of our bill and I think he ended up taking $10 off the bill which is unacceptable. My family and friends visited Texas Roadhouse last Nigh for a thank you celebration. There were 8 people in our party. We called ahead so they would have the table ready. We were seated right away when everyone arrived. The server was good. She took our drink orders right away and asked we wanted an appetizer. The server did a good job keeping everyone's drinks filled. The wait time for the meal was very reasonable. I ordered the ribeye steak. It was cooked properly. I was disappointed with the lack of seasoning. The steak itself was reasonably tender. It was thinner than what I expected. My wife enjoyed her smothered chicken and the kids liked the steak and shrimp. Overall it was a good meal. The cost with tip was approximately $200. read more

Holy Rib Eye! Came here on recommendation of several co workers and I am so glad I did. And even more glad it's a chain so I can go to one on the East Coast when I go home. Even though Texas Roadhouse doesn't take reservations, the website said that you could call ahead to put your name on the wait list, which I did and got a table within 3 minutes of arriving there. The restaurant is casual with a country flair. Wait staff is very nice and very attentive. I got to pick out my own bone in rib eye out of the showcase. Upon being seated at the booth, I got a big pail of peanuts but didn't have any since I didn't want to ruin my appetite. The bread was fresh baked and came with a cinnamon sugar whipped butter. Yum! The steak came with two sides. I got the House Salad which was very good: lettuce, onions, bacon, cheese, egg, tomatoes with my choice of Lite Ranch. I also got the baked sweet potato which came with butter and brown sugar. There was also a 'loaded' option which adds mini marshmallows but I opted for the 'plain' which was very tasty! The bone in rib eye was huge and perfectly prepared (medium rare). ALL of this for $20.99!!! I was stuffed to the gills and took more than half my steak back to the hotel. Large family going out to eat usually mean long wait times, big bills & someone usually hit being happy with their selection. Not today. We called ahead & got on their wait list so we didn't have to wait long at all to get in. Our waiter, Shukri according to my ticket, was great from start to finish. Again, large family so lots of drinks, baskets of bread, food and trips back and forth. Our drinks always stayed filled, our table was cleared several times from empty baskets, plates & cups. He made sure we got everything we ordered, as we wanted it & promptly got whatever we needed. Best of all, he has a wonderful sense of humor he is able to use to connect with people; even cranky teens, which I brought some of. Give that boy a raise cuz you wanna keep him around! My prime rib could have been a little pinker in areas & my kids was still mooing which he was ok with as well. Shrimp & onion bloom were good as well. Service defiantly made the night. 5 stars all the way. What sets them over the edge was their server, Joshua. He was amazing. Even with two little kids, he was patient, fun and my son loved him. Food was great! We obviously got ours to go due to the covid19 pandemic. Everything but the bread was great. It was hard and cold. But I am sure some of that was the travel involved, although we live less than 10 minutes away. The only disappointing part was the group of kids that work there. I came in here with my mom for dinner on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy and we were told there would be a 30-40 min wait. Luckily, I found 2 seats at the bar within 5 minutes so we sat there and ordered. The service and food were both great. I could cut my streak with my fork it was so tender! Will not be coming back here again. My friend, fiancé and I came for their ribeye. My friend knows all about steak, my fiancé was a meat cutter for a long time. My friend ordered a ribeye but he wanted it 2 inches cut. They served him a 2 inch cut but half the size of the ribeye. The manager came and insisted that's how it was supposed to be. We explained to the manager that we've been to other Texas Roadhouse and he always ordered the same thing and was always served the full size ribeye 2 inch thick. Our waiter was hilarious and had excellent recommendations, I got a side of mashed potatoes and while there isn't anything listed about garlic butter he offered to bring me some and side it's fabulous with everything. He said it's typically for their shrimp but he likes to try it on most things. So OF COURSE I said yes to trying that out. I will now be asking for that every time I go here. My boyfriend and his friend both got a flatiron steak, both of which were cooked exactly the way they asked. Each them raved about how juicy they were too. I let them try the garlic butter with their steaks as well...which lead to them deciding they will now be asking for that going forward forever as well. My only complaint is the ridiculous birthday singing/dancing stuff. You can be in mid conversation and they come out clapping and hollering and what not. At one point there were three "birthday's" back to back. This is the closest restaurant to our house, and probably our last choice when dining out, and usually only for the rolls, which are amazing. The place is always busy, with a fun atmosphere. And the prices are good, considering the quantity you get. But aside from the rolls, the food is mediocre at best. Last night, we ordered the onion blossom and left 2/3rds of it uneaten; we love onion rings, but these had an off taste. Maybe something was up with the fryer, because the fries tasted awful as well. My chicken fried sirloin was extremely grisly and the forgot my side. My wife thought her smothered chicken was merely OK. We've tried the place 4 or 5 Times over the years, and always regretted it afterwards. We've never had a good meal, but last night might have been the worst. 2 stars because of the rolls. I think I've been here around 20 to 30 times, and every time I go it is amazing. I have been to a myriad of different steak houses ranging in different prices, but Texas roadhouse has the most quality steak for the money that you pay. Never once has my steak been under cooked or overcooked, it has always been perfect. The service has also always been A1! It can get a little noisy in there, but that's to be expected. Their bar is also very good, and their drinks have never disappointed. Texas roadhouse is a go to place if you want consistency, great flavor, and even better prices. This is terribly sad. Waited at the bar for 20 min for a drink because the bartender is on her first day and they have left her alone for bar and restaurant. They will loose her too. She's busting her ass. If you can't handle the customers don't seat that many. I finally went and asked that a manager please help her because she's struggling. I decided to come in here for steak... since I had a crave for some good steak. After all this rain, I figured a good piece of ribeye will do me good. Upon walking in here, there was a 5-10 min wait, which was not bad. Right off the bad, I can see the nice, and friendly staff; mostly beautiful young girls.... (a plus!!) I ordered their 20 oz. Bone-in Ribeye, medium-rare; accompanied with butter corn, side mushrooms and a salad. Their complimentary bread is great, alongside cinnamon butter spread; great combination. While waiting for the food, the staff broke off with a line dance in the main aisle of the restaurant. This is great to entertain the crowd. On top of it all, each table has a full bucket of peanuts which is great, since we are allowed to make a mess by tossing the shells on the floor. No need to eat clean in here. I can't find anything bad about this restaurant.. . It's a chain restaurant, but it's quality is good and their food is well-cooked and prepared. The bread are phenomenal and the service was fantastic. jI was a little disappointed with my Catfish which I would normally eat with hot sauce [Louisiana style]. When I asked for hot sauce, they brought me a BBQ type spicy i-dont-konw. I should have asked for Tabasco or something else. Your table will be served delicious looking breads that you cannot eat... the steaks on the menu must be cooked without seasoning... you'd be better off going to any other steakhouse... I refuse to use steak sauce on a steak unless the steak is just plain flavorless, which I'd have to order that way here. For a good steak, simply drive to another steakhouse that has gf seasoning. Seriously, the buttered corn is not on the gluten free menu... What are they doing to the corn other than buttering it... maybe whoever created their gf menu has no clue what gluten is...
