Have had issues here with dine in as well as togo either the cooking of items, missing items, etc. However we ordered curbside yesterday and everything was on point. Friendly, knowledgeable and quick staff and food was awesome too. Had been craving a chicken fried steak and this Roadhouse location did not disappoint! Everything (including my sons steak temp) was right on the money. Good job executing great service and having the right cooks in the building during a difficult climate. Typically we love Texas Roadhouse, but this location is something else. As I read other reviews and compared them to my experience, I noticed many of the same issues. The first time we came here, the air conditioner was dripping on us and two other tables. One table got up and left. We told the waiter & manager that it was dripping on us and instead of offering a new table (which there were plenty), he moved our table back some. When it dripped in my daughter's food, I was pretty upset. How gross is that to have nasty water from the ceiling drop into your food. The manager apologized. Despite that incident, the waiter was decent and the food was good. Later we found out from the waiter that the AC had been dripping for months and he feels bad when people are seated there. We waited 2 months before returning...only because we wanted a good steak. It was busy and we were seated relatively fast. We ordered steak cooked medium. Mine and my daughter's two orders were cooked correctly. My husband's on the other hand came out nothing close to medium. He was unable to eat it. We showed the waitress and she said she could put it back on the grill. That upset my husband because he felt she should have brought a new one out. A couple of pieces he chewed had to be thrown out. He asked about how that was sanitary to take a steak that he has already eaten on and put it back on the grill. What if he was sick? You're going to take his germs and put it on the grill where you cook other steaks. Umm no. He never ate it. Do you think they took it off the bill? NOPE. Don't order the burgers. Their standard is to cook them medium rare. Research shows this is not a sufficient way to cook ground beef. My son got food poisoning after eating 1/3 of the All American Cheeseburger. I often order the Veggie Plate and always leave satisfied without feeling bogged down. They make nice, fresh House Salads! The Fried Catfish and the Roadkill are also excellent with a baked sweet potato side and green beans on the side. Kirk orders steak every time, & he is always been pleased with its flavor and char. They start you off with complimentary fresh baked rolls and cinnamon butter that is absolutely wonderful. We had the smothered chicken topped with melted cheese, mushrooms and onions. It was moist and cooked to perfection. I tried the green beans and you can tell they are vine fresh, with pieces of bacon and onion cooked in. The chicken fried chicken was pounded thin, lightly breaded and perfectly seasoned. It comes with two sides. I had the house salad, very fresh and served in a chilled bowl. I also had the steak fries and they were hot, fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was great. They keep you glass full and are very attentive. One of the most enjoyable lunches I've had. read more

And even better when dipped into Ranch dressing!! We ate every single pickle slice in the basket. I ordered the Smothered Chicken. I wish I had gotten my usual Chicken Critters. The Smothered Chicken wasn't bad. But first off, they forgot the cheese on the chicken. It was marinated well and it had onions and mushrooms but NO cheese? I mentioned it to the waiter and he offered to take it back to the kitchen so they could melt cheese over it. It was definitely way better after that. I think it was supposed to come with gravy on it as well which they also forgot. WTH??? I ordered the loaded sweet potato and house salad as my sides. The loaded sweet potato was delish! I always enjoy their salads too because they are very fresh. My boyfriend and his daughter split steak and shrimp and they both really seemed to enjoy it. It was cooked well done like they requested. I've had their shrimp before and they're really good. They serve it over garlic bread. Our server was sooooooo nice! His name was Ruben. He was very friendly and courteous. The restaurant itself was not as busy as I thought it would be. We went at around 7:00pm on a Saturday night and got seated right away. That NEVER happens there. We were wondering if it was because of the new restaurant down the street Bubba's 33? Maybe they are losing business. Hmmm, not sure. I noticed the table next to us ordered the Cheese Fries as an appetizer but it didn't come with bacon. They brought the bacon after the fact. My wife and I were there Saturday around 4:30. The food was average and the service was average. The problem was we noticed a server (not ours) that had a sucker in her mouth, taking it in and out and playing with her hair. What made this more odd was there appeared to be management there talking with the group not saying anything to her. I took pictures and videos for proof. I called the manager from my phone, she would not give her name, with what was going on and explained how unsanitary this was and she acted as though I was the problem not the server. The ribs and chicken was something I would frequently order because the ribs are almost always fall off the bone good, and the chicken is juicy and tender. Today was no exception.....ribs were good and the green beans were delicious! I didn't have the chicken but one of my coworkers did and he said it was just as I had described. Everyone enjoyed their meal even though we had to rush to get back to our assigned tasks. Service was great and accommodating to our busy schedule. It is sad when you call and are told to talk to a manager for a large party and are lied to about them being able to accommodate you party. They were told 9 people and 1 which is in a wheelchair. I was told no problem. We get there and we are told that they were going to have to split us up into 2 different booths. The Lady Manager there was rude and really did not care. Your customer service sucks and the General Manager will be hearing about this also.
