This place is okay. I usually order Prime Rib. I think I prefer Texas Roadhouse back at home in Kansas. I ordered ribeye instead. It wasn't the perfect medium rare. But as always, I love the corn, beans, and bake potatoe. I also in love with their cinnamon butter, and the rolls are always made perfect. My rating of a 2 is for vegans - there are pretty much zero options, buuuuuut in terms of service and portions, non-vegans would likely see a higher rating. I had a hunch I shouldn't order any cooked vegetables because they would probably be prepared with butter; turned out it was worse - bacon in the green beans (eww). so yeah, if you're vegan, you get lettuce and tomato. :-/ (Baked potato & Sweet Potato are on the menu, but I didn't bother inquiring as to whether that could be prepared without butter, etc. If you find out, let me know.) but my co-workers dishes were nice sized, and our waitress was so prompt. Service has gone down hill!!! Last 5 times I've gone in there my order was messed up or took an hour to get. A managed actually put his hands on me after I was complaining about how long my wait was. Thought I was going to have to fight the guy. I won't lie I'm not nice once I'm mad but 5 times in a row is a management program. Gave them another chance and waited 22 minutes before some one answered the phone for a to-go order and I lost it and was told to never come back...... this is after the same manager grabbed my arm and told me to not be rude. So my girlfriend tried again tonight and the messed the order up again!!!! This is 7 times in a row now. I think being rude was justified. Management is horrible and so is the staff. Giving it 3 stars because our food was good and our server was amazing. (Caitlyn was her name I believe). But my problem was all of the other servers! The walk from the front door to our table was horrible. 3-4 servers standing at every computer station and each of them gave us awful looks. I tried to blow it off but what really set me over the edge was when I was sitting at my table trying to eat and talk with family & every time I glance up there is a waitress with her eyes glued on me and the nastiest stank face I've ever seen. And she stood there for loke 15 minutes. I'm not even joking! Nothing to make you feel more welcome than that, right? Also, as we were leaving we got the same disguisting looks from servers standing around and the 12 hostesses they had in the front. NOT ONE PERSON said "thank you" or anything! You can even get a buttery sweet potato as a side - delicious with a little brown sugar. In addition to the buckets of peanuts at every table (and peanut shells covering every inch of the floor), you'll get baskets of yummy bread delivered to your table throughout the meal. Start off with Rattlesnake Bites (jalapenos and cheese fried up and served with horseradish sauce), then get your salad with made from scratch dressing. Any of the steaks are worth a shot but I hear their ribs are among the best. My husband prefers the country fried steak. Even if you're not into the meat aspect of the restaurant, they offer a country veggie plate that has enough filling southern vegetables to keep anyone satisfied. Horrible & disgusting service!!! Texas Roadhouse is by far my favorite restaurant & have been a loyal customer for over many years. I always leave satisfied with both my meal and service. However, this one particular visit on the date of 7/22/18 was the worst! Our server Casey (as listed on my receipt) was exceptionally rude. Not only was she curt, but she continuously rolled her eyes as we gave her our food orders. When I asked her for two straws, she practically threw them at us. She completely rushed our food order, cut us off as we ordered our sides (she was clearly annoyed & simply did not want to be there). I figured she was having a bad night, but that is no excuse. I also witnessed her behave exactly the same with the table across from us. Upon receiving news that the steaks we ordered were out, we opted for a second choice. I know for sure the server usually asks if we can cut into our steaks to confirm that they had been cooked properly. Casey failed to ask,& it turned out that our steaks were in fact NOT cooked properly. We refused to ask anything more from Casey and her horrible attitude (risking intentional damage to our food). We sat in silence, barely touching our food. Prior to all this happening, we did have a gentleman by the name of Lee come to our table informing us that if anything was needed on our end to kindly seek his assistance. Once we realized that bout our dinner and evening had been ruined by Casey, Lee was no where to be found (coincidental much?) It is rare that I express such negative attitude towards servers (I have been a server myself in the past, and understand it can become quite stressful) however, that is absolutely no excuse to treat your paying customers in such a manner - especially if they are there to enjoy a meal after a long and hectic day. Texas Roadhouse should definitely consider/check their employees attitudes and leave them at the door - or simply hire nicer employees. read more

The steak is very tasty. The house salads weren't made that morning but aren't made till you walk in the door and order one. The cost of a good quality meal is reasonable. The service is great. The managers don't sit around they come to your table and ask how everyone's meal is. Consistency is key. read more

I've obviously been here a few times. I must like something, huh? As a matter of fact, I do like the place. About a year ago, the chain changed the way they cook the mushrooms on the Smothered Chicken. I am not a fan of the change. The mushrooms used to be pan roasted and big chunks and now they are sliced and kind of boiled. Tonight I thought I'd try the Portobello Mushroom Chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly but the mushroom sauce was over salted and the mushrooms soggy. My grandson had the 12 oz New York Strip and thought it was cooked perfectly (medium.) As my grandson said, "Why do you order chicken at a steakhouse?" Good point but I don't eat beef. I'll continue coming to the Texas Roadhouse but will order my chicken plain. read more

The most horrible place to eat at. The worse customer service ever. Went to eat last night and was seated at 7:49 pm did not get our food until 8:50 pm to only have our steaks cooked incorrectly, THAT TOOK ANOTHER 15 MINS to get back. Asked to speak to the manager & she did not even let me explain, completely cut me off and took our steaks, did not even bother to apologize for the horrible customer service. A simple sorry goes a long way. In fact she looked 12 and did not know how to handle the situation. Don't understand how this horrible location is still open. Love this place! We came on the busiest day of the week-Friday night. They were quick to sit us down and even though we had a wait, the peanuts available for everyone was entertaining enough. Waiters are courteous and professional, but I guess he was having a bad night. Forgot our drinks, confused our orders and we had to hunt him down for a refill. Besides this, food was GREAT. I had a small steak plate for only $10. I only ate a 1/3 of it and was full. Flavors are delicious and my steak was cooked to perfection. I will come again and hope for a better waiter. read more

I'm kinda like another guy on here (that'd be Chris S.) who took ma here for Mother's Day. I don't have but 2 words... well dang. Food was pretty good for the price. We get there and I see a lot (and I mean A LOOOOOOOOOOT) of people waiting to be seated. I ask how long a wait for 3 would be. The hostess says 10 minutes. In closer to 5 minutes we're shown to a booth. The booth was uncomfortable so the waiter gets the manager and she gets us a table with no problems at all. The new waiter was friendly and knew his presentation spiel and all that good stuff. I got the Road Kill, which is essentially a hamburger patty smothered in mushrooms, onions and jack cheese. It came with 2 sides so I chose the sweet potato and a bowl of chili. The chili came out first and lemme tell you when I say I'm sold I am S-O-L-D!!! Some of the best daggone chili I've ever had. Meaty. Decent amount of beans. Not soupy. Just good friggin chili!! The Road Kill, itself, was off the chain and something I could see myself getting on a regular basis. My intention is to stop by again and try somethin else. Never thought I'd be a true fan of a chain spot like this. Only complaint is the peanuts and this is just out of concern for those who have peanut allergies. Otherwise... I'll be back there again. read more

Pleasant surprise for a chain- all are different- great NY Strip and Ribeye, real baked potato, steam veggies. To be honest, I wasn't really expecting much of a good meal out of this place when we went in, but it was more about my family's choice than mine. However, my tune quickly changed when we walked in and our hostess grabbed a couple of baskets of fresh bread with cinnamon butter. Now, I've had my fair share of regular whipped buttercream goodness at other steakhouses before, but cinnamon butter? This was definitely intriguing. There were five of us so we were sat in a large booth that was a little cramped for me (I have long arms as does my Dad, who was sitting next to me) so I was attempting not to elbow my parents throughout the meal. I really wasn't in the mood for beef (I know, it's shocking!) so I ordered the Grilled BBQ Chicken with double fresh veggies (steamed broccoli and carrots with butter--I could have done without the butter). The chicken was moist, tender and absolutely delicious. I'm a big veggie fan too but I don't like them to be swimming in butter. So, if you ask for the veggies and don't want the butter, you better pipe up while the waiter is there. We went there on a Saturday evening and they were really busy so our food took longer than usual to come out. However, I'd like to say it was worth the wait. We had them cater our Christmas party and we couldn't be more pleased. Food was great, as always. Service people were fantastic and kind and helpful with set up and ckean up. They even helped set up and serve additional food items that we did not purchase from them. Portions of sides and delicious rolls were far more than we expected (we had leftovers!). The one thing I can say off hand, is that this location does not open for lunch and I think they could make killer money if they did. This place is almost always packed when they are open. For the most part, I do like this place. One of my kids wanted to have us try Fried Pickles. She said she had them before with friends. I was very disappointed with them. Taste was worse than a sour pickle. Tried two, just in case I got a bad one at first. They are no good. Won't have them again. They also gave us complimentary rolls. We got them nice and steamy and those were great!!! I had the grilled pork chops. Chops were a bit over cooked, but were still edible and actgually still tasted good, just a bit tough from over cooking. Baked potatoes were good. I only get mine with bacon bits, butter and cheese. Cooked perfectly and taste good. House salad was my other side. About like a normal house/side salad. Had mine with Italian. Atmosphere.. well it's noisy, so if you want to be heard by everyone in your party, probably not the place to go. Floors are dirty. They give you a basket of peanuts and you are expected to throw the used shells on the floor after eating them. I think that is disgusting. I told my kids and other guests to please put them in baskets or plates we weren't using or were done with. Someone told me the health department stopped this , but haven't been back to find out. To me that's gross and invites pests like roaches. If you see my Jack In The Box review, you'll know why I say that. I think they are a bit pricey, but then they are a steak house. Me and my fiancee ate here Thursday evening before 6pm. The parking lot was pull when we arrived we did find a spot ,we went inside and the restaurant was super busy ,the ladies at the entrance got us a table right away without and talk about being lucky twice. We ordered the $8.99 x 2 meal which is a bargain for plus im cheap lol. our waiter Scot was great we asked for extra bread rolls,extra sour cream etc. The service was great and so is the food.
