Sangria margarita
Maria M.

Delicious food, the chili was a little spicy and flavorful. The ribs are cooked to perfection with the bone sliding off. The steak was nice and tender. The margarita was great and cold for this AZ heat. There are free peanuts. The service was quick. The staff was friendly. Overall it was a wonderful experience for a steak and I like the variety of sides you can choose from.

Our go to location for Texas Roadhouse because they are great and friendly almost lots of times. As far as I can recall we've only had one bad experience here before but the rest of the great trips and moments we have here have definitely made up for it and make us still feel happy to come here. Food is always good when it comes out fresh and with good flavor, as well as the ambiance and environment of the place is great being casual, with good music, filled with laughter and enjoyment all around and even happiness with birthday yeehaws to the dancing they do Big Shout out and gratefulness to Tiffany, she was our server tonight and had fantastic energy and great personality, told us she just transferred in, hope the location realizes they got a great one and can't wait for the next time back

12oz Strip with a loaded tater

Note: I am not a big fan of chains so I am probably not the target customer for this place. That said... Arrived around 6pm on a Sunday. Place was full up and there was about a 20 wait. Hostess was friendly and they use a text based notification system. Most of the waiting space was outdoors with little to no cover. Not sure I would want to wait outside for 20 to 30 minutes in the PHX summer Once seated, we were greeted promptly. The menu has a lot of options it covers apps, salads, steaks, chicken, ribs, desserts and more.. We started with Rattlesnake Bites. These a basically deep fried jalapeño poppers. They were okay, but I can only handle so much fried food. For an entree, I went with the 12 oz NY strip with baked potato and caesar salad. Salad was not bad. The steak was serviceable. Not in line with the higher end places, but not bad. The baked potato came with butter, sour cream, cheese, and bacon bits. Was pretty good as well. Overall, my experience was fine. Not sure that I would return, but then again, I am not the consumer they are targeting..

Rolls and cinnamon butter

Staying in a nearby hotel, our choices for meat and shrimp were Texas Roadhouse or the other guys next door. When I mentioned it, my gkids excitedly told me that I need to try the rolls at TRH. Alan was our waiter and I'd definitely recommend asking for his section. He took good care of us. The rolls were as good as the gkids mentioned. Fresh, hot and it comes with a nice light cinnamon butter. We came in about 9:30 on a Friday night and it was so busy!! Between the Cactus Blossom and rolls, we were full by the time our dinners arrived. I will add that it was nearly an hour before we got our food but Alan brought more rolls with a smile every time we asked. The place is loud, they celebrate birthdays, involving all the guests and there's dancing. Be prepared.

Would not go here. Place is too noisy &!hard to hear at all. Food was not great, their Mac & cheese is gross.Place is always crowded, & it sucks. Not worth it at all. You could lose yr hearing here.

If you're in the mood for TX Roadhouse this is a good one but be prepared for the LOUD and proud Yeehaw's! Food is good service is very good!

12oz rib eye. Medium rare. Decent for price. A bit salty, could be the mushrooms. Worth the money. And staff is very attentive.

Still enjoy the fun staff at the bar. Good beef and cold drinks. Always busy. Steaks may come just under what you are used to for med-rare at other restaurants. They can always add heat but not dry out your entree.

Hurricane Margarita and cactus blossom

I love Texas Roadhouse in general, and this location lives up to that expectation. Always great service. High quality food. I almost always get the sirloin cooked medium and it is a perfect pink inside. Cactus blossom is an awesome flavor - I think better than the Blooming onion at you-know-where. Ribs are fall-off-the-bone good. I truly loved their buttered corn. Brings me back to childhood days growing up near Dallas. It's a bit loud and not for those who like a calmer atmosphere. Busy, bustling, and fun.

Our server was fantastic - very attentive and friendly and cute as a bug's ear. We started by ordering drinks. Hubby just ordered a beer, and I got the Raspberry Baray. I've ordered a different cocktail from their menu every time I've come and this has been my favorite. It was delish! For starter we got the meatballs served on creamy polenta. They were fantastic and quite large. I love them! For entrees, hubby got the Atlantic salmon with fingerling potatoes and I got the center cut filet with mashed potatoes and baby carrots. Both were so yummy. My filet was cooked exactly the way I love it. For dessert, hubby had the lemon cake with Bavarian cream and I had the butter cake with strawberries and whipped cream. They were both heavenly! If you come, make sure that you have a reservation. We saw many people trying to drop in without a reservation. They were sent to the bar but at one point there were no seats at the bar so people had to just leave.

If you had a question, he got an answer. If you needed anything, he got it covered. He provided a very relaxing evening after a long work week. Additionally, all of our food came out in a very timely manner. Now the food. For starters, I opted for the tenderloin chili which was very flavorful. Despite the cheese not looking melted on top of the chili, it was perfectly heated and had a little spicy kick to it as well. The jalapeño honey cornbread was the perfect pairing. For the entree, I went with the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection, medium rare plus. It was flavorful and melted in my mouth. Rarely do I finish a steak in one sitting but I was determined to enjoy every bite. My steak was paired with their parmesan potatoes which was like an elevated au gratin. Both items were very delicious. For drinks I had the copper spur which was a slight riff on a classic gold rush cocktail. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse which was like chocolate pudding with pizazz. Again, both items were very good. All in all, I would absolutely return. Easy 5/5 for me .

The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.

When my friend and I got there, we still waited 15 minutes past our reservation time, so keep that in mind. But while you are waiting, you are hanging out outside by the colorful tree art and there are worse places to wait! Logan, the hostess, was lovely and seated us. Cara was our waitress and she was beyond friendly. I wish I could hang out with her in real life. She brought us a free dessert on the house because I noted on the reservation that it was my birthday. The dessert, the Mexican ice cream, was outstanding and an impressive portion. But I'm getting ahead of myself. We got the elote, cucumber salad, aguacate, pulpo (octopus), and steak. The starters were insanely delicious. I recommend all three. I think the standout for both of us was the cucumber salad. The entrees are the only reason I am not giving a full five stars, because while both were such high-quality, the steak was hard for my friend to separate from the bone, and the octopus was overly salty. But I still loved every bite, and the portion size for both entrees was so appreciated. If you are in Phoenix or visiting, I recommend you make a point to go to Bacanora. It is such a cool space, the food is clearly carefully crafted, and the staff is warm and happy to have you.
