Me and my family went to this location and we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! The adult beverages were too sweet for my liking. However majority of the food was not only affordable but delicious as well! My favorites were the fried pickles, steak, and seasoned rice. The service great the waiter did well handling our party of 8! There was some dancing by the staff and music playing! There is ample parking as they have a designated parking lot. Our go to location for Texas Roadhouse because they are great and friendly almost lots of times. As far as I can recall we've only had one bad experience here before but the rest of the great trips and moments we have here have definitely made up for it and make us still feel happy to come here. Hostess was friendly and they use a text based notification system. Most of the waiting space was outdoors with little to no cover. The menu has a lot of options it covers apps, salads, steaks, chicken, ribs, desserts and more.. We started with Rattlesnake Bites. These a basically deep fried jalapeño poppers. They were okay, but I can only handle so much fried food. For an entree, I went with the 12 oz NY strip with baked potato and caesar salad. Salad was not bad. The steak was serviceable. Not in line with the higher end places, but not bad. The baked potato came with butter, sour cream, cheese, and bacon bits. Was pretty good as well. Overall, my experience was fine. Staying in a nearby hotel, our choices for meat and shrimp were Texas Roadhouse or the other guys next door. When I mentioned it, my gkids excitedly told me that I need to try the rolls at TRH. Alan was our waiter and I'd definitely recommend asking for his section. He took good care of us. The rolls were as good as the gkids mentioned. Fresh, hot and it comes with a nice light cinnamon butter. We came in about 9:30 on a Friday night and it was so busy!! Between the Cactus Blossom and rolls, we were full by the time our dinners arrived. I will add that it was nearly an hour before we got our food but Alan brought more rolls with a smile every time we asked. I want to be very clear, the four stars is not comparable to fine dining four stars, but when compared to all Texas Roadhouses (and restaurants compared), it is deserving to be recognized as "above average". The service was great. In our party of 7, the wait staff was very timely with rolls and water service, which is usually a big indicator to how well a place is run. The reason why it is not five, is that the food was slightly bland. I ordered sauteed mushrooms and onions, and there was an extremely small portion of them served. The steak had very little flavor, with not much of a sear. The Caesar salad had good flavor, but the lettuce was slightly wilted. Overall, a good experience for the situation at hand. Texas Roadhouse is greatly themed steakhouse with plenty of seating. It's located in a somewhat dead area due to the dead Metro Mall. It's next to Longhorn Steakhouse along with some other restaurants. First off, our server Breanna was quite energetic and helpful to all of us. I ended up getting the Fillet Medallions with a side of mashed potatoes and buttered corn. This dish also comes with fried rice. I wish they told me that the rice had onions in it. The medallions were tasty and so were the sides. I only didn't really like the gravy. The complimentary Texas rolls were fantastic too. The complimentary peanuts weren't so good though. The family and I went here reluctantly last night for dinner because we believe in second chances. The last time we had visited this location was a very long time ago and things were decent to say the least. I don't know if it has a new manager, if there's been a whole revamp of staff or what the deal might be but everything was AMAZING.... From the time we got there to the time we left it was a PERFECT experience. The greeters were nice and our server was AMAZING, she was always checking in on us. Then there's the manager, Riley I believe was her name. I saw her in the section I was in checking in on customers periodically so I assume that is her normal procedure. Long story short we had an excellent experience dining here this time. The staff and the food were both perfect. Shocking to say I have never been to Texas Roadhouse. I have not eaten red meat and over 10 years and I had a craving all of a sudden so I ordered the prime rib medium. We have been sitting here for a hour already, waiting for our food. I am to the point were I want to just leave. Our server hasn't checked in on us, if anything she's avoiding eye contact with our table. The manager was walking by when she noticed me complaining while writing this review, she stopped to ask if everything was OK, we told her we've been waiting on our food. She went back to check on the food, came back and said they were backed up in the kitchen and she would make sure it comes out as soon as it's done. Ten minutes later the luke warm food got to us. Our server stopped by fifteen minutes after we got our food. She tried to save face by saying she sent her manager over to check in on us since the food was taking to long. We did not like that at all, please be honest, your manager would not have stopped if she didn't hear me complain as she was walking by. Let me be very clear, we're not the type of people to complain or get upset if the kitchen is backed up, we understand things can get crazy if you keep communicating with us or let us know what's going on. But if you're purposely avoiding us, trying not to make eye contact, then we do have a problem. It's not hard to stop by and keep us informed on what is going on in the kitchen or refill our drinks. Service was just awful. Now onto the food... The food was not good, I know this is not fine dining but geez the food should at least taste good. I ordered the 8oz salmon with loaded mashed potatoes and veggies, hubby got BBQ grilled chicken, mac and cheese and veggies, son got the half rack ribs, chilli and Caesar salad, daughter got, sirloin steak, Ceasars Salad and mashed potatoes, we also order their Cactus blossom. The Cactus blossom was the only good thing. Everything else was blah, specially their frozen steamed veggies, those were just bad. For drinks the kids got mocktails, sparkling berry bliss and strawberry Cucumber fizz. The kids liked the drinks. The manager did come by to let us know that she would take half off our check which was good, I know she wanted to make it right which we appreciate and that's the reason I bumped this up to two stars. We visited the Texas Roadhouse at 10051 North Metro Parkway in Phoenix for the first time and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, genuine smiles. The team at the front was so welcoming, and when we left, they sent us off with the same friendliness--it's clear this location has excellent training and a staff that truly loves what they do. The atmosphere was fun and lively, with multiple giant screens showing country music artists and sports. There were giant electric guitars on the ceiling with a colorful vibe for their decor. We especially loved "Willie's Corner," a fun and thoughtful tribute to the great Willie Nelson that added even more charm to the space. Our server, Aimee, was fantastic--polite, friendly, and super knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered off the $12.99 Early Dine Menu (with a great array of available hours) which in this day and age was an incredible value with an entree and two delicious sides. My husband really enjoyed his 6 oz dinner sirloin steak with flavorful corn and green beans. I absolutely loved the country fried chicken with perfectly steamed broccoli. The loaded sweet potato with toasted marshmallows was the ultimate comfort food--so good! Of course, their yummy Texas Roadhouse Rolls are famous! There are so many other choices to enjoy on future visits. The manager, Andrew, even came over to greet and talk with us, which was such a nice, personal touch. We also noticed a simple email sign-up for their VIP Club right at the table--easy and convenient. We immediately signed up! They even gave us a large bag of peanuts in the shell which was fun! As we were leaving, we read a sign that mentioned how they give back to the community through partnerships, fundraising, and local events. I am really just not a fan of Texas Roadhouse. i would rather go to a locally owned and a high quality, good steakhouse if I want a steak. However, with that said, I guess it serves it's purpose as a corporate chain for a smaller budget night out and a pretty good place to host a work event or get a lunch. It seems like a place for a family to go and be able to eat that type of food at a lower price point. I have never left saying, "That was amazing" Service is always very slow. With that said I do love their rolls/bread. The place is just always way too busy, crowded ,noisy, and packed with kids running around. I have never had great service nor food at any of the locations I have ever visited. As I get older I am shunning these types of places and looking for a more peaceful, higher quality, locally owned experiences. I will go every now and again if I am in the mood or have a gift card but if I do I try to go on off hours. Maybe the things that are good here are not things I eat? I don't know why it is so popular. Someone mentioned the catfish. I would never eat that. So maybe, if you like catfish maybe give it a try. This is nowhere near a 5 star dining experience. read more
