First was created by an awesome Host staff on Sunday morning and Jade (manager) with her big smile was so friendly and welcoming to us first timers and got us hooked up with a great seat in the bar area right away. Richard was our server and he was very kind and attentive. He was new so still gaining confidence but he was thoughtful, listened and even made what he thought he couldn't do happen (dressing on the side :)). Really good friendly service. The steak we ordered came out slightly under cooked but he hooked it up right away. Honestly, you always know what you're going to get with Texas Roadhouse. The reason for this review is because our waiter, Harrison, was so great he legit should be the one training people on customer service. Drinks were constantly refilled, he checked on us regularly, picked up dirty dishes once we finished them. I almost forgot we were at TX Roadhouse because the service was so good haha. Joined waitlist online, but they do not seat you until full party gets to the table which is understandable, but seating 10 mins after entire party got to front is not acceptable. We ordered rattlesnake bites, killer ribs in appetizers. 6oz and 8oz steaks and road kill , two cheese burgers from kids meals. Rattlesnake bites was okay, ribs never came ti our table and we had to remind them to remove it from check Steaks were great, road kill was average. Sides were great. We went for dinner on a Wednesday expecting it to be a bit less chaotic mid week - we were wrong. This place is packed. We were surprised about the wait time, quoted 15-20 minutes and seated within 5. Service was pretty good considering the traffic flow. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We (I) have had issues in this particular location a few times about seasoning on my steak (usually too luck). Today, requested 1/2 seasoning and it came out perfectly balanced. The only "down" side is the fresh veggies weren't heated completely and these weee some cold pieces. Restaurant and restrooms (I always base cleanliness off a restroom, if it's clean then most likely the kitchen is as well) weee clean and well maintained. My baby and I came here on an extremely busy Saturday night the parking lot was packed almost like it was a mall, I was expecting a 45 minute to an hour wait but when I got in the hostess said there was only a 10 to 15 minute wait! This was only my second time here but everyone raves about their complementary bread and cinnamon butter, I had to come back and see if it lived up to the hype. My baby demolished the bread lol. I had a card for a free appetizer so I got the cheese fries. They are huge I couldn't finish them they were just ok in my opinion. For my entree I got an 8 oz med steak with a baked potato and side Caesar salad. Everything was good however the waitress didn't mention the extra charge for the potato toppings which is a pet peeve of mine when dining out. If there is an up charge for anything it needs to be addressed at the time of ordering if you are suggesting that....... Also if you have little ones be careful if they are playing on the tablet on the table there is a charge for that as well, I had no clue about it so I let my waitress know and she told the manager and they took it off for me. Came for early dinner at 5pm on Saturday; had reservation which was good because they were packed and we had 5 people, 2 elderly with mobility issues. We were seated at a table in the back which accommodated our needs. Service was friendly, prompt, and solicitous--5 stars for that! Unfortunately, the food was a problem. Flavor was delicious! But...4 of the 5 of us had steak, and 3 of the steaks were ordered medium but came out closer to rare. One was definitely rare. For a steakhouse to undercook steak so badly is just unacceptable, hence the 3 stars. On a safety note, the entrance and exit was so jammed full that it was extremely difficult for mobility impaired people to get in and out--there's not enough space between entering the front door and the check-in podium, and you have to exit through that same constricted space. We visited this location and food was consistent with others we've tried. Noticed a family restroom. Maybe it's just me but I never noticed one for family in other locations I've visited. We were seated relatively quickly and food was promptly delivered. I will say that when it was time to pay the bill, it was difficult to find our server so had to wait a while longer than expected. Texas Roadhouse is ALWAYS busy (which is a good sign) but my table waited for 45 mins to be seated. It was surprisingly busy at an early hour (around 5:30) when we arrived. Restaurant is dim with a lot of wood decor (very country vibes). Food: Appetizers came quite quick but food took longer to serve probably because of the business and the VERY large servings, but prices are pretty good. Meals come with 2 large sides that you can choose from and the heavenly signature rolls and butter are free! you can ask for extra as well. 1. Cactus Blossom very filling, hard to grab, nice flavor, some are crunchy but some bites may be soggy, overall enjoyed it 2. Fried pickles salty (I know pickles are salty but both the breading and pickles being salty can get a little much) sauce was good though 3. Fried Catfish Not anything out of this world, just the usual fried catfish. The side caesar salad I chose was enjoyable according to my party 4. Seasoned rice was okay-- nothing special, and the grilled salmon and mushroom were the same. 5. Sides like loaded potato and mac and cheese weren't too flavorful. Friday night 6pm. Place is packed with a 50 minute wait as expected and we were determined. I couldn't imagine working in a place that jams so many people in, serve the hangry people dinner and do it with a smile. But our server Craig did this and went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. What a waste of my money! Ordered dinner for me and my wife to go last night. She had the grilled chicken salad and I got the country fried sirloin. She said the salad was great! Saturday, February 21st, my 88 year old Mom and also myself and a friend of ours went to Texas Roadhouse Prosper for the first time. We just moved to Prosper and went for the first time there for a belated birthday for my Mom after the ice storm week. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and let us pick our booth to make my Mom very comfortable hearing. Deshawn, our waiter, was outstanding. He was very attentive to every little detail of our drinks, meals, and whatever we needed or wanted. He was extremely kind to the 3 of us senior women, took a picture for us and made our celebratory lunch so wonderful. Chris, the manager that day, was very kind and came by the table and noted that it was our first time at the Prosper restaurant. And, the food, we each had something different and every meal was delicious, delivered hot and nice presentation. I would highly recommend this restaurant. However having been back in the states for a few months we tried the Prosper location - wow - very nice. Service over the top - everyone was hyper alert and aware of our needs. The menu is - well, sorry anything Texas without Chicken Fried Steak gets a ding from me. Not gonna try the Chicken Fried Chicken because I came to a steak place - that's not this locations fault and I am sure corporate has their reasons. Restaurant was near and clean - well staffed. Service was quick. Our waitress was exceptional and the manager came and checked on us - nice ! Steak came out medium as asked. Perfectly cooked and a little heavily salted. Amazing service from Muhammad! My husband and I and our 2 year old stopped by around 4-5pm on a Thursday and our server was so kind to our son. He immediately took notice of his Buzz Lightyear toy which made our sons entire day. He was very excited for Muhammad to come back around and to share his toy (which is one of the things we have been working on him with) so the fact that he was so good at taking an interest in our son made it even better! We also only ended up ordering two appetizers and a kids meal and waters and he did not treat us any differently than someone ordering a $30 steak.
