Happy Hour is Monday - Friday from 3-6 with a wide range of options ranging from the prime rib sliders, crispy cauliflower, garlic parmesan fries, chicken chile nachos, fired up shrimp, steak tacos and beef sliders. The happy hour drinks range from $5 to $7.95. You must try the Double Black Diamond Martini (fresh pineapple and New Amsterdam vodka). Okay I NEVER give 5*s but I'd give these guys 10 if I could. The place is modern and gorgeous, the wooden goose, the artwork, the phoenix, and even the carpet all blend together to create a welcoming energetic environment. Our waiter Ruben was probably the best server we've had in years. He knew the food and drinks inside and out, he anticipated our needs and magically showed up with refills before I even knew I needed one. He told us about things on the menu and the restaurant and the services they offer. He was a guide without ever being pushy, he was always there with whatever we needed but was never hovering. Nice kid! I rarely talk to the managers unless something is seriously wrong. In this case I called Tom over to compliment how great the place is. We told him it was our first time in and that the only reason we hadn't been in before was it looked a bit expensive. He did mention they just came up with pick-a-pair for lunch at $14.95. Normally this means skimpy half-portions of stuff but not here. I was in the mood for bacon so I went for the BLT Salad & BLT Sandwich. The dressing was made in house and wonderfully garlicky without being overpowering. The tomatoes were juicy and flavorful, the bread was grilled to perfection, and even the arugula was delicious (and I hate arugula/rocket). My wife got the club with fruit salad as her side. Ruben said they cut the fruit daily. My wife doesn't like strawberries nor pineapple so I got bonus fruit on my salad. She only at half because Firebirds has a crème brûlée cheesecake and we had to split that. While we were there, a nearby table was celebrating and a bunch of waitstaff came out with shakers and martini glasses and poured everyone drinks. Fun and classy at the same time. We joined the loyalty club. No having to check in nor track points, they just send you discounts and free stuff in your birthday. The Jr. Chef club members get a free TShirt, a sundae on your birthday, a kitchen grill tours-makes me wish I was 10. We had a great experience at Firebirds - Plano. It is a nice restaurant decorated well and plenty of seating. We started with the deviled eggs as an appetizer and they were very good. We ordered a Caesar salad to start and it was good. I ordered the citrus salmon and shrimp with mango salsa and asparagus. It was very tasty. We also had the 7oz filet with broccoli and accompanied the steak with grilled mushrooms and onions. Our server was attentive and visited us several times to check on us and was polite. he is awesome. We will definitely come back and try more from the menu. read more

Me and a group of friends dined here recently for Weekend Brunch. We were the first to arrive when the restaurant opened so the ambiance was quiet and relaxing. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Our server (Aria) did a great job taking care of our table. She was friendly and attentive, with a positive attitude. We did not take pictures of the food, but some of the items we enjoyed were the shrimp & grits, philly cheesesteak egg rolls, candied bacon, lobster spinach queso, grilled salmon Benedict and the hot honey chicken biscuit. Don't worry about the previous reviews of this restaurant having slow service. Our lovely waitress Rachel was so sweet and gave us the best recommendations. The manager herself came over to check on us and made sure we had everything we needed. All the dishes here are amazing. If you come here during lunch, the Three Courses for $39.95 is an excellent choice with their huge portions and delicious dessert (Creme brûlée cheesecake is delightful!) . He was so attentive and very friendly and overall amazing service from walking to leaving all was taken care off. Food was great and such a relax setting on a Sunday before work begins. Okay I thought when I booked that this was like a nice-ish chain place. Y'all I was wrong and knew it from the second we walked in. The decor and vibe are very upscale steakhouse. The staff we interacted with were all incredible but our waitress was one of the best ever. She had incredible recommendations and just was the nicest person. She really made the experience. Now the food. First bite my husband looked at me and said uh-oh this is gonna be a regular place now. We had the shrimp appetizer, the tomahawk pork chop, the Cajun ribeye, and the brulee cheesecake. Everything was epic- so well prepared, taste on point and presentation was amazing. The cocktails were delicious and fresh shaken table side martinis will always be a win. Check this place out. My husband and I, along with our married couple besties, visited Firebirds Wood Fired Grill last night and had the BEST experience! We arrived around 9:50 p.m., even though they close at 11:00, and not once did we feel rushed. The staff was incredibly welcoming, patient, and kind from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing! My husband had a perfectly cooked, juicy steak, and I ordered the lobster fondue salmon and it was so flavorful and literally melted in my mouth. Every bite was delicious! They also made my husband's birthday extra special by surprising him with a beautifully presented cheesecake dessert. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made the night memorable. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. 1 year later I have returned with my family and I was so surprised that nothing has changed! Amazing food and superior service! Our server, Aria, was the absolute sweetest and so great. We decided to try Firebird for the first time as i heard it was good. I made a reservation online so I didn't have to wait for a table like a peasant! We sat at the bar when we arrived and the bartender never came to offer a drink or service but this was the only negative to the visit. Our seat opened up after a short wait and off to our seat. Maxx was our server for the night and he gave outstanding service and was helpful attentive and very personable and took the time to have a conversation with us. For dinner, we silent with the seasonal menu of Firebirds Roasted Chicken with a Citrus honey glaze on the roasted bone-in chicken and broccoli. The second entree Steak Frites*l with arugula salad and Parmesan fries. The salad and the fries were really good as well as the steak. The steaks were cooked well and flavorful but seemed to be a low quality of beef. The meat was not very tender. I had the honey garlic chicken. It was flavorful but extremely over cooked and dry. It was very hard to cut and chew. The carrots were yummy, though. We tried the lemon and chocolate cake for dessert. They were both good. We really loved the chocolate cake...so good!! Service could be much better. I went as part of a large group this evening and several of us were very disappointed. My food didn't come out as expected. I ordered it sans bacon yet it showed up with thick slices of the stuff. Then they brought it back after just removing the bacon. I selected the first thing at the top of their specialty menu, I figure they are called FireBirds, so their roasted Chicken should be good. Unfortunately, the chicken was mostly evicerated. The top skin was burnt, and the meat underneath in some places was so overcooked that I could not pull it from the bone. The tater tots had so much salt on them that I could have given a days salt lick supply to my dog. The mashed potatoes were, mostly indescribable - I'll try. The mashed potatoes looked like they were under a heat lamp for some period of time, and yet they were really bland, yet dry tasting. Don't think I got off so easy, my server Alexis brought out bread with what looked like mold. She was gone so long that my meal had arrived before I could tell her about it. I had to ask her to bring silverware when she came back, given how bad the meal was, possibly she was doing me a favor. My tea virtually ran out while I choked my meal down. I asked for my bill from a new guy that arrived at the bar and threw down $40 on my $32.15 tab. So, a 24.4% tip. It looked like shift change time, possibly the service and cooks do better later in the evening. read more

We dined around noon on Saturday. Only 3 tables were full when seated. It took several minutes for a waitress to come over and get our drink order. The iced tea was entirely too strong and was highly disappointing. My mom and it both did the Perfect Pair option. I did salad/burger and she did Mac and cheese/burger. I sent my burger back as it was undercooked. My mom's Mac and cheese was cold. The stater bread was delicious and so were the tater tots. We had crème brûlée cheesecake and it was amazing. It wasn't too busy at the time but people started arriving shortly after we were seated. The restaurant is fairly dim lighting but was enough. There are a few tvs around and they had a bar. Our server came by and explained the menu and options. We started with the lobster queso I believe it was based on his recommendation. It was really good. Recently went for a private party and it was really nice. I can't give you a review on a regular restaurant experience but I can tell you how they treated our large party of ~30 people! The staff was extremely friendly and I felt like they were around a lot. There was some wait for our food because it was super busy that night (it was a Saturday night). Our set course was the lobster spinach queso appetizer, caesar salad, prime rib/salmon/chicken and chocolate cake for dessert. I enjoyed my salmon immensely! It was cooked perfectly and it was a very generous portion. There seemed to be an issue with the prime rib being a bit undercooked (it looked a bit raw for medium) for people's preference but I think the manager(?) came in to apologize and took some back to the kitchen. I think that was super impressive as they were extremely busy. The If you're looking to host a big party I would totally recommend this place! Our servers were attentive but not hovering. We ordered the lobster queso and Philly eggrolls. My daughter had the Hot honey chicken sandwich, my son, ordered the sirloin. my husband and I split the three course with salmon and shrimp for our entree. my husband had bariatric surgery. he and I often share an entree when we dine out. We eat at Firebirds once every five or six weeks. The staff splits the entree in the kitchen and never hassles us about splitting the entrees. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the staff went above and beyond to make our celebration special. read more
