Ordered take out for dinner at work and this is the second time getting food from there. You have to order the meat more undercooked than usual as the time it has to rest and sit is much higher than sitting at the restaurant. the first time i asked for a medium rare they gave me well well done. the second time i asked for rare it came out to be a medium more on the medium rare side. The steak is extremely salty so i will need to ask next time our work orders from them to lower the salt content. The ribs were a bit dry but the chili and rice was fine. For some reason they don't provide the cinnamon butter for large to go orders. because both times we didn't get any. read more

I've been coming to this location for years, the experience has always been good, extremely consistent, no real negative experiences to speak of. That said, the reason I am writing this review, is because of the far above average service that me and my buddies get from Ted. He's always happy to see us, and honestly has never made a single mistake on one of our orders. He goes far above the norm as far as customer service goes, and we've always left feeling above satisfied with our meals and the customer service we were provided. Worst experience here ever. Staff doesn't know what thy are doing. Had a large patty of 15 and get split between 3 tables which was fine. Host said we would have two severs helping us. One finally shows up to take all our drink orders only 1/2 hour later back with drinks and tells us he will be right back to take our order. Watch him take orders from 2 other tables before ours. At this point got a manager involved. Finally get all our orders in. My med rare steak was well done not even a hint of pink in the middle. I send it back and after being here for over 2 hours gave up and just told them to cancel it all together and get me a check. That also took over 1/2 hour when the manager said he wasn't going to charge me for the steak it was still on my bill. Basically if you want to wait a long time for service and have no food or drinks. Then have your food not come out correctly and errors on you bill go here. read more

After visiting Texas Roadhouse, it is easy to see why Texas has an obesity problem. The food here is quite Rick and even more delicious. From the sweet rolls to the entrees to the desserts, they know what they are doing. I went here for the first time for graduation, and I got the pulled pork. I have been back a few times since and have not changed my order. It is super tender and always delectable. I would suggest going earlier in the day, as the nighttime crowd can be quite loud. You also will probably have to wait a bit longer if you go at night. It is just the nature of the beast. read more

My first eating experience in the USA was regretfully a disappointment. The atmosphere and service was a 5 star - absolutely. The food though, and that is why i was there - to eat, was mediocre at best. I ordered an all-american burger and the bun was stale, the meat not well cooked, and it was just generally poor. I had a terrible experience at Texas Roadhouse August 22nd, my daughters birthday. The family converged on the Roadhouse at ~6 PM from several different points in the city. Five of us where there expecting 2 more to arrive within 10 min. The hostess said she had a table, but could not seat us until everyone arrived. Of course, after 10 minutes, our party arrived but they gave our table to someone else. After 45 minutes of waiting, we still did not have a table. This is frankly a horrible seating policy and for that reason, I will never take my family there again. We arrived early so we could get a table before the rush, but they prefer to make you wait anyways, however waiting is not on my agenda and neither is the Roadhouse. I usually don't rate places unless they were over the top phenomenal or absolutely terrible. My husband and I took our family here tonight and ended up waiting longer than we should have for our food to be prepared. The manager (I wish I would have caught his name!) came over to our table before we said anything and explained the delay and said he'd take half off our entire tab. The food arrived at our table minutes later and the manager came back again... this time to make sure the food was okay and to tell us he ended up covering the entire tab! Not only did it make our night, but turned a really tough week into ending on a positive note. I don't think that manager realized the impact he left on not only my husband and I, but our 3 kids as well. GREAT customer service will keep us coming back to this busy location. Specifically one of the younger male managers, I can't recall his name, maybe Mike? He has ALWAYS been genuinely friendly. Last time there was an unappetizing problem with my boyfriends steak (the steak had clearly come from a very sick cow). It was disgusting and made me happy to be vegetarian! Anyway, the manager happened to notice the struggle my guy was having and rushed over to address the problem then fixed it promptly. After a few minutes a much nicer replacement steak arrived along with the manager. He made sure we were all happy and willingly offered to comp the meal, which wasn't even necessary. I could sum this review up in one pun, Texas Roll House. The rolls are amazing, especially with that incredible honey butter or whatever it is, love that. But, as for everything else on the menu, whatever you get will be fine (sigh*, maybe even less than five). But this all is probably personal taste. I have been to multiple locations and they all seem to be consistently good. If you want a good steak for a good price- this is your place. As many people know, the rolls and cinnamon butter are the star of the show. My goodness- if I could have those for every meal of the day, I just might. Went on a Friday night. We called ahead to get a number. They said 35-40 minutes. We arrived at 35 minutes, and waited about 10 minutes for our number to be called, so not bad. However, the waiting area was packed shoulder-to-shoulder - very uncomfortable, and so loud you couldn't talk to the person next to you. I would highly recommend not going at a peak time! That said, the steaks were fantastic and cooked perfectly. Great salad and bread. The service was prompt and efficient. Negatives - beware and read the menu carefully. They add on charges and the waitress purposely made it seem like these items were included. She asked and knew it was our first time there. For instance, she told my husband after he ordered his steak - "we put mushrooms and onions on our steaks here - is that okay?" Did not give any indication that this was an extra $1.99 - just the opposite. For my baked potato, she asked "butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon okay?" Again, not saying that to order a potato "loaded" was an extra charge, even though a baked potato is a free side item for a steak. These charges are on the menu, but it's fairly dark in the restaurant and the print is small. Also beware that this restaurant is really loud - at least when it is full on a weekend evening. It was difficult to have a conversation across the table. Last - it was unbelievably cold at our table. The place was packed, but we had to keep our coats on. For my husband, that is extremely unusual. We did mention it to the manager, and it got better eventually. Maybe the line dancing waitstaff turned it down to make themselves more comfortable. And yes, they do line dances periodically. :-) Overall, great food at a reasonable price, and we'll go back for that. read more

Coming from Seattle, WA., I fell lucky to experience a great meal and an excellent service from both Leslie our waitress for the night and Dave the manager at this location. The Re-bye, Prime and Ribs with side salads and drinks were excellent. Additionally, the friendliness of the staff and table service was beyond expectations. Thank you! Dinner with siblings, party of six. Seated immediately at 5:45pm on a Monday night. Extra large booth with plenty of room. Waiter was at our table immediately with rolls and drinks served quickly. His high level of attention to our needs continued through the entire meal. Food served fast, was hot and fresh. Steaks excellent. A few comments about the tasty sweet potatoes. Portions ample. The only downside was the noise. Oh my!! The background music was very loud, thus everyone around us, and including us, had to talk unusually loud to communicate. Then the music would start to increase just before a line dance by the servers. At this point I wanted to scream it was so noisy. With this I am giving four stars instead of five. Some may not mind the noise and everything elapse was great. Because of the level of noise alone, I likely won't be back as I prefer a more calm and quiet atmosphere for dining. read more

Went to the Sandy location for the early bird special. The salad was awesome. The Top Sirloin steak was awful, tough and stringy. The sweet potato was undercooked. Here's the deal -- Texas Roadhouse is a chain restaurant and is nothing to rave about. However, the food is good but it's also just very safe. If you're looking for a place to go with a big group and any member of the group is picky, this is the place for you because you can go wrong with chicken fingers or baked potatoes. The environment is fun (but VERY loud) and the service was quick and very friendly. My favorite meal is the chicken critter dinner and if you go before 6:00 PM, you can get good bang for your buck with their early dinner specials. Load up on the rolls (the best thing you'll try there) and upgrade your sweet potato side to the loaded sweet potato -- that is one menu item I'll rave about. Will eat here again it's just never on the top of my list. read more

We went here hoping to have a good steak and some relaxation. We waited for the 45 minutes we were quoted and checked with the desk. They said our names fell off the list. When we were finally seated and received our food my ribeye steak came out very rare. I love a good steak and can even enjoy them rare...but this was well beyond my limits. Second steak came out 20 minutes later and was exactly the same. My wife was done eating at this point so I declined the steak altogether. They removed it from our bill but didn't try to do anything else to make up for it. We will not be returning. read more

It's weekend tradition for me and my boyfriend to get food to go and come home and watch the game or a movie, we can always Count on them getting our order correct, and the food is delicious.
