Took my wife and kids to this restaurant. It was my wife's birthday and first time eating here. Everyone that worked there was super friendly. It was a busy night and we managed to sit down in matter of minutes. Our server was nice and helpful. Since it was our first time, one of the employees gave us a complimentary pull pork and toast. Which was delicious! My wife absolutely loved the house bread. Our entrees took a while but we had plenty of bread and pull pork to keep our hunger in check. Always love the food here but it is classic chain restaurant. Usually pretty packed & it was still pretty busy for a Monday but didn't have a problem getting a table. The drink menu is incredibly outdated. Went through 4 requests off the menu and they didn't have any of them.... Waitress was reading off some paper she had. Didn't know what a specific wine was (don't blame her for that) but they she tried to suggest a wine when she didn't even know what she was talking about... if you don't want to pay to update your menus maybe add it electronically or something. Waitress was nice enough. Manager was nice too. Restaurant was clean. Just don't expect anything special here. Been to other locations but hit this place the first time. Crazy long wait to get a table but since they contact you by phone we just went shopping locally and got back when they called us. Food was good (not amazing but didn't disappoint). Service was very friendly and fast. Cleanliness was lacking. A lot of food and drinks spilled under the table from prior patrons when we sat down. Appetizer plates came out with food from meal stuck to plate. Line dancing waitresses is a waste. Nothing exciting there and aside from one person everyone seems to be just going through motions not very excited about doing it. For the second visit to this restaurant, I have had terrible food and terrible service. My sister and I go to Texas roadhouse about once a week. This is the only location in our area open for lunch. We have had great service and food at all the other locations except this one. This last Friday, we visited around 2:00 PM. Tyson, our server was not attentive at all. He got my order wrong and I had to scrape all the onions off my chicken. I'm allergic to onions. The chicken may as well have been the sole of my shoe. It was so tough. The loaded sweet potato was stringy, and the marshmallows were burned. My sister's food was basically worse. Because we can't eat a lot in one sitting, we always take home leftovers. Usually, the leftovers are just as good as the original meal. Not this time. We had to throw it all out. $50 down the drain- literally. We will never go to this location again and urge the rest of you to stay away as well. I'm very disappointed. read more

Dinner rolls... need i say more? I could go here just to eat basket after basket of freshly baked rolls with honey butter. I feel like I always end up here for birthdays, so somebody in my party is always riding the horse saddle while everyone in the restaurant sings and hollers. So fun! The ambiance is warm and cozy. It can get a little rowdy, so be aware of that. The steaks are great and have been cooked perfectly each time I have been. I've been to this location several times and would definitely say I'd continue to come here based on their service alone. Consistent over the years no matter who I've had or how busy it is. Food is good, I'm random with my choice of protein for the visit - sometimes chicken, sometimes steak, sometimes shrimp. Either way I go, it's good and I'm definitely full by the time I'm done. This is the first mac and cheese I had from here that tasted and looked like Kraft. I was so disappointed at me ordering an adult entree and the mac that shows up with my meal is Kraft from the kids menu. Tbh, if I made it at home, it would have been cheesier since what I got looked like boiled noodles with shredded cheese thrown on there to melt. The Roadie (alcoholic beverage) is no longer on the menu but you can still order it as they have the ingredients to make it. My hopes were low but man did TR exceed my expectations. I had the ribeye and added ribs. Sides were also tasty. Blooming onion was just ok. The wait was long but I would be back. We had a table of 9 and the wait wasn't too bad. The ribeye was cooked medium rare as ordered, I really was impressed. Sweet potato side wasn't too sweet, perfect side for the steak. So my two friends and I wanted to go out for dinner tonight before one of the friends heads home back east. We've not been to. TRH since last summer. She's down, we're down; let's goooo! I got lost using the Yelp navigation and got there a minute late to miss some drama going on with my big friend and the poor teen behind the reception desk. I'm all we don't sit at no booth, we sit at the bar. I got three seats at the bar and were good to go. No drama allowed. We sit, get beers as cold as slurpees and as thirsty as we are they didn't last long... but it's the only beer I had... the iced tee is amazing at TRH too. For appetizers I ordered the skins! It's all bacon bits and melted cheddar. Thank goodness my friends can chow. The plate could feed a family of 4! I ordered the smothered chicken with onions and brown gravy with 1 side being the seasoned rice and a mixed green salad with bleu cheese. I was brought a small bowl of chili. I'm not gonna lie, I ate that beautiful chili with red onions and cheese. Don't judge, it's so good...I think they brought me the chili instead of the rice. With the salad,tater skins, and chili, I had to get the chicken to go... I asked to add the rice but they just gave it to me. It seems that the only time we visit Texas Roadhouse is when someone gives us a gift card. However, we enjoy it so much, we should really go more often. I can't move away from the Prime Rib, it is so tasty and even better with the cream horse radish. As long as they still have some left that night, you should give it a try. I love the spiced butter they have for their rolls, but am careful not to fill up on them because I know what's coming. They serve a ton of food and offer plenty of upgrades like loaded potato toppings, even on your mashed potatoes. The service was great at this location and the manager even stopped by to chat us up. I also recommend the drink, Texas Peach Fuzz. It was really good and not too sweet like most drinks in that category. They also offer a Long Island Iced Tea for $5. Enjoy! read more

My family has come here many times and we usually have a pretty good experience. The differences from visit-to-visit tend to be server attention/professionalism and noise level but in some cases, the main courses are a hit-and-miss. Here is a review of our most recent lunch, broken down for better readability. We were sat very quickly - within 5 minutes - while a table was cleaned. The host(s) are always friendly. It's fun to look over the hand-cut steaks in the nearby display window while we hang out. Our server was friendly, attentive, and consistent, but a bit unprofessional which has really been among the changes with the loss of veteran restaurant staff since Covid. They (yes, intentionally genderless pronoun) sweetly referred to the menus, tables, and other dining components as "the thing" or "things" (lol). Not that this affects the food or other important considerations. :) The complementary rolls and cinnamon butter came right away, which were warm and tender - not sweet like a Hawaiian roll. I love how the butter isn't over-seasoned with the cinnamon and doesn't usurp the butter itself. To me, it's more of a note than an outright flavoring like herbed butter. We ordered the Rattlesnake Bites as an appetizer and I splurged on a Hurricane Margarita (for you folks as well!). The bites are a nice poppable size and smoky, but too rich for my taste (very cheesy) and a bit bland. My husband likes them with the ranch but since I don't like ranch, I'm just not the target market. The margarita was better than I expected. It was not only huge but the flavors were breezy and super pleasant. Sweet, mild, and beachy but not cloying or too boozy. As always, I was appropriately carded and always glad to oblige. I've never seen this missed in a Texas Roadhouse. My son ordered the Chicken Critters kids meal with fries which is always a huge hit. They are seriously some of the best chicken fingers we have at a restaurant chain like this, that isn't Raising Cane's or Chik-Fil-A; just take a peek at the pictures. Thick, fantastic tenderloins (which haven't been overcooked for us) and not the Costco/Sam's Club bagged tenders (no offense guys!) which are more breading than chicken. Man, they're good! He also gets the refillable lemonade. I got a Caesar salad as one of my sides, which are always good. I am a real Caesar salad snob and if any salad isn't excruciatingly fresh, I will not eat it, period. I haven't gotten a bad one yet. I requested the grilled lemon pepper shrimp skewers and my husband got the half rack of ribs. I didn't like the lemon butter sauce and didn't use it at all. It has that acrid, chemical taste of fake butter that announces pre-made and preservative-heavy bottled sauce. The shrimp itself was just ok and very hard to remove from the skewers to eat unless you cut them with a knife. The taste was mild and sweet but after the first few, I started picking up a vague fish-tank taste that I can't tolerate. I only had one skewer in the end and do not recommend them. My husband's ribs were bland, overcooked, and generally disappointing. He didn't finish his. I wish there was more to say on this but...they just weren't worth the money. Finally, we were asked if we wanted boxes and given our check while we were in the middle of eating -which was super awkward- and never asked if we wanted dessert. Honestly, I couldn't wait to leave because we felt so rushed. You may or may not have a good experience since it is so circumstantial, so consider this before you go. **Also, for parents of sensory-sensitive children, the noise level can be too much and there aren't enough seating areas that can block/reduce this if requested. TO-Go orders have been VERY bad quality!! I am writing this because it has happened several times. Steak is always over cooked. I purposely order a large 8-11oz steak in hopes it will be less likely to be overcooked and very dry. We are always there waiting for our order. Therefore it's not sitting on the self for a period of time. The side dishes are skimpy. As if they are aware they don't have to face you in person. They are just thrown into the to-go containers as if they where leftovers. No butter or steak seasoning was added. Photos are of 11oz sirloin cooked medium. We Went to Texas Roadhouse in Riverton last Tuesday. First of all it says it opens at 3 but it did not open till 4. We were the first ones in the door got seated in a decent amount of time. We had to wait quit some time to have our order taken. When our order did get taken we had to wait maybe 45 minutes for our food. People all around were getting their food and leaving before we got ours. Once it did come my meat was cold not even warm. The waitress gave me an idea of some applesauce with marshmallow dish. It was disgusting. The waitress said it wasn't done right. The couple that was with us didn't get what was ordered but kept it because they didn't want to wait again. The waitress was awesome. I forgot to take a picture of my items that I ordered but they were good and reasonable in price. This is the place to get steak so we ordered steak kabob with sweet potato and house salad and rib eye with cesar salad and sweet potato. The sides are good portions and delicious. We like our steak medium rare and kabobs as medium. The kabobs may have been a little over done but not bad. Service was excellent. The waitress was friendly and nice. This is the only chain steakhouse, IMHO, that consistently cooks the steak appropriately to order. My medium rare order is always served to me medium rare. Even a thinner cut steak still comes out medium rare and juicy. My usual order is the ribeye and shrimp, a sweet potato (no caramel or marshmallows for me), and a salad. The one area where they really could use some help is that salad. That's a boring salad. I'd like to see what they could do with it with a little imagination. Service was great tonight. Despite the full establishment, our waiter hustled and our drinks were filled. Tables were bussed as soon as diners left. I will admit that I'm not a fan of chain restaurants. Once we sat down, it took forever to get any bread on our table. Our server, Chelsea, had such a poor attitude towards us and was inattentive while serving us. Brought us our salads and failed to bring us forks/knives like she expected us to eat with our hands? When ordering, I wanted to clarify that the chili had ground beef and not pork (as we are Muslim and don't eat pork) and she kinda rolled her eyes and said it was beef. And their outside heater wasn't working again just like the last two times that I went there. And they made me feel like I wasn't important, because I stated to the manager (two times ago) that the outside heater wasn't working because it was out of propane. And she was being really belligerent about it after I told her, which was the case with why the heater wasn't working that night. read more

I went here with my co-workers. We were supposed to go here around March, but COVID-19 made a bunch of restaurants closed. The restaurant opened and social distancing and face masks were required. I don't think there were any social distancing while we were dining in from what I remembered and everyone took their mask off once we're at our table. I ordered medium-rare steak, topped with mushrooms, and had corn + mashed potatoes as my side. There was blooming onion ordered as well. As you can see, I hate onions, but it was delicious.
