I recommend using website for joining the "call ahead seating". They seemed short staffed. Plenty of empty tables, yet we had to wait 50 minutes for a table at 4:00pm on a Sunday. We were celebrating my granddaughter's 8th birthday. She picked Texas Roadhouse. The server was great! She had 3 large groups and did a terrific job! Wish I could remember her name! Received a rotten sweet potato in our togo order. It was completely inedible and smelled horrible. The salmon was really overcooked and needed tartar sauce to help it go down, but they did not remember the tartar sauce with our order. The salmon also had alot of that brown/grey fat that tastes gross. The cesar salad was fresh and crisp with no slimey or wilted pieces. But paying 20 bucks for a side of Caesar salad-the only edible thing - was a huge disappointment. At least they included the dressing with the salad. I love this chain restaurant and this location is a good one because they have the bar (unlike the ones further south). Hubby and I love getting the chicken and rib combo to share, with a side of two dinner salads and one extra side of a baked potato. Plenty of food and you can get out the door for about $30! Not bad for a nice meal / date night. Steak, prime rib, and all the salads are just as good (their ranch is the bomb). And we always have great service, super fast and friendly. If your going during the dinner rush, make sure you jump online or their app and use the waitlist feature. Let's start off by saying I did enjoy the food! So there's that. The whole experience was absolutely ruined by the teenage host who was extremely unpleasant, and coarse. He was short with us, and seemed to really hate his job. I mean don't most of us? But you suck it up and drive on my man haha! He told a group of 15 of us that we would need to wait outside or in our cars for a 45 minute wait (which we didn't because there was a perfectly good waiting foyer available) which was super inconsiderate and absurd considering we had small children with us. She was awesome (shoutout to you Taylor) and she was extremely pleasant, competent and considerate to all of us and I know that serving 15 people with separate tabs is not easy. My steak was cooked to perfection however, it was cold. The warmest thing on my plate was the corn (which was really good). The only good thing about Texas Roadhouse now is the rolls unfortunately. I guess they got rid of the peanuts because of Americans with peanut allergies. Texas Roadhouse is known quantity and as such I expected good things. I have to say aside from a couple missteps I wasn't disappointed. Started with the cactus blossom and had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and chili. The cactus blossom was hot and well done when it came out. Unlike another place that serve this coughOutbackcough it was actually good. Most places end up with a greasy over or under cooked mess coughOutbackcough, but Texas Roadhouse nailed the execution. The onion was cooked well, the batter light and not at all greasy. The chili had a great flavor with just enough spice. The chicken fried steak was cooked great and again with a light batter that clung to the steak and not at all greasy. Oh and the rolls were as always hot and plentiful with that great compound butter they serve. My only knocks were: The gravy on the chicken fried steak was to salty, no overwhelmingly salty but to salty non the less. The chili, while it came out in a hot bowl was room temp. It wasn't even hot enough to melt the cheese. Service toward the end was lacking a bit as it took a while to clear the table and I never got a refill of my soda despite asking a couple times. All of which is just a question of re-affirming training and paying a little more attention during service. Despite the hiccups I will of course be back because the food is consistently good across all of their stores I've been to. P.S. Yes the wait on Friday night was long, much longer than I'd expected. However, using their app shows the wait time and they do text you when your table is available. When I was told it was available, it was only about a ten minute wait before I was seated. Some people may find this annoying but in reality Texas Roadhouse is a popular restaurant and the wait isn't beyond what you'd see at many places and less than others on a Friday night. read more

This is our second time not having the quality of food Texas Roadhouse use to provide. My husband and I both got the Ft. Worth Ribeye with 2 salads. (This is our typical order) They first came out with 4 salads, after we had asked for them to be split 1 before the meal and one with the meal. Our waitress wasn't really top notch so, I wasn't suprised. Then the steaks came out, and one was a sirloin and the other a Ribeye. Both cooked a beautiful med rare. Once we started eating them we noticed they where heavily coated in beef bullion. I hope this is not a new seasoning. It was horrible. 1st my husband got a cheaper cut of meat, then it was drenched in bullion. He couldn't eat more then a 1/3 of it. We love this place, and recognize that Valentine's isn't the best day to come. However my daughter and I have a tradition of coming here on Valentine's Day since she was little and this is our last time with her being in 12th grade. Call ahead should be honest about what time you will be seated. Everyone here next to use was told to come an hour ago and still have not been seated yet. If there is a none-star, I'll prefer that one. We ordered 8oz medium filet, 16oz medium rare ribeye. We wait for about 35min for the first bread, not taste good as usual. My girlfriend's filet taste like a medium rare, they gave us a new one(second one), the surface of it is over cooked. We received bad experience here. I'm not going to come here again! Just had dinner here. It used to be a go-to for our whole family, but the atmosphere is driving us away. The food isn't bad, especially if you're coming for Steak, but it seems like every time we have dined here over the last 12 months or so the noise level just gets worse. Tonight it was so bad that we couldn't hear the server and she couldn't hear us. Yes, restaurants can get noisy when they're busy, but the base noise level here starts with the music, which is enough by itself to drown out any attempts to carry on a conversation. Add in the diners, who are all trying to be heard over the music, and the cacaphony is horrible. Don't even get me started on the Texas Roadhouse birthday chant. Have not been impressed with this place in awhile. Waited for another 30 minutes after the initial 45 minute wait just to have no one come and tell us what was going on. I've never felt more rushed out of restaurant. The server came up and immediately tried grabbing my plate when there was still a good amount of food on the plate (not okay). We were given boxes without our request a couple minutes after that again not okay. Food is subpar at best, steak was very bland and flavorless. We went last night to have dinner I have not been there for a few months as I moved to another state and it was too far to drive too, I was so disappointed, the rolls aren't even worth eating, after one bite I stopped. They are not the same as they used to be and itis obvious to anyone who loved the original rolls. I do not understand the reason for this, why change something everyone loves and visits your restaurant for? Are they deliberately trying to lose customers? Their service has always been spotty though, sometimes you get ignored other times you get lucky and have someone fill our waters and check up on us routinely. I had the most atrocious experience here tonight with a female African American manager ( I wish I got her name). I placed a drink order with an overwhelmed green server, told me lady she hasn't work there but a couple weeks. She didn't know how to relay it to the bar staff so she sent her manager over to clarify, we wanted two jack and coke doubles, one in a small glass and one in a large. The manager came Over and said my server is all flustered, what is the order I explained and she asked if we were trying to order for someone on their way, we said yes and she became irate and her tone became extremely offensive and said you cannot order for someone who isn't here (my bad) amongst some other comments, said okay my bad we are fine just bring me my drink and can you please speak to me in a different way because I began to get offended by her attitude. She said I don't have a attitude again with her abrasive aggressive tone, so I responded okay just my drink is fine, she then snatched my id out of my hand and spewed at me "please", and stormed off never to return again. I was truly appalled! I have never been so disrespected at a dining establishment in my life! & in regards to something as trivial as a drink order. I would have left and wanted to but I was with a party of 4 passed ten pm and we all traveling for work and very tired so I just swallowed my infuriation and continued our meal. Our actual server really tried and was very kind through the meal, still overwhelmed & there we other mistakes made, but she's new and that's understandable. At the end of our night our neighboring table made convo and let us know they had seen the interaction and were appalled and would be reaching out to the owner Abel himself as they are the gm of the location in Spanish fork and the son of the owner, who also had many issues with their service! So there is definitely such thing as karma and I really appreciated their kindness, they encouraged me to talk to the gm but i was informed that she wasn't working. I hope this review lands on the ears of those who can use it constructively as I hope no one dining has to experience something like this again at this location! Stopped by for lunch today. The place was fairly busy, but service was pretty quick. Our server, Madison, did an excellent job. She was friendly and helpful. The cactus blossom was very good as usual. Probably the best chicken salad I've had at a Texas RH ever. The portion was huge. My partner got the country fried chicken and again a huge portion of deliciousness. My only issue was seating. They could have spread the seating pattern out a bit more. They kept jamming certain sections full leaving no tables in between others. I get it can be more efficient, but even without COVID I don't want to sit on top of everyone else when there are plenty of empty tables 10' away. Again, it's a small issue, the food and service were great. We'll definitely be back. read more

For the life of me, I will never understand how or why this place has an hours long wait every night. We zipped in by sneaking a seat at the full-service bar and munched on the tasty rolls while waiting for our dinner. I got the half rack of ribs, my husband the NY steak cooked to 'warm pink center'. When my ribs came out, they were so dry that I seriously wondered if they had been cooked in the early afternoon and slathered with barbecue sauce to try and hide it. My husband's steak was cooked well- thoroughly brown throughout. What 'steakhouse' can't even cook a steak correctly to order??! The server took 15 minutes to even greet us and she was rude and short with us and totally impatient with my kids. The food was way overpriced. Everything was stale and cold. My steak had very sharp bone fragments all throughout that cut my mouth and the waitress was rude when I mentioned it.
