Texas Roadhouse is located next to Red Lobster on Montgomery Crossroads. It has a private parking lot. They also have pickup to go parking in the front of the restaurant. I generally order online or on the phone. Online is the quickest way to order. But if you want to order one of the family meals(they can only be ordered during a holiday) it has to be done on the phone. This is when you need to be prepared for a wait. It can be trying for your patience, heads up. The food is always good. I am a fan of the kids meal. It is the perfect size for me. But when the family meals are available during a holiday(I wish they were available all the time) I order one. It is a great deal.

Fast, friendly service on a busy Tuesday night. Even the manager stopped by to ask if everything was okay. The food car out quick and it was delicious for a reasonable price.

This is my steak kabobs---so delicious. The potato was coated with salt! I loved that! Also so delicious.

Great service. Our server was so sweet. We were greeted and served so promptly. I ordered the steak kabobs which were delicious. Prices are very reasonable.

They brought over a saddle and sang happy birthday.

The best thing about this restaurant is the consistency. We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday and he wanted a good steak diner, and he got it! Cleared his whole plate! The restaurant was busy, but our waitress was AMAZING!!! I think her name was Tory?!? She was very attentive, incredibly kind, and went out of her way to make my dad smile on his birthday. She even brought out the saddle! She had a smile the entire time we were there--more restaurants need servers with her positive energy!

I had a great experience here, initially the plan was to do take out but once I walked in and saw the hot rolls tempting me under the light I had to dine in. It was 8:35 and they closed at 9:30 but were still happy to take us. The hosts and servers were very nice, but the seats and table top was dirty. They were a bit busy so I just cleaned it myself. Our server was honestly, her only flaw was the lack of napkins. Order: Sweet Tea: PERFECT!! Rattlesnake Bites: Hot and pretty good 1/2 slab of ribs with a Cesar salad and loaded baked potato: the ribs were fall off the bone tender, meaty and had a nice flavor, the Cesar was just okay I should've got my dressing on the side and the baked potatoes was loaded. They cooked the steak perfectly and the shrimp, broccoli and rice were enjoyed. The ONLY downside of this visit was that my seating was ducked off in the corner (which I loved) so the fact that a homeless man walked inside around a couple of corners and approached the table asking for money really disturbed me. My heart dropped because I didn't see him coming and he came so close and talked so low. His smell ruined the whole meal for me so I literally didn't eat anything after the salad.

Championship BBQ…read more After a long day at the beach, we wanted some BBQ with southern sides. Wiley's was close and so good. Pulled pork plate had generous portions. Pork was tender and smoky. Great on its own but even better with their sauce! Great amount of pork on the plate. Potato salad was in my top 3! It was creamy and chunky. It had a garlic butter type taste which was Soo good. A must try. Collards were ok but needed a little more seasoning. I added the spicy BBQ sauce and they were good with that. Others had the smoked wings and the 1/4 chicken platter. Wings naked were really good. Chicken was very juicy and flavorful. Service was quick and attentive. Our server was very polite and kept our glasses full as we chugged them down from beach dehydration. Located in a strip center in Whitemarsh. Don't drive by and miss this great BBQ.

Don't let this scare you away... the good places are always like this!!! We walked in and were immediately greeted and sat at a high-top table. The restaurant was clean and busy. Our server was a younger guy who was in training but you would have easily assumed he was a pro. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and confident when fielding the questions we had about the menu. We ordered a Half Slab portion of their St Louis Cut Ribs platter with fries and mac-and-cheese as a side & the 1/2 Chicken platter with Brunswick Stew and mac-and-cheese as a side. Both proteins were tender and well seasoned. Both were served with a piece of buttered Texas toast. Their original and Better than Sex sauces were great additions to the flavors! The mac-and-cheese was creamy and delicious. Not my favorite Brunswick Stew but it satisfied the craving that I had.

The dining area appeared dirty and had an unpleasant odor that made us question the overall cleanliness of the establishment. When we walked in, no one greeted us or explained how ordering worked. I asked if we should just sit down and order, and the cashier, a heavy-set woman with dark hair and glasses, simply said, "Sit anywhere." A moment later, my daughter asked the same question and was told, "You order here, then sit." It would have been nice if that had been explained to me the first time. Because of the poor service and first impression, I chose not to order anything. My daughter did order, and unfortunately the food was just as disappointing. It was dry, flavorless, and not worth the price. Between the lack of customer service, poor food quality, and concerning cleanliness issues, this was not a good experience. We won't be returning.

I rolled down the windows because I could tell somebody was making BBQ, and the smell made us both perk up. We drove by and said to one another that we should try that sometime, because it smelled amazing, then we made it one street down and both agreed we needed to turn around and try it today. There was free parking at the church across the street, and the second we parked and crossed Waters to check the place out, we were greeted by clouds of decadent-smelling smoke billowing out from the screened porch attached to the building. I told my wife that I hoped we would smell like that smoke all day. The place was packed when we walked in, but it turned out everybody had ordered and was just waiting for their food to come out, so another customer told us to wait by the register, and about 15 minutes later we ordered a large combo plate and were given a ticket with a number to be called out when our food was ready. 10-15 minutes after we ordered, our number was called, and we took our bag (which felt like it weighed 5 lbs) and walked it back to our car across the street. We opened up the container just to get a sample before heading home, and ended up eating nearly the entire meal in the car, trying our best not to spill sauce everywhere but really not caring either way. The combo plate came with two chicken legs, about 3/4 of a rack of pork ribs, a side of baked beans, and two slices of classic white bread. It usually comes with potato salad, too, but neither of us are huge potato salad fans. However, we will try it next time, because I imagine they could put a shoe in a container and it would taste amazing given their cooking skills. The pork ribs were the most tender ribs I've ever had in my life. I've always said that it doesn't matter how easily the meat falls off the bone, but rather how easily it melts in your mouth when you've taken a bite. These ribs melted in your mouth. The chicken was equally delicious. The meat was tender and juicy, and--somehow--there was actually crispy skin on part of it, which had audible crunch when bitten into. The sauce was incredible. You can ask for it to be put on your ribs and chicken, or--like we plan to next time--buy a bottle to go. It's a mix of mustard and vinegar based, which is hands down my favorite. I grew up in upstate SC where you can find both options, but having them all in one was a dream come true. The baked beans were a great, sweet break from the chicken and ribs, and a slice of classic white bread is always great for soaking up extra sauce. I can't recommend this spot enough. Oh, and local, family-owned! We will 1000% be back.
