Table loaded, not just the baked potato.

While it was a cool evening, it seems like a restaurant would strive to have a warm cozy atmosphere. It was freezing in this restaurant, I wore my down coat on my legs to prevent hypothermia. The sheer amount of things they place on your table doesn't leave space for even conversation. Friendly staff, but instead of refilling the water glasses, they simply brought more to complete the jigsaw puzzle that doubled as a table. The sack of peanut bonus that is preloaded on the table was absent on our table. The food was fine, just not special.

The decor is what you would typically expect. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. When I am in the mood for A steak this is my goto.

Unfortunately just had a disappointing experience picking up my to go order. Usually the pickup experience is one of the best in the industry, but today it downright sucked. I walked in to see my order sitting there, rang the bell and waited as almost every staff member walked right by. Noting that it wasn't busy and many people were standing around. I waited quite a while and then rang the bell again. Again I waited. Finally a nice staff member came over and said he would alert the to go guy. The to go guy came up and didn't even look at me or greet me. Finally I was like "hellooo..?" he annoyed said "name?". I then explained I had requested horseradish on my order and he blankly stared at me and asked if it was for my salad..? Then I realized this guy must be new. He annoyed again said "oh..... I guess I'll have to go to the back and get it". Yeah.. he came back with the horseradish and packaged up the bag and didn't even hand it to me or push it towards me.. just left it on the counter. Very very strange interaction. This guy might need some more training. I was shocked at this experience only because every other interaction I've had with staff at Texas Roadhouse has been above and beyond wonderful.

A fun and lively place to have dinner. The food is made fresh and the service is excellent and fast! They greet you with complimentary warm, soft, bread that's delectable with the butter. The steaks are always mouth watering and I love that you get your choice of two sides! My go-tos are the 12oz Ribeye with a side of sweet potatoes and veggies. It's the perfect amount because I like saving half to look forward to as leftovers! The giant, frosty glasses of beer are awesome! Don't forget to grab a free bag of peanuts in the front before you leave :) This is a fun, satisfying steakhouse that we'll definitely be going back to!

Delicious food, even better service! Everything tasted great and came quick. Our server Rachael was fantastic.

First time I did the Family TOGO order it was amazing. $65. I ordered again for my birthday and the salad was a serving for 1. It was missing cheese and croutons (he took it back and this is how it came back) I was mid sentence telling him how disappointed I was and he turned his back and WALKED AWAY. Very rude...

The wait staff seated us right away even though it was busy. The food was great as always. The steak does not need mushrooms or onions as it is excellent on its own. The honey butter and bread are soooo good. It is busy with lots of groups enjoying the food. Great for groups or couples to dine in. I ordered the sirloin with mashed potatoes and green beans.

We've brought countless friends here to try it and it's a heafty feat! You get around 40 to 50 pieces of shrimp, around 10 things of potatoes, six things of corn, and sausage too... it's humongous. You really get your moneys worth! If I'm being honest I haven't tried anything else here but I can assume it's equally amazing! I'm really looking forward to coming back here in the summer and enjoying this on their outdoor patio. But so far really love mallards and will always recommend it as it go to spot for anything seafood related! At our most recent stop our waiter was kind gave us lots of recommendations and was quick to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything throughout our entire experience. This goes for each time we've been here, the service has always been wonderful. I find it this location really unique and it sits on upscale while also being able to be casual. Thank you Mallards for a wonderful time!

The best thing I ate was the bang bang shrimp taco. Got it during happy hour. Shrimp was crispy and saucy. Had a nice lil spice to it. The crab cake was thin but still good. my son enjoyed his smash burger, the Tennessee spicy chicken sandwich was good but a little dry. Cajun shrimp with creamy corn risotto was ok, was t expecting so much risotto. The shrimp was cooked to perfection but risotto was a big too heavy. The jambalaya was lacking flavor and spice.

He ordered the Bone-in Chargrilled Ribeye with creamed spinach and dug in so quickly I didn't get a snap. I had the most amazingly delicious lamb chops I've ever eaten also with creamed spinach. Don't get me wrong, all the sides are tasty but their creamed spinach is my favorite. The char on the lamb chops was perfect, crusty and packed with so much flavor the mint chimichurri was unnecessary. I ended up bringing one chop and two bones home because I do not gnaw bones in public! :D The chops were cooked to a nice mid-rare and they were very juicy; definitely made me mumble OMG at my first bite. For dessert qRC was brought a birthday brownie slice with whipped cream and a candle. I had the Door County Cherry pie and the house-made pie crust finished with sugar crystals was so satisfying. Not too sweet and a nicely tart cherry filling made it delectable. Our server was excellent, never intrusive but always checking in and filling water or clearing plates. I'm mad I don't recall his name!

We started with the calamari and my wife ordered the lamb porterhouse chops while I went with the oven roasted lump crab cakes. I had a Tito's cranberry to go with everything and the food and drinks were all really good. The only thing that didn't work for me was the broccoli. The lemon vinaigrette just didn't blend well with it. Outside of that everything was solid. Karen took great care of us and the manager even stopped by to check on us which I always appreciate even when you know they're busy. The main gal that's at the hostess stand was friendly, the restaurant was clean, busy, and had a good vibe. It was a little tight getting to the bathroom but nothing major. Other than the broccoli this was pretty much a perfect visit and Karen really made the night wonderful.

This place does get busy so definitely keep that in mind. Luckily I made reservations ahead of time so we had a table waiting for us, otherwise we would have been put on a waiting list since it's a small space. They put us in a corner booth which was nice and spacious enough for 4 people so I'd definitely recommend asking for a booth verse a table if you're planning to come with a larger group. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. I appreciated their attentiveness and sharing what they like best, especially for what's in season based on the time of year. The menu has quite a bit of variety too which is sometimes unexpected when you come to a pub-style location. For appetizers we got Onion Ring and Fried Pickles. They were both really good and served with dipping sauces. Definitely both shareable items so if you're in a group they'd be great options! My entree I chose the Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon served with lemon soy marinade, creamy cucumbers, and jasmine rice -- it was SO good!! I loved the creaminess of the cucumbers especially with the rice and than the lemon soy marinade was just a unique touch to the salmon. Toned the flavors down without overpowering acidity. And the salmon was so dreamy, a beautiful pink color that you just knew it wasn't a farm raised salmon. Plus the portion was very generous!! I'd definitely recommend the Alaskan Sockeye Salmon to anyone interested in visiting here. #eatwildsavewild The only negatives (which are more so just knowledge bombs for you): * Restaurant is VERY loud. It's hard to hear because it is one small room that everyone plus the bar is in. I wished I would have took a picture to show what I mean. Just know that if it's an intimate setting you're looking for this is not the place. So be prepared to talk loudly over the loudness and ask "excuse me?" or "repeat that" many times throughout your visit because you're not going to hear everything. * Timed eating. Because this place is a hit with limited seating, once you get a table and complete your meal/payment you'll kindly be asked to leave so that they can clean up and open the table to next in line. Totally get that and am not put off by this at all, but I could see how it could catch some folks off guard especially if you are out for a meal with folks you may not see frequently-- so just keep that in mind. This is not the place to sit and talk post meal. * Parking is limited. Be prepared to walk a few blocks as the road parking in front of the business is pretty limited especially with the other stores and restaurants in the area. Regardless of those few bullets I highly recommend folks visit George & The Dragon. It's a really cool spot and the food was great! Plus theirs a malt shop right next door that looks yummy too, so definitely worth visiting and getting malts after for dessert.
