After flying into Minneapolis, my coworker suggested Wildfire for dinner, and it turned out to be a great choice. We arrived straight from the airport with our carry-on luggage, and the staff kindly took our suitcases and stored them at the coat check while we ate. It was a thoughtful touch that made the experience much more comfortable. The restaurant has a classic steakhouse vibe that's upscale without feeling stuffy or pretentious. It struck a nice balance between polished and comfortable. We were seated promptly, and our server was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I can't remember her name, but she did an excellent job throughout the meal. At her recommendation, we started with the Summer Heirloom Tomato Salad ($16.95), made with heirloom tomatoes, arugula, goat cheese, pesto, and balsamic vinaigrette. It was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. For my entrée, I asked for another recommendation and ordered the Blackened New York Strip Steak Sandwich ($28.95), served with arugula, tomatoes, white cheddar, ancho mayo, and a side of fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, the sandwich was packed with flavor, and the fries were crisp and delicious. It was exactly what I was in the mood for after a day of travel. My colleague ordered one of the fish entrées and thoroughly enjoyed it as well, so we both left impressed with our meals. The prices were fair for the quality of the food, portions, and service. Yesterday was RC's birthday, so I took him to Waildfire, always a favorite. I reserved a booth in the bar because I love the quiet and the decor. He ordered the Bone-in Chargrilled Ribeye with creamed spinach and dug in so quickly I didn't get a snap. I had the most amazingly delicious lamb chops I've ever eaten also with creamed spinach. Don't get me wrong, all the sides are tasty but their creamed spinach is my favorite. The char on the lamb chops was perfect, crusty and packed with so much flavor the mint chimichurri was unnecessary. I ended up bringing one chop and two bones home because I do not gnaw bones in public! :D The chops were cooked to a nice mid-rare and they were very juicy; definitely made me mumble OMG at my first bite. For dessert qRC was brought a birthday brownie slice with whipped cream and a candle. I had the Door County Cherry pie and the house-made pie crust finished with sugar crystals was so satisfying. Not too sweet and a nicely tart cherry filling made it delectable. Our server was excellent, never intrusive but always checking in and filling water or clearing plates. I took my wife out for a dinner date at Wildfire and we had a great experience. Our server Karen was honestly a treat the whole night. We started with the calamari and my wife ordered the lamb porterhouse chops while I went with the oven roasted lump crab cakes. I had a Tito's cranberry to go with everything and the food and drinks were all really good. The only thing that didn't work for me was the broccoli. The lemon vinaigrette just didn't blend well with it. Outside of that everything was solid. Karen took great care of us and the manager even stopped by to check on us which I always appreciate even when you know they're busy. The main gal that's at the hostess stand was friendly, the restaurant was clean, busy, and had a good vibe. It was a little tight getting to the bathroom but nothing major. This was our first visit and certainly not our last. They give complimentary onion bread to start. Cocktails were great, reasonably priced and plenty strong. For apps we had the French onion soup and baked goat cheese and both were fantastic. The goat cheese was creamy and the accompanying bread was great. We shared the filet medallion trio and again, it was fantastic. The horseradish, blue cheese and musbroom crusts were delicious. The mashed potatoes were very good. The au gratin were just ok, kinda bland and barely cooked potatoes. They gave a complimentary brownie for birthday dessert which was a nice touch. Michelle was our server and she was super. She perfectly spaced everything and gave us time to enjoy. Plenty of parking as its part of the mall. We spent an evening here celebrating a birthday and the staff made it feel very special! We were seated right away at a booth in the main dining room area and the atmosphere is your classic steakhouse. Wait staff is in black collared shirts and an apron skirt. The Wildfire Chopped Salad is a MUST to share with the table. The french dip sliders were an elevated take on the classic - the meat was tender and melted in your mouth. The pork chop had a perfect sear and a great portion size, we even took home leftovers! Convenient, but not the kind of steakhouse you crave going back to We were near Eden Prairie looking for a steakhouse for a business dinner and chose this chain for its convenience--not expecting greatness, just hoping for solid. We sat at a high-top in the bar area. Our server was polite and reasonably attentive, which helped. Unfortunately, the food just didn't measure up. My steak was tough, lacked flavor, and was served in a bowl-like dish with so much juice it felt more like beef soup. The bacon-wrapped scallops were tasty but undersized. I come here for one thing, and one thing only: the Wildfire Shopped Salad. Now I'm pretty sure everything else here is yummy (though I heard they took Mac and cheese off their menu and I don't know what kind of chaotic opinion led to that decision), but I LOVE this salad. If you've never had it, you're missing out! It is full of chicken, avo, tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, scallions (that I always ask for on the side), corn, tortilla strips and their iconic citrus lime vinaigrette. wooo. It is amazing. One of my favorite Chicago steakhouses is in Eden Prairie! I was so excited to find this slice of home here. Wildfire is a wonderful, upscale steakhouse - without being too over the top. It's got a very cozy, woody vibe where you can see and smell the woodfired rotisserie right in the back of the restaurant. Our seating was quick for our table of 5, and the servers were really understanding and accommodating since we had a one-year-old with us. Drinks and food all came out quickly, and I loved that the server served us our salad we shared at the table. When it comes to food, you can't go wrong here! In all the years I'd go in Chicago, I don't think I've ever had something bad. The table starts with a basket of delicious onion rolls, it'll be hard not to eat them all before dinner! I highly recommend starting with the Wildfire Chopped Salad, it's deliciously citrusy and flavorful - I've bought a bottle of the dressing to take home before. Everyone I was with fell in love with this salad, and fought over who got to take home the leftovers! For dinner, I went with one of their specials of the Parmesan-Crusted Cod. The fish was perfectly flaky and flavorful with delicious breading (I had the butter sauce on the side, it's definitely an important part of the flavor here!). I thought I was crazy, but I looked around the table and mine was about 1/2 to 2/3rd my colleagues. I have been here twice now and both times not only has every person I came into contact with incredibly kind but the food is AMAZING and perfectly cooked every time. I got the macadamia crusted halibut one night and the parmesan crusted steak another night. You can dress up fancy or show up more casual and still fit in, all around very nice very classy place with the absolute best service. We had a large Chopped Salad (see picture) to share and it was one of the best salads I've eaten - fresh, crunchy and includes avocado and citrus lime vinaigrette dressing. I kind of wanted to make that my meal and eat the whole thing! Once the main course arrived though, I was even more impressed - as the steaks were out of this world! My wife and son ordered the Filet Medalion Trio (see pictures) and I ordered the Basil Hayden's Bourbon Tenderloin Tips (see picture). We shared samples from each dish and they were some of the best steaks I've eaten - so tender and tasty! For dessert we shared a piece of cheesecake - also delicious! Food was fantastic, 8 out of 10. I had the prime rib sandwich. It was perfectly prepared medium rare. Fries were crisp and perfectly seasoned. Service was the reason for the low rating. Waitress only checked with me once after receiving my food. I waited 20 minutes after finishing my meal. I had planned on ordering dessert and a glass of wine but instead just went to the hostess for assistance. They were not particularly busy. Disappointing for this type of restaurant. I can't believe I haven't reviewed it here. I have been here so much. Tonights meal was different than what we have ever gotten, and it was amazing. I did 4 stars as an average as we'd say overall it is about a 4.3. We normally always get the tenderloin as it is hard to get a good steak locally otherwise. Tonight, we changed it up being an early dinner. They hit it out of the park. He loved his Chicken Club sandwich, and he always loves the cottage fries. I got the small ceasar salad with tenderloin and WOW. If you see the pictures, there was a ton of tenderloin, and it was cooked perfectly. We both have new favorites, cannot wait to go back. The service is always good, but we do tend to stay away from weekends here due to busy times. We always make a reservation so we don't have to wait. The only negative they got rid of their happy hour, but a lot of restaurants are doing that. For sure, if you haven't gone here, check it out. There is outdoor seating also in the afternoon sun but covered. Also, they now have gluten-free bread, that is new. I didn't try it, but I will next time being gluten-free. read more

Nestled at the far end of the Eden Center Mall, Wildfire has all the makings of what you'd expect at a classic old school steakhouse from its appearance to the decor. As for the food, it's just a bit touch and go. For starters, the shrimp cocktail (pictured) was a little odd in its presentation. It wasn't anything exceptional from a flavor-standpoint and maybe even a bit on the warm side of the spectrum from a temperature standpoint (not chilled as much as should be). The horseradish-crusted filet was mediocre, as well. The crust might be the wrong word for it as it wasn't really quite a "crust" as much as clumps cooked on top. And while some people might disagree, bacon wrapped around a steak isn't something that you'll typically find on the best of steaks.. it should really be left at home. With some added salt, it was alright, but definitely fell far short of any reasonable expectation. On the positive side, service was good and friendly albeit a bit slow on the food delivery. read more

We held a group lunch event in the Stardust room here for 26 people. Working with the staff to put together the menu, and the room was easy and straightforward. We had crab cakes, shopped salad, a beautiful big filet, salmon served on a plank and roasted chicken, vegetables and potatoes. Our clients raved and felt lucky to be there. I have been here a few times now, both for work functions but every single time has been fantastic. The ambiance in here is lovely, it has different dining areas which lends itself to be quite a chameleon.. you are able to kind of fit what you are doing based on that, which is fantastic. Also the menu has basically everything you could possibly want. I have gotten the chicken caesar salad here and also the wildfire chopped salad. Both incredible. The chopped salad was a personal favorite, it has a lot of toppings, a nice light dressing and a very great size for what it was. The service is always great too, very nice, friendly, and quick. I haven't been here in a couple years because we felt the food was declining. Last night our server was on it. The calamari was a lil overcooked. Everything else was good . The table ordered a filet, prime rib ( 3 sizes available 10oz, 16 and 22. I would say this is one of my all-time favorite spots in Eden Prairie. It has a darker old-school theming but without being cheesy. I adore their martinis!! Get a flight of them if that's your style it's almost having 4 drinks for the price of one. The wildfire chop salad is a must-have. A small serves 2. My trick is to put the dressing on as you eat the salad that way so if you have to take any to go it will stay fresh and not get soggy from the dressing. Or just get the salad to cater. The chopped salad is my favorite salad anywhere. My husband ordered a New York strip steak. It was full of flavor and enjoyed it. The Wildfire is a great dining experience in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. As I've said before, it's a gem. Their menu is vast, from pizza to filet mignon. The Basil Hayden's Bourbon Tenderloin Tips cooked medium rare are exceptional with a side of creamed spinach and/or their "loaded potato" as is their coconut shrimp entree. The complementary warm onion rolls are hard to resist. The service is excellent, our server Jennifer was tops, super pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive to our group. The ambiance of the restaurant is vibrant as it is busy giving off a party atmosphere and the decor is just right as an upscale steak and chops house. Lots of parking. Having said that, I researched this restaurant for our family Thanksgiving meal and decided to try it. We made reservations more than a month ago for our Thanksgiving meal. We were glad we did as there was a large crowd waiting to be seated for Thanksgiving day dinner. I had made a reservation for 4:15 pm. We were immediately seated for our party of 5. There was a fixed menu for this special day, where we could pick two options from the salad, entree, sides, and deserts. Quite a busy day for the servers but the food was excellent. Our servers were attentive and answered our questions. The beef was tender and the turkey was moist and juicy. Our two deserts (cherry pie and chocolate cake) were scrumptious. Went here for lunch because i was in the area. Really friendly staff and nice lunch options. They had a really nice bar and a decent menu if you want a bigger meal for lunch. The decor reminded me of a Chicago steakhouse. The noise wasn't too bad. I ordered California chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were to die for. Appeared to be hand cut old school fries and they had the best seasoning. The sandwich was a little above average, but what made the whole meal was the service was top notch. I went here for a corporate appreciation dinner. The server went through all of the specials and answered every question before taking our order. I got the ribeye, medium rare. I'm normally very skeptical of steak places because my steak almost always comes out over done or under seasoned. This has been one of a handful of places where I didn't think "I could have made a better one at home" disappointment. All the other tables around us got bread -we did not which was disappointing. I really wanted a refill of water which was impossible to find. We ordered the filet trio which was amazing! The cottage potatoes were great- we were looking for ketchup but took over 20 minutes to find server and get it. I had the ribs and chicken. Ribs were insane good- chicken was just ok!
