They have installed plastic barriers between each of the booths and they are only seating every other booth. My husband and I go fairly regularly. Like twice a month maybe. My husband always gets the rattlesnake bites, a must for him lol. He loves them. We order different each time so over all the quality of food is great. They accommodate my dairy intolerance very well too! Though we had some issues tonight, waited and hour for food due to my salmon falling in the floor before leaving the kitchen and I understand accidents happen no big deal, I won't dock starts for it. Go here every year when we come for the races at Road America. This is year four, last three years were comical....from being seated and waiting for someone to serve us (we waited 20 min and I actually called the restaurant from the table to see if they had a server to wait on us), to food being undercooked and taking for ever to get to us, to last year having a beer dumped all over my head, seriously, it was awesome, a good laugh. Had the bone in ribeye, ordered medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Bartender Taylor was super friendly, and very busy - and she did a great job handling it all. I should've asked for dressing on the side with my Caesar salad, whoever put that together went a little overboard with the amount of dressing. Had a great meal here tonight. Valerie was our server and she checked back on us frequently to see how the meal was going. Steaks were done as we requested and the loaded sweet potato was very tasty. The only complaint I have (no fault of the restaurant) was I could not check into Yelp, as it said that there was no internet connection. This is the second restaurant I've been to that this has happened. I did check into Facebook and connected to the internet, so it must be a problem with the Yelp app. read more

The steak was excellent. The Caesar salad tasted like creamy Parmesan not a Cesar. The service was horrible left all the dishes appetizers everything could hardly move the table. Set us in a timeout place where it was so hot and they said they are condition wasn't keeping up but when you walk 15 feet away it was cool. Stopped for a burger and a beer. Hamburger meat was on the verge of rancid. Took more than 10 minutes to get ketchup & mustard ... Why it was not brought with the burgers? I have no idea! Very good!! The server was very prompt and attentive with service for our group of 10 and 5 being little boys all under the age of 8. The food was pretty good, steak was perfect!!! The sides however were not that great, but then again as a Texan, I don't go to a steak place and order Veggies looking for farm fresh. So glad that we decided to come here. read more

Promptly greeted and seated within moments of walking in which was nice. Our sever, Kaylee I believe, made a great effort in making us feel welcome. Chicken Critters had great portion sizes. It was nice being checked up on frequently. What is there to say. It's a busy chain restaurant that you can't get a table at on a weekend night. Sit at the bar if you can. I will give it props on their delicious buns, salmon, and steak. But honestly, there are so many steak houses in the area that you could find better. Plus all the wait staff is in high school and it's kind of annoying to hear "cotton eye Joe" play every hour. The server was polite and eager to answer any questions the four of us had. My dinner companion and I both ordered an 8oz New York strip medium well. Hers was beautifully cooked and mine was... underwhelming. It was over cooked to the point it took the moisture out of my mouth! I sent it back and received a new steak toward the end of our meal. It again was over cooked far beyond medium well. The manager was disappointed when I cut open the steak to reveal this and offered to again make a new steak. Unfortunately I had to decline because everyone was done eating and boxing up their left overs. My meal was removed from the tab but I am still disappointed. Have been here for 45 minutes and still have yet to get bread, it took 30 minutes to get a waitress to take our order. 10 tables have come in and all have gotten bread. I've been here 5 times in the past, but Friday night was by far the worst service I've ever had! Our reservations were for 5:30, we were seated on time and order taken just 10 minutes later. but that's when the service stopped. No buns were brought, ( we had to ask for them) our food was still not at our table until 25 minutes before7, and there were missing sides! My buttered corn was cold, as was the au jus. The people at the table behind us came in 20 minutes after us and were finished eating and table cleared before our food even arrived! I could understand if we were a large group, but there were only 7 of us! Since I had to be at work by 7, there wasn't even time to enjoy my meal! Very disappointed!!! read more

The one star is for the lack of service received on Sunday evening 6/3. We asked if we could sit at the bar and we're told yes. We then sat there for 10-15 minutes with no acknowledgement from the bartender before walking out to find another place to eat. I understand being busy but at least let your customer know. I'm not sure if this is normal for this particular location but I've never experienced this type of service at a Texas Roadhouse before this. My family decided to go to Texas Roadhouse for my grandmas birthday dinner, my grandmas favorite restaurant. The quality and quantity of the food was great! The buns and cactus blossom were good! I just want to add that with all of the people allergic to peanuts these days you would think the owners of the place would be worried about the liability. I've been to numerous Texas Roadhouse restaurants, in my cross-country travels, and I've come to really appreciate them as roadside oases filled with food, drinks, and friendly faces. They're reasonably priced, for the huge portions and competent preparation. I dare say, their meats are prepared on-par with many of the finer steakhouses I've been to (and I've been to many), but at a fraction of the price of many of them. Their sides are very good, as well. Nothing fancy or pretentious - just good stick-to-your-ribs comfort food. They have lots of drink options, including many beers, a broad array of cocktails, and plenty of options at their well-stocked bar. Best of all, the servers are very friendly and accommodating. When you spend most of the day fighting traffic, it's nice to let the staff take care of you while you relax and eat. Texas Roadhouse is up on my list of consistently-good places to stop, while traveling, and this Sheboygan location has been among my favorite. read more

Let me start out by saying the food here has always been wonderful! The customer service however leaves quite a bit to be desired. On past visits, the wait staff have clustered around and talked about other employees loud enough for my table to hear almost every word, and that's a feat since it's so noisy. My last experience was by phone and may be the final straw for me with Texas Roadhouse. I called to get pricing on catering a company lunch, I placed my call at 4:10 - they were open, but should not have been slammed yet. The young girl that answered the phone had no idea about any pricing or other info and needed to get a manager. After being placed on hold for 6 minutes and 47 seconds (there's a timer on my phone at work), someone finally got on the line and was even more clueless than the first person. When I asked what would be a good time to call back when I might get someone who could help me, I was told "Umm, maybe Friday". REALLY?? There should be a laminated card at every phone station with basic answers if they are allowing everyone to pickup the phone. read more

I pass te Sheboygan one on my way to my U.P. Michigan home. Always want to stop there. I plan to soon. What's with these people who want peanuts gone just because they can't have them - maybe we like peanuts. What next - lactose intolerant won't go because you serve milk? Grow up an just avoid what you can't eat and stop making us manage your problems. As for the Roadhouse - I hear it is excellent from many of my friends and Sheboygan isn't that far from Cedarburg so I will consider it for my normal weekly Dinners out. Reviews appear to be generally positive -I understand sometimes service gets out of wack or a fish gets dropped. No one's perfect. Nice waitresses, clean environment, decent amount of choices. Food was a bit bland and dry. The steak and shrimp combo was overly salty along with the pulled porn only being seasoned with the barbecue sauce on it. Floors are a lot more cleaner from a few years ago where peanut shells would be thrown everywhere, so that's a plus. The appetizers are mediocre. The snakebites tasted odd without the sauce. The fries with cheese and bacon bits topped off on it was not worth ordering, heads up to any future customers. The fries are bland and mushy, along with the cheese and bacon bits not adding much flavor. A little pricy for the other things I ordered, but the restaurant itself is alright. read more
