This was my first time here. Crazy isn't it? There really isn't one close to me, almost everyone I know has been to one. We stopped here because it was on our way home from MS. It was me, my wife and my sister. I even got tingles, because somehow I felt dinner was going to great and I was in the mood for steak. Exterior doesn't send any false pretenses that this isn't a steakhouse. It definitely portrays that aura. Going in, we were greeted by some good ole country music...yeehaww! We were greeted promptly and professionally by the hostesses and quickly led to our table. Our server"thrash", yes. That was the name on the check, was quick to greet us. Get our drink orders. We ordered the fried pickle appetizer, I got the bone in ribeye, my wife got the herb crusted chicken and my sister got the same. Fried pickles were very good. My ribeye was excellent, well cooked and seasoned. Its rare that I don't need to add any salt or pepper to my food, this was one of those rare times. My sides were also well seasoned. Wife and sis enjoyed her chicken meals also. I think I'm more impressed with the service than anything else. They were very busy and our server was still very attentive to our table as well as the other tables she had. Manager even came by and touched tables. Outback is my normal goto place for food like this and I'd have to say, this place was probably ran better and the food was better. I would definitely come back. read more

So disappointing for me and my family that I was meeting for Dinner from Mississippi. I also drove in from Ponchatoula. Something that we like to do with each other once a month at different restaurants. Just happen to be yours this day.We all were set on ordering a nice steak dinner from the displace case.Well that didn't happen. Keep in mind that I have eaten at other Texas Road Houses and definitely wasn't in that kinda shape. Well let's just say the smell wasn't pleasant. The smell of mildew,Hurricane Katrina has been at least 20 years ago .So there's really isn't ant excuse for that.The restrooms were disgusting and needing attention in a bad way.Keep in mind the bathrooms can probably let you know how their Kitchen is looking too. I'm sure the restrooms aren't being checked during service hours. Totally ruined my appetite before I can set down to even oder.Oh be careful when you walk.The grease on the floors ,I'm sure from a greasey mop. Menu's a sloppy wiping on them(wet).Sliver ware were wrapped so neatly but wet,food between the teeth of the forks just yuk.Which I'm sure not soaked in bleach before interning the dishwasher. This is the BEST Texas Roadhouse I've ever tried! Get there early, though. The place fills up fast! We went 20 minutes after they opened, and it was getting crowded. We were at a table in the back that was old and wobbly. We both walked with cane's but still had to take that long walk to the back. I wish they had more tables upfront. The menus we really greasy, and no one was coming to our table, so I thought, "Uh oh, this is going to suck" but no, Tiera came to get our drink order and she was just the sweetest person you ever met! I ordered an Arnold Palmer, forgetting for a moment where I was, and she brought me a sweet tea and lemonade. I asked her to bring me one with unsweetened tea, and she had no problem with it. Then the food came. It was the hottest, freshest, most delicious meal ever from Texas Roadhouse! We had the Texas Blossom, Rattlesnake bites, 16oz. Sirloins with sweet potato and veg. It was all great! Steaks cooked perfectly! We had so much to take home that I didn't have to cook the next day! $21.99, for steak, is amazing these days. Rolls smashed into a clump Condiments missing. Just not the standard we are used to. THEN add, When I phoned and tried to speak to a mgr, I was hung up on. Hadn't even stated why I was calling. Sent a "How'd we do" survey that before we were finished with what could be eaten, EXPIRED, so couldn't submit it. Arianna, our server, was Great & made my girl feel special for her birthday song. Food was delicious although the mac n cheese isn't the best to be had anywhere. Other sides are great. Arianna took her time with our orders & made sure everything was perfect even though my friends and I, as servers ourselves, could tell it was a busy night and she was under some pressure from a [manager]? and had a lot of tables to serve at once. (Manager had an attitude with us as well the only negative experience we had was her trying to "help" our server with our drink orders) so we applaud our server for doing a great job. Wrote this to corporate. I took my 3 year old son to grab a bite to eat. Everything was going well initially, until after we had our appetizer. I ordered a Jr chicken tender for him and some boneless wings for myself. My food came and we waited for my son's food. After nearly 20 mins I asked about his food and was informed by the waiter (who never gave their name) that they weren't aware we were waiting. I let my son eat my food and informed the waiter that I won't be needing his food, because he had already eaten my food. At this point the waiter brings me my son's food (which he didn't eat). Which now I'm just ready to leave so I don't say anything. I box my son's plate and wait for my to-go order. The waiter brings the order and I asked them for a bag. I was informed that all the bags belonged to "Take Out" and I couldn't get a bag for my 3 plates. Now I'm lugging a tower of food and a 3 year old kid through a busy restaurant. I stopped at the to-go window to ask for a bag. The young man appeared confused and asked me if my food had been handed to me this way. I said yes and he gave me a look as if to say "this isn't right" and he happily bagged my food for me. The whole purpose for my email is just to express the level of discomfort I felt. I received a groovy gift card to this place and so ventured over there for lunch. Full disclosure: I don't normally write reviews on chain restaurants because. However it was a free meal so I broke my rule. I bellied up to the bar and was welcomed by Drea - who was an excellent bartender/server/human - and she got me set up and within moments my drink arrived, my water, hot bread and a side salad with the really GOOD croutons that you just want to eat a whole bag of. And then out came the Ribeye, 10oz, cooked medium with a side of not-just-green-beans that were very tasty. But the ribeye. Wait, let me capitalize that: The Ribeye. I don't know if it was the time of day, my level of starvation, global warming or solar flares - but all the stars lined up and I was served this ribeye that was perfectly cooked - tender, juicy, not over seasoned - it was just a moment of Carnivorous Nirvana. Apologies to Vegans everywhere. Sort of. Because I would definitely do this again. Seriously - I was not expecting what I received. Haven't heard a good steak in a while with all this coronavirus stuff going around so we called up Texas Roadhouse and made an order to go. We ordered it on our way from across town and was told it would be about 30 min. They sent a text and we paid over the phone. We got there in about 10-15 min and pulled in a spot. The sign said text our spot number to the number so we did and our food came straight out. It was cooked to perfection as we liked. We went to the location in Slidell. The food was absolutely fantastic. But the service was even better. Our food arrived hot, and fresh. The waitress was excellent and took really good care of all of us at our table. I appreciate the fact that we were treated with such care, and it made our experience one that we will never forget. Best chain Steakhouse in the game! I arrived at 4pm (when they open) and was greeted by the host and manager. The restaurant was clean and there were already so many people waiting to be seated. We were seated and attended to quickly though. Our waitress who's name I can not remember unfortunately, was the sweetest and very attentive. We were given fresh complimentary bread and cinnamon butter when we sat down, which was amazing! We ordered the Blossom Onion as an appetizer. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I didn't care for the sauce much but the onion was great on its own. I ordered the beef tips with mashed potatoes and buttered corn. The beef was very tender and the mashed potatoes were to die for. Loved the mushrooms and onions on the beef tips. Would definitely order it again! Husband ordered the steak which he said was really good. How can I not give this place anything but 5 stars! I travel the Country in a car hauler and eat many places, this is probably the best ribeye steak that I have ever had! Cooked medium to perfection! The beer had small ice particles in it which was needed as it was 90 degrees outside. I had a Cesar salad and chili. Excellent!!! To top it off Drea gave me the most excellent service attending to all of my needs! She is one of this restaurant's greatest assets! The hostess wouldn't seat our party of 13 even though it was only 4PM since everyone wasn't there yet. We traveled from Alexandria for a high school basketball game so we were in different cars. Food and customer service was great from our waitress. We had two managers visit our table to check on my daughter and I that were very nice and also provided outstanding customer service, the third manager with blonde hair and wore glasses never acknowledged us not once and we were there for at a minimum of 1.5 hrs. I continuously watched her to see if she would visit a table with African Americans and never once did but she made it a priority to check on all tables with Caucasian guest. I was a waitress for 3 years and never did I not visit a table because of anyone's race. She obviously has an issue with African Americans, I brought this up to one of the managers and she tried to make an excuse for her as she should. I know exactly what I saw and this is not how it should be when you're working with the public. To that manager even though I didn't say anything directly to you your actions didn't go unnoticed.
