The only complaint was the waitlist which can be kind of confusing, considering even if you're "on it" early, you still don't get seated when your whole party is there. It was okay though, it's busy & I get that! The teas were good, the vibes were POPPIN and I really appreciate all the effort our waiter put in! Went here for my friend's birthday today, the server (don't remember his name, think it may of been something with a J like Josh??) was extremely nice and patient while serving 9 people at our table alone. He kept those amazing rolls and sides of butter flowing, was on top of refills, etc. The place was pretty packed, yet this may be the fastest I've ever gotten food when ordering at a Texas Roadhouse. When it comes to consistency, I am always pleased with this location! I always order the exact same thing, so don't quote me on any other menu items... I just know my order is always perfect! Great food perfectly cooked a medium rare. The attention was good our server was attentive to all we asked for no cheese, no croutons but add raw onions. Everything we wanted to order was available which seems hard for other restaurants. We also feel the prices were fair during the way our economy seem to be heading down hill. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Hubby, the kids and I have come to this location multiple times at different hours of the day. We are always seated promptly and always with a smile. The servers have always told us the specials up front and drinks are always brought out quickly. I have never had to ask for a drink refill, which is an A+ in my book. This is a review of Texas Roadhouse in Stow, Oh. Maybe my expectations are too high, but our last experience here left a lot to be desired. We thought we chose an un-busy time, around 3:30pm. We did not have to wait, so that was a plus. But - First, the seating area was dirty looking ( grease spots on window treatments, table and floor not clean). Second, not all employees were masked, and i hoped they would be since working with food, etc. (an unmasked busser sneezed while cleaning the table next to us, ugh) Third, we both ordered filets mignon, which is usually a safe bet for steak anywhere, but - mine (ordered med-well) had tons of indigestible gristle. Also, the menu description didn't match what i received (menu said "on a bed of seasoned rice", well , there was no rice). Basically i wasn't sure i actually got what i ordered. Had a gift card and decided to pop in for dinner. It was very busy, noisy and appeared clean. Other than the younger host having a disagreement with an older slow moving waitress about seating us, it was a good experience. I haven't been to Roadhouse in years and I hated that alone. But to see once I got there that they've changed their menu. Is so upsetting had my mouth all set for a steak with a half a chicken with two or three sides. As you can read yeah I'm into food porn. So imagine the disappointment when my favorite meal has been taken off and replaced with boneless chicken. Im savage that way my meat need originality. The service was ok as well my waiter didnt know her menu my husband and i dont like pork lips that touch swine could not ever touch mine cause im so divine. Lol im silly but any who the gravy on my man mash was chicken and pork based so guess who was on the toilet all night and morning only from one to two fork fulls. My daughter 14 asked for a steak medium well we're not the type to send food back having been in food kitchen industry mofos in the kitchen can be foul on complaints. So we just dealt. Well cleaning for covid 19 is over - got seated at a dirty table which then go cleaned with spray and a dirty rag that was siting in a bucket of dirty water. No hand cleaner in the container by our station, waiter went to use it and it's empty, I glad to see the waiter was at least going to use it. Ask the manager to please fill hand cleaner and she totally blue me off....never filled. Sunday June 13th 4:00 pm. Okay..so..I ordered takeout to be picked up at 4:45. My daughter got there at 4:40 and checked in. At 5:00, still no food. At 5:05 I received a text saying that our food was ready. At 5:15, still no food. I called several times and no one answered and so did my daughter. Finally at 5:20 someone answered, our food had been ready and no one brought it to us! We had ordered a dozen extra rolls to be added to our order and instead of saying..NO CHARGE..they charged us after a 40 minute wait! Deplorable! Steaks were cold and had no flavor, baked potato was cold and disgusting. The only good thing were the rolls. We should have had a free meal. Management used to be terrific, what happened. Get it home. All 4 sides are missing. Call spend 8 minutes on hold. Someone tells me they will call me back. No call. Well, wasn't sure what to expect, had not been to one of these before! Steak was excellent, prepared perfectly (I am a Medium Rare guy). Yeast rolls were OMG delicious, side of a baked potato, done perfectly, nice soft and hot, this meal was a real treat. Pros: 1. Great steak 2. Reasonably priced 3. Great service 4. Great sides 5. The food here is really good, especially for the price, I was really surprised when I got my bill how inexpensive it was. My server was really nice and explained the menu to my friend and I since it was our first time there. The reason I'm giving it only four stars is because this location was VERY busy on a Thursday night. There were people everywhere in the lobby and in the aisles and every table was filled. There are partitions in between the booths it just seemed very crazy how many people were there considering the whole covid situation. I've gone to this specific Texas Roadhouse a couple of times. I always order out because I like sitting at my kitchen table despite enjoying someone else cooking. The service is pretty fast with a separate entrance for take out and they go through the bag with you to ensure everything is there. I've never seen them miss something yet. The Ft. Fairly standard Texas Roadhouse experience with delicious food and bustling energy inside. Personally, have no complaints. That said, I did notice some things in comparison to previous experiences at other branches that docks points for review. First off, cooking quality; Along with someone I was eating with, I saw atleast 3 tables near me dissatisfied with the cooking (i.e. well done looks like medium, etc.). The issue seemed to be not cooked enough rather then cooking conservatively. Personally, I asked for a medium rare and got a pretty deep red inside. While it tasted great in the end so I don't mind, if you're a stickler for customization that might get you. Service is also a tad slower then I'm used to (even though there are more workers and less customers then the average Texas Roadhouse experience). I think it took about 35-40 minutes for a replacement dish for the person I was with. However, given those cons-- the actual workers were very kind and understanding. In my opinion they were pretty faint -- in the sense that they don't bother you every 2 seconds, but are quiet and diligent in the sense that they're quick to notice if you're low on bread or water. Most importantly, they did not take a painful amount of time to circle back with what you requested. We ate until closing time, but weren't pressed by staff at all. It could have easily been a bland experience, no bells and whistles, but given the cons I think the workers were caring enough to make up for it. Generally though-- I think I might be holding them to a higher standard then I would with most restaurants as I've always had an amiable experience. I'm honestly happy I didn't have to wait 2 hours like I had to last time I went (pre-pandemic). Truly, Texas Roadhouse doesn't disappoint. read more

This place is fine if you just need somewhere to keep the kids entertained for an hour. It's a slightly above average chain that keeps a good mix of reheating frozen foods and presenting decent steaks. We found their booths towards the south windows to be entirely too small for an average size family of four wearing jackets. Add to the table the public feces peanut bin, and the peanut shell/garbage pail, plus bread and bread plates and there's no room to function. Our latest server was pleasant, good with refills and didn't hesitate to grab the balloon making man for our children. Their margarita was served entirely too cold and it took forever to thaw. The food is average and what you'd expect of Roadhouse, no problems and everything was to our liking. Their bread rolls are sweet buttered and addictive. The facilities were clean and we didn't have to wait for a table, as many after us did. read more
