We moved to chandler in November and have done takeout twice at this location: First time we ordered two dinners...wife's shrimp was absolutely burnt. Tasted like rubber and she threw almost the entire dinner away. My medium rare steak was dry and borderline well done. Tonight we ordered an app and 3 dinners: Blossom: basically a raw onion. It was cut on the outside and breaded but one large uncut and unbreaded center. Wife's sweet potato was totally blackened. Pure black marshmallows. Sister's chicken entree was missing cheese. My burger was missing all toppings and was overdone. One time of mistakes is understandable...steaks can be overdone sometimes. Reliably Tasty Food & Good Service Texas roadhouse is one of our reliable favorites for an easy getaway for a tasty piece of meat and a loaded sweet potato. It doesn't really matter which state or city you are in, Texas roadhouse always delivers the same quality and good service with the exception of only one location that we ever went to that was terrible. Our waitress at the bar was Shawna and she was very polite and nice and kept my sweet iced tea flowing all night long. Texas roadhouse always has decent music, and lots and lots of people there. So if you're going to go on a Friday or Saturday call in for a reservation or show up there a little bit earlier than normal. My only criticism of this location is that I wish my loaded sweet potato would've had a little bit more sweetness to it like most of the other times that I get it. It wasn't bad though. They said the are following CDC protocols with size feet because everyone has to be seated in the booth, however every booth filled. It felt very crowded. Wether someone order medium rare or medium, all our meat looks pretty rare. It was like they put it on the grill to make the outside brown and that was it. One wanted to send it back to be cooked more, but by the time we saw our waitress again, she eaten all the sides and decided to take the meat home to cook later. I used the online reservation system which is awesome. When we got there, I let the hostess know that we had seven people not six. She said we could either squeeze into a booth or she would have to split us between 2 tables. We chose to squeeze. When we got to the table, the table next to us was very large and had only two people at it. When I asked the hostess why there were only two people at such a big table and we had to squeeze into a small booth, her comment was, "well they got here before you.". As we sat there, the gentleman in the next table, where there were only two people, came and offered to switch tables with us. Our waiter was amazing but had to go check, which took longer than we thought. Once we moved tables, our experience was wonderful. our server,Emrah, could not have done a better job. He was calm and never seemed flustered, despite how clearly busy he was. Our glasses were never empty, and they were never more dishes than needed to be on our table. When Brady, the manager came over to ask if everything was going well, I stopped him and again, commended Emrah on doing such a great job. Brady was also very friendly and helpful. I truly love everything about Texas Roadhouse! First off, I used the online check in for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! I showed up at the stated time and we were seated at our table 2 minutes after we walked in. And the house was packed! The average wait time was 60-90 minutes. The staffing NEVER disappoints. Everyone is extremely friendly. It did take a while for the waitress to greet us and then took even longer to get our bar order but I understand it was a Saturday night with a full house. And how can you be mad after all you are seated with a basket of the best fresh rolls in town! Our waitress was excellent! We went to this Texas Roadhouse on Christmas eve to have a special meal. As always, we were not disappointed. From the time we were greeted, until we left, the staff was smiling and making everyone feels special. We had the honor of having Chris as our server. Looked like he was doubling as the bartender, yet he never missed a beat with us. All smiles, very professional, & made us feel like we were the only people he was waiting on. Texas was not kidding when their slogan's "Go big or go home," because BIG is definitely what we received from service to food to SMILES! We're from Glendale and we drive all the way to this branch for the Firecracker Shrimp, they dont have it at all other Texas Roadhouse near our place and it is something worth driving 45 mins for. My husband had Rib Eye & Shrimp cooked to perfection. They cooked it the way he wanted which was Medium. I had the Bbq Roasted Half Chicken with Ribs corn and sweet potatoes on the side. Their free dinner rolls are always loved, we get 3 baskets every time and make sure we have something to take home with our left overs. :) If you happen to be in this town or had to buy something from Ikea, I really recommend going by. We called ahead and got a table no problem on a Friday night. Be sure you have some of the (free) bread that they bring....it's so worth every calorie, especially with the delicious apple butter. We had their equivalent of a Blooming Onion and it was quite big and tasty if you're into onion-y things. Our server Taylor was really sweet and was even playing with the child at the table next to us, it was pretty cute to watch. I got the pulled pork. It was pretty good. This time I order the bone-in ribeye. This has been my favorite steak in the past. When delivered it looked like a thick delicious piece of meat. However, when I cut into it, I discovered it definitely was not medium rare. It was over cooked and closer to a medium well. The seasoning was also missing on the steak. Of the last 4 orders I placed online, this location has screwed up... all 4. Every time I am missing food, rolls, drinks, etc. They just can't get it right. Last time (3 months ago) I even asked for the to-go manager and expressed my concerns: While standing in line there were 2 other people waiting who had also gotten meals messed up. This location needs serious help. Screwing up my meal is annoying, but that is not the reason I am done with this location. The reason is, while waiting to speak with the To-Go manager today, I saw one of the to-go workers (a young man with long curley hair in a hat) putting on blue gloves. He put the first one on his right hand, then went to double-glove... but dropped the glove on accident on the floor. I then watched in horror as he picked the glove off the floor... and put it on his hand, and then started separating the freshly baked rolls, touching all of them with that glove he had dropped. Absolutely disgusting. When the manager came, I expressed my concerns with the to-go orders, and then immediately informed her of what I had witnessed. The manager was polite, but had nothing else to say except that his behavior was completely unacceptable. I pointed out every single thing I could see that he had touched since he had dropped the glove, and recommended they toss all of it. The food here is awesome. The staff is always incredibly friendly. If this review was just on the food and the friendliness of the staff, it would be 5 starts easily. We ordered four veggie plates for dinner after a long drive from Phoenix. We pulled up at the promised time, parked in a marked spot, and waited for our food. A waiter came out right away and greeted us. His was friendly and asked us how we were doing. He took our name and said he would check on our order. From the host set up, you wait the time they tell you while you stand outside and then you receive a text, finally go in a wait another 5 mins because they are cleaning your table off.
