We came for lunch over the weekend. The wait time was about 15 minutes, there were quite a few families waiting after we arrived. It wasn't our first time dining at Texas Roadhouse. Service is always great, our apps came quickly. The quality of food, is not exceptional. Portions were large. Our group thought it was pretty lackluster compared to other chains. The majority of our group had burgers and sandwiches, so we can't elaborate on the quality of steaks or the other dishes, but the quality just wasn't there for the items we ordered. First time at this location. They still have the same old tried and true menu and food selections. I ordered a hand cut sirloin steak with a loaded sweet potato along with a Michelob Ultra. The waitress brought over a basket of their warm and fresh bread with cinnamon butter--the best. My food arrived before I finished my beer. My steak was perfectly cooked medium. However, my loaded sweet potato came topped with marshmallows . The menu description says loaded , is with bacon and cheese. I did not care for the marshmallows, way too sweet for me. The waitress was nice about it. She said she would order a sweet potato with the bacon and the cheese for me to take home. The following day when I went to go eat it, it was a regular baked potato with the bacon and cheese, not the sweet potato I had originally ordered. Overall it was a good experience. We come here a lot and sometimes we get the check in appetizer. This visit we tried using it and the server had to call over the General Manager Mike to look at the check in and he said never has he seen this before and only approves things from the Texas Roadhouse app. Then the back and fourth happened. When we stated we have used it before he responded that they are not associated with Yelp and no one has tried using that with his many years there. I told him Texas Roadhouse owns the Yelp page and for them to call their corporate office to take it off because of situations like this. You can also see in this listing that the owner was the one who added this. He walked away confident that this was not something they do. We hadn't been here in years and we had a gift card so we went on my birthday. First, the staff is great! Very friendly and welcoming. Our server was amazing and it was crazy busy. I ordered the Prime Rib and everything was delicious! Their baked potatoes have a seasoned skin so there was not any of that left! It's very much a family restaurant with lots of big groups and pretty loud. I wasn't put off by that, but it's not super conducive to conversation. Overall, a great experience! read more

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! NO PEANUTS THOUGH! I can't believe I've never been here before! I've always heard so much about the peanuts, but it seems they may have gotten rid of them during the pandemic. The floors were pristine with no peanut shells ha ha! I really enjoyed the vibe and ambience inside the dining room. I was also a fan of the fact that they brought us bread to our table as they sat us. Even with the Texas vibes they had a lot of cool cocktails on the menu that I wasn't expecting. My key lime margarita was DELICIOUS! Be sure to check in on Yelp for a free appetizer. The cactus blossom was spectacular and great for sharing. I loved the Cajun sauce with it. Most of the meals come with 2 sides! I got a 6oz fillet with a Caesar salad and a loaded sweet potato. This wasn't the best steak ever, but it was very good for the price. It had a couple of fatty pieces but was otherwise nice and tender. My Caesar salad was loaded with Parmesan! My loaded sweet potato was sooooo decadent. This review is based on the hostess and MOD and their blatant disregard for a particular seating request. You would think just asking to NOT be sat in the area with the pink lights would be simple enough. But no, it was not. While walking to the pink area, there were empty tables everywhere (3:10, just opened) but they stated they did not have servers for any of the empty tables in the well-lit areas. Now, any server worth their salt currently serving in the pink room could have easily handled another table in a regularly lit area because you have to walk past all the regularly-lit tables to get to the pink tables and back the other way to the kitchen. But my party of 3 is now being sat at a table that looked to be either a 6-top or 8-top with a table attached to a booth. What? Once again, regular, well-lit tables everywhere, but supposedly not enough servers. Wouldn't you think you would want to keep that table open for a larger party? Now despite their insistence of not having enough servers, there were no less than six servers that I was able to count. Only two tables were sat in the bar and two customers at the bar, but evidently another table would have been too much for the bartender to handle, let alone any server on the floor? When I asked to speak to the manager, he stated the same thing as the hostess, "not enough servers" and "nothing else is available" in a restaurant with literally maybe 20 percent occupancy. The thing is, we actually have had excellent service by every server we've had as well as many delicious meals. We have built up rapport with more than one server and even two of the managers. However, based on the condescending and insulting way we were spoken to and treated today, we will no longer be patronizing this establishment. I'm sure the staff will have a different perspective. I get it. I'm just a rude customer complaining. But the fact of the matter is, we are actually very nice people and very generous, but I will treat people the way they treat me. So if I came off as rude, perhaps it was a reflection of the staff. I realize this review won't matter to them because they're not going to go out of business based on one review, but I know I wouldn't want to lose a customer based on where they requested to be sat. read more

I was in the mood for steak this weekend so we headed back to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. The wait was very long, but totally worth it! We checked in at 6:40 and were seated by about 10 after 8. Social distancing was being properly practices and hand sanitizer was available. We always know exactly what we want here, so we were able to order immediately after being seated. I highly recommend the 6 ounce Dallas Filet, it has always been my favorite. This is the first time I got it butterflied, now I will ask for it this way every time. Our server Ryan suggested it this way for more even cooking. He was sooooo right! I devoured most of my salad before my Margarita made it to the table. I was very hungry and TR has great salads! The steak was perfect and incredibly delicious. As usual, I was only able to eat half if my baked potato, I like bringing the other half home for lunch another day. I was pleased to see that they offered full size shakers for salt and pepper, and steak sauce again. I didn't like the single servings that they had last year at the start of the pandemic. On the other hand, their prime rib isn't that great despite them having limited servings daily. I've been spoiled too much by prime rib specialty houses to ever go back to ordering a prime rib from Texas Roadhouse. The caesar salad is good and the mac and cheese is okay. On this specific occasion, we also used the Yelp check-in for a free appetizer but we didn't notice that they had actually charged us until after we got home. Oh well. The steaks here are pretty good. They always do an excellent job of cooking the meat the way you like it. Man, I can't get enough of this place! There wasn't too long of a wait today. Usually they have peanuts for everyone in a huge barrel, however, since every one seems worried about the coronavirus the restaurant was providing peanuts in a personal size baggy so there would be no contamination. We got a table within 15 minutes and since we got a menu while waiting we knew exactly what we wanted by the time we got to the table. Got an appetizer called rattle snake bites that was really good. It is cheese balls with jalapenos, so good! I got my favorite cut, the fabulous ribeye. Let me tell you it was perfect! With this plate you get two sides. I decided to get corn that was nice and buttery and as my second choice macaroni but I wasn't terribly happy with it. Needless to say I highly recommend this place. read more

I don't get to eat steak very often but I'm glad that this time when I went to Texas Roadhouse it was a rewarding meal. My steak was prepared how I liked and I really liked their house seasoning they put on the steak. Ample amount of sauteed mushrooms and onions which was nice. I also had the grilled shrimp which tasted good, kinda wish I had more than what came with my order. The baked potato was great too although unlike most people I don't add a bunch of extras on my baked potato but it was nice to have whipped butter that was hard like it just came out of the fridge. My last side was the butter corn bowl. Very well done and seasoned and throughout the whole meal I didn't have to add salt to anything except for my potato. Service was consistent, but they were busy considering or arrival time. Overall a great experience for me and my family seemed pleased with their selections as well but I don't want to put words in their mouths! Went to dinner tonight with my girls.. for a Sunday, the wait was about 30 minutes for a group of 9. Not to shabby, since the place was packed. This Roadhouse might be missing a Swayze but hey it isn't quite as rowdy as The Double Deuce. I'll admit we came here because we were feeling like cheapskates and wanted to partake in the discounted Early Diner meals (M-F 3:30 to 5:30) where a selected number of items are $9.99 with 2 sides. Not a bad deal! The items vary from steak, chicken, pork or salad. I opted for the 6 oz sirloin with fresh vegetables and green beans. While we waited there was some tasty, pillowy freshly baked bread brought to our table along with some sweet cinnamon butter. There's also a bucket of salted peanuts in shell for those that want a more low carb snack to nosh on while the main entrees arrive. The 6 oz sirloin with sides wasn't much presentation wise, but it tasted alright, about as much as you would expect for discounted steak lol. I requested it medium and it came out about medium well instead. Despite this being a Texas Roadhouse, it was a non-Texan, smallish portion of steak (It is only 6 oz after all) but was well seasoned at least. The sides were decent. The fresh vegetables consisted of steamed broccoli and carrots, and the green beans were steeped in a smokey bacony broth. Service was excellent here. Horrible experience going out for my son's 10th birthday dinner. We were seated at 5:26 for our family of 4 dinner. Our waiter came up for drink order at 5:28, at that time we placed our onion blossom app and then also our dinner order (2 sirlion dinners, 1 ribeye dinner and boneless wings order). Onion blossom came out in 5 minutes and was great as usual. Side of chili game out a couple minutes later. Then we waited, and waited and waited. The waiter came around a couple times saying he would check on our order as is taking longer. The table that ordered 20 minutes after us got their food and we are still waiting. Finally our order comes out 47 minutes after we placed our order (right when we got there). Boneless wings cold as ice. Manager came over as the waiter told him about our wait. Took onion blossom off bill and wings after we told him they were cold. If you have been to Texas Roadhouse, you know they are always crowded and typically are on point with the service they provide. That did not happen tonight. That was the worst texas roadhouse experience and very upset that it was supposed to be a great 10th birthday celebration but instead was nothing close to that. Atmosphere is fun and casual, decidedly unpretentious compared to the Mortons and Ruth Chris's you'll find in every big city. I noticed that TR tends to be located only in suburbs. Tried the Prime Rib and tasted the Ribeye. Good, tender and well seasoned steaks. Smothering with your choices seems like a must! I put onions, chilis on mine. Came here for our weekly family dinner. Haven't received our main course yet but already am giving them 4 stars. Only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. We spent our 5 minutes waiting putting in song requests on their jukebox. We were sitting quickly and our waiter came by almost Immediately to take our drink orders. We're serve bread and peanuts right away. Now onto the margs! You have your choice of on the rocks or frozen with salt or no salt. You can add an extra shot of tequila also known as a kicker to any margaritas. Choices are Patron, 1800 for Margaritaville Gold. They also offer mango, strawberry or raspberry fruity margaritas served with Tajin chili lime salt. I ordered the house margarita and it's perfect. Not too sweet or sour. I wasn't able to find a happy hour menu for alcohol, but they do have an early dine option for $9.99 for food with 11 Different entrée options. Oh and no line on a Tuesday! Absolutely horrible from the hostess, to the server and food. Joined waitlist online as Friday evenings are busy, get to the restaurant and the girl says she can't find us and it'll be 20-30 mins. Ok fine, we wait then when the next hostess takes us back to table it's a booth and we needed a high chair, I tell the girl this and she say oh well I can get you a booster. The tables were so close to each other every time someone passed you felt like they were sitting with you, and you were also dodging the giant trays. We ask if there is a table that we can have a high chair at and she says oh you'll have to wait. We end up sitting at the booth and make it work. The server then comes over and asks how we're doing and I give him the honest answer of "not great" he didn't make the experience any better, he was not around the majority of the time. We were plained to the hostess that the fourth person coming es not going to order for because he would be sharing with one of us and we already knew what we wanted to order. Hostess was very rude as she told us to look at the sign that said they could not seat any parties u less everyone was there, but I explained to her again that the person that was on their way was not going to order but share a meal, so what was the big deal. as there was only one party waiting and we didn't mind waiting until they got seated first. I'm giving a lower score because the chicken fried steak I ordered has so much "gristle " that I could only eat a small amount of my meal. I mentioned this to our waitstaff and literally received no offer of fresh meal or discount on the meal total. We were a party of 6 enjoying dinner until my husband quietly tried to kill a massive sewer roach on the wall behind me and thought it accidentally fell in my purse! UGH. we asked for a manager, and we were greeted by another server, Anthony, who seemed perfectly comfortable with the situation. He explained that they had the extermination company out the night before, so all the roaches were coming out. DISGUSTING.
