Yikes! Not sure what was going on tonight. I ordered takeout out Burger and fries. Simple enough, right? I went to pick my order up no one was at takeout window for about 10 min and I had to go inside and ask for assistance. Once, someone came to assist me she had me my bag with gloves on that had butter all over her gloves therefore on my bag. When I asked for napkins she said they didn't have any. Fine, I went home to eat my burger. It was cold, salty, the bun tasted weird. The fries were also cold. This is my second time at this location and it's usually busy on the weekend during dinner service. Their website offers the ability to join a waitlist prior to arriving, which I appreciate. This is a casual dinning establishment with TVs showing various sport games. Despite them being busy our server was attentive, food came out quick and was delicious. Was a group of 12, and was seated separately, maybe 4 tables down from the other part of our family's table and was not told previously. as the table behind my family was clearing maybe 2 minutes after we got seated, we asked if we could sit behind them so we could at least sit near our family. then was told with an attitude by one of the lady servers no that's the way we do it, do you need me to grab my manager with a very very nasty attitude. She said I can take them back and have them prepare them how you asked.i didn't want to wait another hour, just please bring my check. She brought her manager and he saw the steaks and said yeah those are not medium well, we can remake that for you. I said no we waited almost 2 hrs cause the waiter said they were making them fresh, He said ok I will remove that from your check. Here comes the check just to realize only one plate was deducted and an appetizer for the inconvenience as the manager mentioned. Our experience this time, however, has prompted me to share some concerns. We were seated at a table overlooking the kitchen preparation station, where we witnessed an employee, unlike others who had two gloves, eating fries off a customer plate with only one glove on. After putting the fries in his mouth, he continued working. To our surprise, he later placed his ungloved hand into his pocket, checked his phone, and then resumed handling plates with the same ungloved hand. Despite informing our waitress about this unsettling incident, the employee briefly disappeared and returned to work, this time with two gloves on. Additionally, another individual wearing a cowboy hat was observed going in and out of the kitchen, working on serving trays/holders without wearing gloves. This experience left us in awe and raised concerns about hygiene and overall practices. Although we refrained from making a scene in front of our kids, we shared our concerns with the waitress. While she claimed to have informed management, the only visible change was the employee returning with two gloves. The fact that the waitress made no accommodations for this situation surprised us. We like to get the combo appetizer with wings, rattlesnake bites and fried pickles. The fried pickles (which are my fave) were over cooked but not inedible. We were served by Carly and oh goodness, where do I begin!?! She was so beautiful first! And then she was so patient with the children at the table with us. She was attentive to them and she would repeat back to them just to make sure she heard correctly. She brought our drinks to us and I promise you, the moment she saw our glasses were ALMOST empty here she was asking if we'd like another. We also asked for plasticware and she said she would be right back and she was!!! She didn't forget us and she really went above and beyond. This location doesn't cook shrimp well. It's not seasoned at all and it's always somewhat over cooked, I've tried their shrimp 3 times. Their ribs were partially dry when i tried them. I do enjoy their steaks and hamburgers though and it's always the temperature I ask it to be. As for the sides, the veggies are either steamed or microwaved, I can't tell but they usually come in a puddle of water. The Mac n cheese is hit or miss. The mashed potatoes aren't great either. The fries are really good. Whatever flavored lemonades I've tried only taste like lemonade. They do make their rolls and butter perfect every time. And if you're wondering why I've came here so many times, my boyfriend and his family love their steak so I have to and I try to keep an open mind and order something different each time I come. read more

We went here around 4:30 on a Monday. Apparently just in time to get the early bird deal they have before 5:30 that we did not know about. We were quickly seated and the waitress brought us water right away. I got the sirloin steak special with a side of loaded baked sweet potato and broccoli. We arrived at Texas Roadhouse shortly after 6pm and we did not call ahead and we needed to be seated for 6 people. We were seated in less than 5 minutes even the though the restaurant was bustling. Our server's name was Steph and she was great! We all ordered and our meals came out exactly as ordered. The food was good as usual. I ordered a petite filet mignon with ribs combo. The filet was small of course but what can one expect from a 6oz steak, right. Not a biggie and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. We live just a few miles away but haven't been to the restaurant in a while. So before this visit I confirmed on line that Texas Roadhouse still offered the Wild West Wednesday special. However after being seated and starting our order our server Madison claimed to have never heard of that. I had the manager Nate come over to explain that the Tempe location no longer had this special. We ended up having to order a smaller steak at a higher price. A major disappointment. Service from Madison was good. Food wasn't as good as it used to be, although the sautéed mushroom side dish was excellent. My wife's broccoli side dish was terrible and she left most of it uneaten. This restaurant was happening for a Monday night. We barely could find a park spot and they have a huge parking spot near Ikea. This restaurant does a really good job of trying to put up covid barriers at each table and that was appreciated however it was almost to capacity. I will say what I didn't like as when we came in we were asked to stand by where they put all the fresh bread right before they deliver to the tables and I didn't think that was very sanitary. Anyway on to all the positives about this place the food the service and the price point are fantastic. As soon as we sat down we got hot fresh bread with butter and it was fantastic. We ordered the blooming onion for an appetizer and unfortunately we aren't even able to finish it. As for our table my friend got the salmon mill which she was happy with was happy with my other friend got the ribbon with mushrooms and she was happy with and I got the ribs. While I very much enjoy the ribs I had really have a mouth already for catfish but they ran out that night. Great job on a Wednesday night roadhouse! The place was popping!! More than usual... Gotta love the Christmas time. Even tho the place was super packed and employees seem overwhelmed they came thru with everything being delicious as always. And we didn't have to wait long for anything so it was a good night. The noise level wasn't crazy I could hear the music really good. I checked in and got a free appetizer that they redeemed for me. We got some mild boneless chicken wings, fried pickles and bacon skin potatoes.
