When it did, my medium-rare prime rib was completely overcooked; the blood had dried on the surface, and the sear was so tough it was nearly impossible to bite through. I sadly have to say that the service has declined, the food takes between 30-45 min to arrive and there are multiple orders that are off by a few things- wrong sides, or the meat is over cooked. I will also say, once we arrived we were aggressively pointed and directed towards a circle location. Service is important and the negativity was a domino affect unfortunately. The food is amazing. When you go inside and sit down, everything is great. However- online ordering and picking up food is a disaster every time we choose this option. There is always something missing or something wrong with our order. Most recently our order was missing a food item, and we were given the wrong drink. By the time we got home clear across town it wasn't worth driving back. We attempted to call the restaurant however waited on hold for 15 minutes and no one ever came on the line. The service was awful. No smiles, no coming back to check on us, we had to flag her down and when we got her attention she acted like we bothered her. We told her it was my birthday, nobody came to wish me a happy birthday. My steak was flat and burnt , which was my birthday dinner. TXTH is our go to when it comes to celebrating birthdays. We loved the service and the food. Today is our son's 14th birthday and he wanted to eat here. There were 4 of us and my parents were gonna meet us there. So 6 of us total. 4 of us showed up first, my wife and kids. We got there and no one greeted us, I already felt something is off. So I just went ahead to greet the lady in the front and said there's 6 in our party but we are waiting for the other two. I was told that we have to wait till all party was present. I looked around and they weren't even busy. More than 10 tables was empty. I ignored it, it didn't really bother me, we were just excited to eat there. So we decided to open the menu and start to pick our orders so we'll be ready when seated. When my parents arrived at the parking lot, my dad first dropped my mom as he was gonna look for parking. So we approached the front staff and said we were all here, that one more person is coming as he was just parking. Then I was shutdown again. She said that we wouldn't get seated until she sees everyone complete. First was understandable but now it's ridiculous. 10 empty tables and there were no people waiting. Now my mood was happy to disappointed. Then my dad came in and so I looked at the staff and said "we're all here!" She didn't respond, not a word, so I approached her and said it again "we're are all here" she replied annoyed " yeah, she's gonna get you seated". Shaking my head, we followed the server. We sat down and waited for our waiter. She showed up and ask for drinks and at this time, my wife is ready to order for our youngest son because he have autism and doesn't have the patience to wait. The server thought we were all ready to order, so she started asking around, which we didn't mind coz we got hungry from waiting. By the way I don't really appreciate when server ask about adding mushroom and onions on the steak without mentioning it would cost extra, feels like a trap that you found out on your bill. Anyways, after waiting a long time for our orders, two of the orders was missing, the staff that brought out the order said "that's all it is on my list, is four orders". So she went ahead and ask our server about it. We have to distract our son because it was his food that was completely forgotten (which the server admitted to). At this time, my wife and I checked on our steaks and her's was well done and mine was medium well. Complained about it and got replacements. Cut it and both were medium rare. Good but my steak was really salty, the managers excuse was "that's is really how we seasoned our steak" which I doubt coz the other visits we had was perfect. I had to put tabasco sauce to hide the saltiness. I usually finish my meals and never add anything to my steaks. It's a shame that I had to stop eating after two bites and take my food to go. I was gonna leave 2 stars but now it's 1. Wish I can put none. How to improve? Treat customers as customers, if you don't like your job, quit! Don't treat us like sh*t coz you hate your job. Well, well, well as soon as you walk in, you are transformed to Texas - with the music and decor. The waitress Sarah was very attentive even though we were seated at the farthest corner possible; which I didn't mind. We started our meal with a blooming onion which I liked. Rudy didn't like the sauce but I did, to each it's own right? My ribs were really delicious as you can see I left the bones clean. But I over ate since I ate two dinner buttered dinner rolls spread with the smooth cinnamon butter and huge house salad. Letty liked her speak bits that were smothered with gravy and sautéed onions. We came in today after my son's graduation. Service, food and was horrible. It's the fourth time we come since they been open and there is always something missing and they take for ever to bring it out. I think they don't like serving Mexicans. I also told them it was my son's birthday they never came out to sing. And also I have to add that the napkins and utensils were dirty all five of them. They had food stuck on them. The steak was cooked the way I want it. The only complaint I have is the service. The wait was very long. If it wasn't for the very addicting bread I would of left. We came with a big party and had to have two tables. We both ordered the same time but the other table got there food first. And by the time they started eating we was still waiting for our food. Where do I start...oh maybe with Yelp needing to have a zero star rating available, today's visit definitely earned them that! First we were greeted and informed that because our full party wasn't inside yet (a few were outside parking still) we couldn't be seated. Upon being seated our waitress Bianca attempted to rush us into ordering. We hurriedly gave our drink orders and informed her more time was needed. We ultimately began ordering and this is where things went downhill... First steak ordered included shrimp, the exchange went like this "do you want the onions and mushroom on it or on the side?", response was "none please", then we were asked if we wanted "6, 9 or 12 shrimp", we clarified this with our waitress because the meal was to come with 4 and were told it came with 6 but that we could choose to have 9 or 12 instead. We chose 6 shrimp with our 6oz sirloin. We had a couple burgers in our order that came with fries, the burgers came but fries only came once we asked where they were multiple times (approx. 10 minutes apart). Drinks (sodas) took 20+ minutes to refill after our initial request. Sides ordered as part of the entree were charged on our bill as ala cart items when they actually came as part of the meal itself according to the menu. Side of chili was billed on our bill because when asked what we wanted as our side we accidentally said a bowl of chili instead of a cup of chili. Semantics! And...the chili wasn't more than lukewarm when it arrived at the table. Remember the shrimp I mentioned?? Well we were charged twice at $3.99 for those shrimp...and the onions and mushroom we turned down were actually another $4 add-on. Now don't get me wrong, we have zero issue paying for items we order BUT the problem is the tactic used to try to get us to add onto our items...not once during this entire ordering process was any type of upcharge mentioned. We found out about the mushrooms and onions after looking at the menu a second time after our waitress Bianca left and NEVER saw or heard anything about the 6, 9, or 12 shrimp upcharge until we got our bill. Upon review of our bill we noticed a ton of discrepancies between what we ordered (not only all of the above but also a charge for an 8oz steak when a 6oz steak was actually ordered), so we inquired with our waitress and she said there were certain policies in place for the shrimp, she said she wasn't supposed to tell us about the upgrade fees which we found to be quite deceitful, unethical and felt like a total scam! She ended up bringing the manager to our table to talk to us (without us asking for one) and we were informed by him that he wasn't sure why she'd handled taking our order the way she had. He said she'd been employed there since they opened and that we shouldn't have encountered any of these issues. He 'fixed' the problem by taking $15 off our check and giving us a 'Dinner for two' certificate for $40 off a meal for use at a later date, but even with this we will likely never return! Blatantly ripping off your customers, all with a smile on your face is NEVER the right thing to do and is a direct negative reflection on your brand and business... diminishing the trust we had in doing business with you. We wish we would have had a better experience but want other yelpers to know how business is conducted at this establishment, and to save yourself the time, money and overall satisfaction by just going somewhere else. read more

This place is very popular and so you may have to wait for a table. A lot of people do take advantage of this deal, so don't expect to be the only one there, even if you are there real early for dinner. The price is only $13.99 and they offer a choice of several different meals, each of which includes two sides. I ordered the 6 oz sirloin steak, a dinner salad and a baked potato.
