I really enjoy eating at Texas Roadhouse. It's easy to access, the servers are pleasant and happy people. Even though there is a crowd waiting they seem to handle it flawlessly. The decor is just what the name implies, a fun no frills place to enjoy a good old American style dinner. My only flaw in this visit was that my steak was a little over done. This is one of my parent's favorite places to eat at. My Dad is a veteran of the US Navy, having served our country for 30 years. He really appreciates that they support veterans and Offers them a free meal on Veterans'a Day every year, so he continues to support this restaurant. When my parents come out to Utah for a visit, we always go to Texas Roadhouse at least once (sometimes twice). We always have great service and the food is yummy (I love me some steak!!!!)! They use a texting system for online pickups. It supposed to let them know you have arrived, but you will never receive a text for when your order is ready to pick up. Your food will sit there until cold unless you bug them about where your order is. They gave me our order only because I continued asking them and it was 20 minutes late from order time they originally game me! Worst experience possible at this location. Seated at a table with a direct view into the kitchen and beverage dispensing area. On the tabl was a menufor two people for $49.95 that included an appetizer choice and four different menu items one of which was a 12 ounce ribeye steak, which I ordered. Our horrible server Dani came back after taking our order and our appetizer had been brought out told us the 12 ounce ribeye wasn't available I could get a 14 ounce but they couldn't give it to me with the special on the menu. I looked at the menu regular menu and the difference and price was $2.50. They wouldn't offer it for the difference in price and said I had to pick one of the other three items which were combinations. I spoke to the manager and asked to trim 2 ounces off of the 14oz. She stated their meat cutter had gone home for the day and refused to just let us pay the difference and the price difference was going to cost us $10 more for 2 ounces of steak. The manager's name is name is Cary. She is also a horrible person. Danny came and asked how we were enjoying our meal and I said it was horrible. I took the other option and shrimp which I did not want. It did not taste as good as a ribeye would have been so no I was not enjoying my meal and I didn't understand why they wouldn't let me pay the difference. She brought Cary back to our table who then said that we looked familiar to her and said that we had come in before and complained. I live about 30 miles out outside of bountiful and this is the usual Texas roadhouse we've come to. I have never complained or had any issues there. It was very insulting that she accused us of trying to complain to get a better meal. when she came back the second time, my husband also noted that he had not ordered mushrooms for his steak, but they had put them on his steak and she said why didn't you tell me that when I was there the first time. This experience cost Dani any tip we just hurried up and boxed what was now the dogs dinner and as we were getting ready to leave Dani came up to the table in front of the other customers and started complaining about how she only makes two dollars an hour and it wasn't fair that she didn't get a tip and kept going on and on about how she only makes two dollars an hour. I had cash but after that forget about it. I told her to take it up with Cary and have her pay her a tip. I will never return to this location after the horrible way we were treated. Frank Ortega the general manager needs to do a better job picking personnel. Just know if you go there and they pull a bait and switch on you don't complain or they'll accuse you of trying to rip them off. read more

Texas Roadhouse has a special place in my heart for steaks with the boys. The waitstaff is always very friendly to our party sometimes even hanging around for a chat. If you're coming here around dinner time make sure you call ahead as it can get quite busy. Once you're in the service is speedy and the steak has yet to dissapoint. I freakin love Texas Roadhouse. It's not fancy or anything but the steaks are always so darn good and flavorful. They also have amazing appetizers....all of them are good. And don't even get me started on the biscuits and apple butter....straight up crack. I also appreciate the fun cocktails, we've tried a few and they are yummy. The service is always great and I don't think I've ever left there disappointed. But I do usually leave with a tummy ache from eating way too much. Service this time was slow, Ribs were burnt and dry asked for butter and bbq sauce waited so long my son had finished his prime rib the rolls were cold because I asked for regular butter from the lady that seated us and no butter asked again nothing ended up just putting it all in a container and now I am using my $25 ribs to treat my dogs because they are like jerky. Should have stuck with my usual order of prime rib. So disappointed. We also had a birthday lady at the next table and the male waiter screamed something so loud that it made my ears rattle I had to plug my ears with my fingers because the screaming waiter was right next to me! We did get right in, they seated us in the bar area and I think that was their mistake because the bar tender is also you're waitress, she is more attentive on her drinks than waiting on diners. That's the reason for only 3 stars. I noticed the steaks in the cold case when you walk in nice 1.5 inches thick but when yours comes out it's about 1/4 inch thick. Texas Roadhouse is always one of my favorites. This location was very accommodating in getting my large party in. All of the food was amazing but our stakes were all overcooked. We all asked for medium but got well done. When they were replaced they came back rare. Eventually the stakes were cooked right and, as always, tasted amazing. Was in the mood for some Texas Roadhouse since it reminded me of home, but this place was bad. The service was horrible. My sides came out and we still didn't have our drinks. I didn't have the best experience here this weekend... The food was good, but our service was not. It took forever to get our food, and they hardly ever checked on us. Even waiting to get our check at the end took wayyy too long! It was just kind of a drag spending so much time sitting there. I wouldn't recommend coming to this location if you're on any sort of time table. Even though the service was bad, the food was good enough. It's fun to get a cactus blossom and their rolls and cinnamon butter are to die for! I ordered the BBQ chicken and while it was yummy, it wasn't anything special. On another note, our booth was all torn up (see picture). It's not a huge deal to me, but I definitely noticed and would appreciate a place that was kept in better shape. All in all, I've had better experiences at other locations of Texas Roadhouse. The food here was good enough, but the service just didn't cut it for me. I'm blown away. I had a pretty special request from this Texas Roadhouse location and the service, and compassion my family received from the manager, Nick. I was adopted when I was a very young child and now that I am a mom myself and have done necessary healing, I decided I was ready to find my Birth Parents and reunite with them. Since my Birth Mother was coming from out of state, I was trying to figure out the best way to get a table as close to 7pm. I was willing to wait and jump through any hoops that were necessary and knew on a Friday with no reservations that it would not be an easy task. Nick however was so gracious and was able to help my family out and how thankful are we! Texas Roadhouse was one of the last places I remember as a child with my birth mom and now I get to see her again 20 years later with my own family and baby. Thank you so much West Bountiful Texas Roadhouse! 4 stars for the bathroom. Unfortunately it definitely needs a good wipe down especially the walls, toilets, and the stalls! I'm kicking myself because I cannot for the life of me remember our waitress's name but she was THE best waitress my family has ever had. We normally love Texas Roadhouse but this one wasn't great and I don't think we will return. Our waitress was so kind, but we encountered multiple issues. Right before our food came out we were told the kitchen was out of baked potatoes. Seriously a steakhouse without baked potatoes at 4 pm is a bad sign. We chose replacements, but we weren't thrilled with the options since we wanted loaded baked potatoes. The steak on one of of the plates was way over cooked and charred (ordered as medium). Unfortunately we didn't have time to wait for a replacement because we had to get to the airport.
