Endless Shrimp is BACK!!! We have been waiting for this special to come back! When I was in my 50's I could down 120 shrimps. I didn't even come close this time! I started out with the seafood stuffed mushrooms. We inhaled them and forgot to take pictures. LOL. The tasted like they were crab cakes on top of mushrooms. I swear they used to put more seafood on these. I ordered the Endless Shrimp. For my first 3 varieties, I ordered Scampi, Coconut Shrimp, and the Merry Me Shrimp. The scampi was good as usual and had the perfect blend of garlic and butter. The Coconut Shrimp was good for the first round however, the second batch tasted like old oil after a while. The third batch was a little better but not by much. The Pina Colada sauce for the coconut shrimp is to die for and I could drink this stuff! It has the right amount of sweetness and I love the pieces of pineapple and coconuts. As for the Merry Me Shrimp, this is supposed to have a tomato cream sauce with a garlic and herb crumble. I didn't detect a hint of tomato cream and the garlic and herb crumble was very lightly seasoned. Most of the flavor came from the shrimp, which tasted like it came from the scampi pot and they dumped the crumble topping on top. Not a fan. I want a DIVORCE from this dish. I also ordered the Shrimp Linguini Alfredo for my last dishes. The Alfredo sauce was creamy but lacked the cheese flavors. I know from past experiences that when I eat my leftovers tomorrow, these will be grainy and oily. We ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert. My wife made the comment that "we could buy a whole cheesecake at Costco for what they're charging." I didn't believe her until I saw the bill. $12.99 for a slice! We went to Costco afterwards and the cheesecake was $2 more than the slice we had. Overall, we were stuffed and our server Dallas made our dining experience an enjoyable one. I know all the servers hate this promotion because they have to do way more for us, so I made sure to appreciate him when it came to tipping him. I was so excited to try Red Lobster while visiting my dad in Salt Lake City and it ended up being such a great experience. The food, the service, and the overall vibe made it a really memorable dinner for our family. I ordered the Mariner's Seafood Boil and it was amazing. It really had a little bit of everything I was craving and the flavors were spot on. The seafood was fresh, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. It was the kind of meal where every bite makes you happy you ordered it. My dad went with the surf and turf and added shrimp which was a great choice. My sister is gluten free and I honestly cannot remember exactly what she ordered, but she definitely ate Of course the biscuits deserve their own moment because they are always my favorite. Those cheddar bay biscuits are a classic that will never get old. Warm, buttery, and full of flavor. I could honestly eat a whole basket. I'm pretty sure I did, maybe even twice. Our server was also fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and gave us great conversation throughout the meal. It was nice getting to know him a little while we were there. Service like that really makes the experience feel more personal. The ambience inside is exactly what you hope for when you go to Red Lobster. It has that cozy homelike feeling with the happy hum of families talking, dishes moving around, and people enjoying their meals. Something about the atmosphere always makes me feel like I am close to the water even though we are in the middle of the city. My dad and I also shared a nice glass of Woodford Reserve and he really enjoyed the drink while we spent time together. The whole evening just felt special. This location is also in a great spot next to a lot of shopping which makes it an easy and fun stop during a day out. Came to try the seafood boil here for the first time had a really good experience, I would definitely come back. Mariner's Seafood Boil (Old Bay & Parmesan, mild spice?): 8/10 It was really tasty and normally I don't even like lobster or crab but I really enjoyed it. It was also filling. Only thing I didn't like was the potatoes and corn. Lobster & Shrimp Linguini: 10/10 delicious no complaints. They really stepped up their pasta game! Watermelon Lemonade: 2/10 way too sweet and artificial flavor. had to dilute it with water. Yes, I know it's Red Lobster, and I'm originally from a beach town, so spare me the details about it being not real this or that because I couldn't care less. I enjoy Red Lobster for what it is, and for the nostalgia, because my parents would take us on special occasions and sometimes just because. And my husband loves it too. Anyway... we always have great service when we come here. Our servers always check in to make sure we have everything we need and that the food is to our tasting. They had some somewhat new items (to me) on the menu, including drinks, which I tried and enjoyed. I'm always picky about iced tea since I'm from a southern area, and if it's not brewed, I won't order it. They have new Boston Iced Teas which are delightful! It's no southern iced tea, but it was refreshing and brewed in house! My husband and i both got the sure & turf this time, and I tried the hush puppies too. I'm usually more of the adventurous one, so I mix up my food choices. And the cheddar bay biscuits are always a fave! We got there pretty late, so there weren't too many people. That meant we got our food pretty quickly, which was a plus since we both just got done with a workout, and I was hungry! I went in for lunch and had the Unlimited soup, salad and biscuits. For the price, it's a good deal. Their soups are great - had good flavor. The soup options are clam chowder or lobster bisque. The biscuits are salty and cheesy, which I really like. Note - the biscuits are free when you sit down, doesn't matter what you order. The salad was just your below average house salad; however, I did like how they had this citrus vinaigrette option. I'm not a huge fan of dairy-based dressings. I like how I could mix-and-match the my soup and salad options whenever I ordered a refill. On top of the unlimited soup/salad order, I ordered something else but the server totally forgot to put it in. I will say, the server could have been more attentive. On 4/18/26 I ate at this location. It was a very good experience. We were greeted immediately by the hostess who showed us to our table. Our server "Alayna" (not sure of the spelling) greeted us and took our drink order. She brought bread and let us know about specials and took our order. After the meals arrived Alayna checked on us frequently even though it started to get busy. Finally I left my card in the folder and she hurried to return it. She was very professional and friendly. I don't know if I ever have had this good experience at Red Lobster. Definitely would return and recommend Alayna as a server. read more

Fun Saturday lunch at Red Lobster with the family! I got a pineapple gin cocktail. It was good, not too sweet! Never had crab legs before and was feeling adventurous, so I gave them a try. They were good but very messy and it took me forever to eat, but now I can say that I've had snow crab! I was a little disappointed that they were out of the honey siracha sauce though.... My husband got the grilled trout and our son got the fish and chips! Everyone enjoyed their meals and our server took great care of us!! Next I need to try lobster, haven't had that yet. read more

I had Ultimate Feast where you choose the options. I enjoyed the snow crab A LOT but a slow eater or someone distracted could end up with cold crab if not nimble with those crab crackers. The place was spotless and didn't show its age at all for being in this location way before the office buildings took over. I take people with developmental disabilities to appointments. When we go to salt lake they know we will be eating at Red Lobster. The food is good but I really appreciate the staff and management. They treat my clients with courtesy and respect and even go out of their way to accommodate them by, for instance, taking the tails off of shrimp for a client who has poor motor skills or printing full nutritional information for a client with diabetes. Really enjoy going there and so do my clients. It is always the high light of the trip. read more

This location is tight in sugar house now that the hospital is up. Easy off and on freeway location tho. But parking can get tight. This is a good place for lunch and they have many affordable lunch options. During dinner, prices are high for mediocre seafood, mostly fried. We like the cheddar biscuits really and that's what keeps us back. Also the staff always let's my son pet a lobster and gives some info on them. This location never seems too busy and service is ok. I am 67 years old and been a customer to Red Lobster as long as they have been open in Sugar House Utah. We moved away for 14 years to California and returned in 2004. We went to Red Lobster, and it was very good as usual. When COVID hit We have not gone out to eat since then and we still do not go out because of the Virus is still here in many forms. We order out now and we have ordered from Red Lobster in Sugar House and each time the food was awful and this is the last time. We had fish and chips, and they were horrible! Overcooked! It was like leather and missing Items as well! Not only that Way OVERPRICED! It cost $20.00 EACH for fish and Chips! Out rages Price for just fish and chips $40.00 Plua tax and delivery came to $50. for TWO People. It is sad to see them gone downhill terrible and even their Biscuits NO LONGER taste good, and we use to love them! read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night around 7pm. We were seated right away. Both the host and our server were very kind. We were so thrilled when a photographer, Sage, came up to us and offered to take some photos of us. The photographer was very friendly. Now we have cute framed photos to look back on of our great dining experience. The photographs made our night, we were super excited about it. So many disappointments. You know how it is when you expect to pay a bit more to have a better sit down meal? The expectation was high because Red Lobster usually doesn't disappoint. This however was a train wreck of a visit. 1. The server was just not that friendly at all and lacked knowledge of the menu. She seemed irritated with us from the minute we sat down. My observation is she was assigned too many tables. 2. Server dropped our appetizer off with no plates and she overheard me say. "She took my biscuit plate. Now where am I supposed to put my mushrooms" she brought me back my crumb filled plate lol after giving me a dirty look. 3. Steak arrived still moving. We ordered it medium well. See photos below. After needing to flag her over she acted as if it was a huge imposition to take it back and bring the steak cooked the way we originally requested. Let me point out the very haggard looking lobster tail. 4. My lunch was the admirals feast. If you look at the picture it was not what I have ordered in the past now or via the menu photo. Epic fail. They were successful at slapping a minimal portion of fried "stuff" on an oversized plate. They would have been smarter to use a more proportioned plate to make the portion more appealing. The bottom line is the server can't be held accountable for the food that is prepared but you better bet that she should be relaying feed back to her manager and chef. Unless she entered the steak incorrectly to begin with. We still don't know what happened there. Based on her lack of attention to details. I feel like she really wasn't into her job. We were never offered steak sauce, A1, Heinz 57, salt or pepper etc. she never came back to inquire how the corrected steak was either. She offered to have the steak removed, give us red lobster points...I very politely thanked her for the efforts but that it wasn't necessary. I'm a foodie that even if food and service fall short, I will give constructive feedback but do not expect anything to come of it. I wanted good food and great service. We got neither... Good stuff. Seemed like the price was reasonable. We ordered the Ultimate feast which came with shrimp scampi, walts shrimp, Maine lobster and crab legs. With two sides- Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. We also ordered a side of fries. All good was generally fresh and delicious. The lobster was a bit chewy but not bad by any means. The crab was Michelle's favorite and for me it was Walt's shrimp. The Brussels sprouts were so dam good too. Mmmmm doped up brussel sprouts COVID wise- all masks and table separated. Haven't been to Red Lobster in a dogs age. Was craving steak and lobster but didn't want to break the bank. Was seated quickly. Restaurant is clean and the severs were pleasant and attentive. I ordered a cup of clam chowder, a 7 oz. sirloin medium rare, lobster tail, broccoli and quinoa rice. Clam chowder was good but salty. Cheddar bay biscuits were warm and tasty, but salty. Steak was cooked properly, but you guessed, it over seasoned and salty. Lobster was cooked properly The only things that were not salty were the vegetables and the lobster. We went to the Red Lobster for dinner on Winchester. We had to wait 1/2 hour. When we went in the place was almost empty. Our server promptly came to our table took our orders. The steak was barely eatable. It was stringy. I mentioned it to the waiter. He said it was the cut and never offered to replace it. We have been ordering delivery and curbside pickup from Red Lobster for a few months now, and I thought it was time to write a review. First, let me say that not everything has been perfect with our orders every time. Once the Lobster Bisque tasted gritty and odd. We had some chemical-tasting lobster tails on the chilled seafood platter. And there have been a couple of other issues that I can't recall. AND, let me say that management has been 100% awesome and that is why I am giving the Murray Utah location of Red Lobster five stars in this review. They are always happy to hear what may not have been up to their standards and they ALWAYS make it right. Now for the great stuff. We love the Walt's Shrimp and often get a platter of it for our family for dinner. At $19.99 it's a great value. It comes with enough seafood sauce to cover everything, so there's no need to order a second one. The platter also comes with a lot of biscuits. We can never eat them all. The Friday fish and chips special is very good. Huge chunk of fish that is fried and not greasy. Appropriate amount of tartar sauce. Good coleslaw and fries. We like the coconut shrimp but it doesn't warm up as well as Walt's Shrimp, so we tend to get the coconut shrimp appetizer instead of the platter because we can eat all of it with no leftovers. We always get extra sauce because we love that stuff and probably eat far too much of it. The clam chowder is good. I don't recommend the lobster bisque. We tried the chilled seafood platter when it first came out. We liked the shrimp, LOVED the crab and as mentioned above, didn't like all the lobster tails. The manager said that this was probably from cooking the lobster tails in a smaller pot with a full package of Old Bay seasoning and that next time they would add more water. We haven't tried this again but it sounds like that would make it better. We are social distancing hard these days and Red Lobster helps make that easier. Try the delivery or to go! New one page post COVID menu that is just not good. They no longer serve salads and they have a weak attempt at a " bowl" menu that consists of cold canned black beans and rice with shrimp. It's supposed to include avocado but our server said they haven't been able to get any so they just serve it without.....perhaps they think diners won't notice. I did speak to a manager who said their menu is set by corporate. Seems like their brain is too far from their moving parts....think dinosaurs!!!! Service was good but the food sucks. read more

So I just went to the restaurant ordered and waited. They were really nice taking my order and told me how long it would take, even offered me some ice water while I waited. They were really fast and I was back to the hotel so quick my wife was shocked. We ordered jumbo coconut shrimp that were really good with the pina colada sauce. They were so big my wife could not eat all of hers and I was not able to eat my side orders because I was too full. Other than trying the phone ordering, the service and meal were great. Always love the Darden restaurants. The service, food and atmosphere are always consistent. I was greeted by the front door hostess who was extremely smiley and welcoming! I took a seat in the bar where I always do when I am dining alone. Immediately I was greeted by Alan, the bartender. He took a drink order and brought me some of those awesome cheddar bay biscuits. It was crabfest, so I ordered the 1.5 pounds of snow crab with corn and broccoli. As usual a small green salad preceded my meal and it was nice and fresh. I got my food a short while later and it too was delicious. All to many times, the crab is over steamed and dry, but they seemed to get it right today. I would recommend another plate for the shells however. I wasn't able to enjoy my broccoli. I was too full for dessert so I finished up and went on my merry way! I actually attempted to send this directly to Red Lobster and keep it off social media, I wanted to give them a chance to make it right but I never heard from anyone so I'm sharing my disappointing visit to Red Lobster Sugarhouse (Salt Lake City) here for all to see. Hopefully it'll prompt a response. As I stated above, this was an extreme disappointment, actually the worst I've ever had, culminating in an unpleasant exchange with the MOD, Monica. The evening began with a bit of a wait to be greeted. Granted it was late, 8:30 PM to be exact, but still 30 minutes before closing with plenty of other diners in the restaurant. Once greeted we did have to wait for a table. Again, not a huge deal but worth noting in case the issues we ran into were because the service was close to closing. We noticed immediately that the server was very tied up while I witnessed plenty of other staff cleaning tables and generally getting ready to wrap up the night. Our server (I believe her name was Valerie) was very pleasant and after a few minutes let us know she'd be with us shortly. When we ordered we found out that the restaurant was out of 1 of my side choices, broccoli. I'm trying to eat healthy so I asked if I could substitute a salad w/out paying the premium charge since there was no other healthy vegetable side. She let me know it was her first day and she wasn't sure. She did check and came back to tell me they would have to charge me the premium price. I feel this was very short sided but I know that wasn't her so I said fine. We also ordered a bottle of the $19.99 Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. Our salads were brought to us and only after that did our server come back and tell us that they were out of the wine. I was not given an opportunity to order another at that price so I ordered just a single glass. I did tell her that the wine was the most important, I was half kidding. Since we were near the kitchen we could hear our server being ordered to clean tables, do side work, etc. by who appeared to be supervisors. In my opinion, they were more concerned with this than making sure our table was taken care of. There were a couple of checks on us by Valerie, each time surprised I didn't have my wine. Our entrees came and still no wine. She came back out towards the end and I did tell her to forget it, at this point it was far too late. On my way out I asked for the Manager on Duty and was pointed to a lady behind the to go stand counting money. She barely looked at me, not stopping what she was doing (occasionally looking up) as I proceeded to tell her what a disappointment it was. There were no apologies and little attention paid to me and definitely no questions asked. I proceeded to explain what happened and again, she didn't seem to care. At this point I was so frustrated I started to walk away letting her know I would be sharing this feedback. Honestly I was really dumbfounded at her lack of concern. I asked why she didn't come visit our table and her response was that she didn't know there was any issue. Really, as the MOD you don't come around and check on tables or send someone in your place? I asked her if she seriously wasn't going to ask my name or make it right. She then put it on me and said I was walking away. Well of course I was, wouldn't anyone who wasn't having any attention paid to them. This is where I got really frustrated and asked for her name. She wouldn't give it to me. I turned and found 2 young employees (assuming servers but maybe not) waiting at the door. We walked out together and they apologized and said that they hoped I'd be back. I was amazed! These 2 young girls knew enough to apologize and ask for me to return and the MOD didn't have the customer service sense to do the same. I told them I truly appreciated this and that our server was great but that exchange turned an unfortunate night into something horrible. I asked her name and told me it was Monica. They may be the only reason I return. I don't feel I am an unreasonable customer and I truly hope you take my comments to heart. I realize Red Lobster is not five start dining and I don't expect that but when I spend over $60 on a meal with no alcohol I do expect some appreciation for my business. We came in for lunch today, and it could have been better. The manager sat us and took our orders. We ordered cocktail drinks from her, but it took about 30 minutes to get them. Our waitress started to tend us instead, including a bunch of other tables. It seemed as if she was the only one serving tables. She was running around and trying to meet every tables needs. Our food took a long time and it was cold. The waitress apologized repeatedly, she tried the best she can under the circumstances. I don't know what the situation was today, but for a Saturday, I assumed there would be more employees here. We usually go to the one at Murray but we were in the area and we were hungry and decided to stop here. Won't be returning to this location. read more
