In fact my steak was not real hot and my wife's food was cold (gravy) and her broccoli was cold and not really cooked! The salads were about half the size of normal that we usually get. I love this steak house. I'm not typically a fan of giant chains, but these guys are great. The food is always delicious. My wife always goes for the ribeye steak, but my personal favorite is the chicken fried steak. One of the best I've had anywhere. My wife and I have recently changed our eating habits. We are on the Ketogenic diet. This is a quite restrictive diet Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients. On the few items that he did not readily have the answer, he went above and beyond to get those answers as quickly as Possible. I tried the loaded baked potato - wasn't any warmth at all. Sour Cream - butter - cheese - nothing is "melting" - it can't - the potato is not warm at all. Not cold, but not warm either. Strike three - you're out. I appreciate that you tried to "remake it" - but by the time the server circled around to find out my meal was unacceptable and took it back to re-make.. the kitchen took so long (were they actually cooking the chicken? Heating the potato in the microwave?) - that EVERYONE was finished with their meal. When it came out - we just boxed it up and sent it home with someone else - I was headed to the airport and didn't think it was worth sticking in my carry-on. At least you took that one off my bill - and my bad for not complaining about the entire meal. Cool gravy - cool mac-and-cheese - nuggets ... Oh well... The steak and baked sweet potatoes are very delicious. The bread roll with cinnamon butter is superb! My kids loves it. We waited for 30 minutes to get seated due to busy at that time. But the food came faster than we expected. I just want to let the waitress know she did a superb job, even though my son didn't get his French fries with cheese as one of the side dish she still a very friendly and jolly person (I wish I could remember your name). I recently tried to put my family and i(3people) on the waitlist and i show up when it tells me to and i go inside to check us in and the person tells me it's still going to be an hour wait. when i put us on the wait list it said "30-40 minutes " i showed up exactly 30 minutes later and then the person proceeds to tell me it's still going to be a 1hr wait still. if this is how it's going to be why have an online waiting list? read more

We love Texas Roadhouse but tonight's service was absolutely horrible!! We were seated and orders were taken right away. We did not receive our appetizers (we even asked about them), side salads came out (missing one), we had to get our own silverware bc we still didn't have any when salads came out and after over an hour wait for our food we asked for our plates to be put in to go boxes. We decided to visit Texas Roadhouse because of the convenience of location to our home. Overall, food is just a whole lot of a-ok. We got a Rib-Eye with Mashed Potatoes & White Gravy and a House Salad and Sirloin Steak with Mashed Potatoes & Brown Gravy and a Caesar Salad. We went here while running errands in Bountiful. I am a sucker for their rolls with honey butter and I wanted a good steak. Waitress was excellent- a little frazzled but I completely understand. We showed up and were promptly seated. Not sure why there was so many people waiting for a table or if that was for takeout or what. Ordered a sirloin steak, medium, with mashed potatoes and a caesar salad (my usual). Salad was good and potatoes were well done. However, my steak was a bit on the rare side, like rare not just medium rare and I'm always surprised at how Texas Roadhouse steaks are always more fatty than at other restaurants. However, the service was efficient, food came quickly and was mostly good, so I'd probably go back. First we sat in the parking lot in the cold and watched employees go in and out for a half hour before their opening time which should have been 4:00. The meat has some sort of smoke seasoning on it - enough to ruin the natural flavor of the meat! Had I known this, I would not have ordered the dish. It's the only way prime rib is prepared at TR. Took the family here on a Sunday afternoon after visiting the Hunting Expo. Seemed to be a good fit after such an occasion. There were 7 of us which means we all had to crowd into a booth because they don't have tables that fit more than 6 I guess. Something to keep in mind if you plan to visit with a larger group. We ordered the onion blossom which was pretty typical. We did have to ask for more blossom sauce half way through because the little come they give you doesn't contain very much for that whole blossom. Our group had sirloins which were quite flavorful and tender for a sirloin. The ribs were fall off the bone just as the server described. Salads were just meh. Didn't have a lot in them. Burger was pretty decent. Kids meals were great! They were huge! Rolls as always...probably the best part of the meal. Service was somewhat lacking. Our server seemed really bored and another server that helped her seemed a bit put off by having to help. Unfortunately, service is a huge part of the experience and if I feel scared to ask for something because you seem to be annoyed, your establishment will lose points. There probably needs to be some more training in this area. We would go back but it wouldn't be our first choice I think. Today I went with my family to this Texas Roadhouse. When we got there everything was fine until they gave us our plates. The whole stack of plates they gave us were wet! Each one was wet. One of them even still had food on it from the last person to eat on it! When we told the waiter they were all wet she said to us she would go find us a rag so we could dry them ourselves! Then once our waiter took our order she didn't go out in our order into the computer she went around and took other people's order and then put the orders in. She put our order in last even though we were the first to tell her our order. Everyone else had gotten their food except us. And some of those people got there like ten minutes after us. Because it was our first time they gave us complimentary ribs to try which were fall apart divine. I am not a fan of themed restaurants, they are always so busy and noisy. There is a funny thing about me and my husband, we are generally not fanatic fans of big corporate restaurants, yet, here we are on a mission to eat at Texas Roadhouse on our road trip. Why? We fell in love back in 2008, the kind of love that gets you locked up. We loved the charred steaks at the California location, but we were only there a few months for work. Came home to Oregon to find there was going to be no more love. The mourning process began. But wait, I am from Louisville Ky, that is where Texas Roadhouse started, (not Texas, people) and we are on vacation visiting family and wow, we get to go again. Great experience, but that was a few years ago. I figured out shortly before my trip, we could map Texas roadhouse, through five states and hit them all. Stalker status just achieved, awesome. Glad we are hiking in the national parks to keep pace and butts able to fit in the car seat. We got lost, and got off in Bountiful, UT too soon at our interchange, and right at the light was a Texas Roadhouse sign calling us home. We had not planned on hitting this one, but it would due. It was surreal, it was such a dream to be back, would it be as good, since we had been dating another steak house at home, Sayler's, a family owned steakhouse since 1943, with their hand cut steaks and family working the counters who know our names and give us free steak dinner's at Christmas. Could this chain food still be the love that got away? It was still good, a little marred by the new steakhouse's thick cut steaks, but still the love we remembered. We both got the rib eye steak. It was tender and seasoned well. Just what I had in mind. The only let down was the rolls, they were not buttered shiny on top and they were kind of hard like they had been sitting there alone ALL day. This was the first one we hit, and since then we hit two more and the rolls were a lot bigger than this location. Not sure why, but it is about the steak not the rolls. We didn't have to wait, we walked right in and got a table, it was surely meant to be. We had waited up to two hours in California and an hour and a half in Kentucky. This was some kind of voodoo magic surfacing. They were busy but our waiter was on top of his game, refilling our tea before it even hit half. I was impressed with this location and am not going to apologize for my love of this place, you either love it or you don't. You know when you go, what it is, loud music, peanuts flying, kids crying and wait staff line dancing. This is probably my favorite Texas Roadhouse location. I have been here numerous times and not once have I had a negative experience. They are always quick to get us seated; Especially if you call ahead! This location always has my Lime Ricky, which is probably my second favorite thing next to the Rolls of course! I have been to other locations that don't have Lime Ricky which is weird to me but hey makes this location unique and number 1 in my book. The fact that I have not had my food messed up once, or it come out wrong ( knock on wood) ;) That is something to me. A company taking pride in what they do and the service they are providing is a company that I plan to let everyone know about! On this specific night I got the BBQ chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes. Ohh those mashed potatoes... so good. I love it with the brown gravy better then the white. I'm just not that much for the cream based dressings. The chicken was so yummy, super juicy and tender, I hate dried chicken. Their BBQ sauce is awesome and that is probably my number one go to meal when I go here. I have had their ribs, prime rib, steak ect.. and all is really good, especially at this location! If you are looking for a fun time, with amazing food and some of the best rolls you will ever have you can't go wrong at this location! The food and service received at this restaurant is deplorable and I EXTREMELY recommend ANYWHERE ELSE!! I and two of my friends arrived just this past Saturday night shortly after 8 pm. It wasn't busy, as the dinner rush had died down quite a bit. We were seated after only waiting a few moments, which was great. A young brunette in pig tails explained she won't be our server, but was helping out and would take our order. We all gave our order which included three steak dinners, all medium well, with an accompanying beer, a water, and frosted mugs, as offered by the young woman. About 10 minutes go by when we're finally greeted by our actual server bringing our drinks. We were all so relieved to finally start getting our items that we didn't realize ALL of our beer preferences were wrong, our waters didn't come with, and our mugs were also missing! After another 20 minutes, we started to receive portions of our meals. We were also given the ability to ask where our waters and frosted mugs were (only to find out they don't have any mugs, as suggested by the original server) and bring up the incorrect drinks. We had been waiting so long that we already started drinking them, so returning them to be exchanged for the correct choice wasn't necessary, but we'd like the proper drinks next go-around. What my friend received was a cold bowl of chili with a clump of cheese stacked on top. Hardly appetizing. Another 15 minutes go by, and our actual steaks arrived! We were met with a choice steak with 75% fat, and two Dallas steaks (both asked to be cooked medium well), that were so RARE that they could have still been mooing! Needless to say, we were done at that point. We showed our atrocious meals to the server, and were NOT met with any sort of apologetic demeanor, nor were we offered any sort of waiver of the piss-poor meal. FINALLY after several minutes of explanation did we at least get our ALSO undercooked appetizer waived! I would NEVER recommend this restaurant, or any of its locations, nor would I ever attend one again! This was my very first and VERY last stop at the Texas Roadhouse. She helped us get a the "Dine Early" price, brought my daughter a free birthday sundae, made sure we had everything we needed and was just a nice person. The food was really good.
