For those who have been on the hunt for a legit and reliable Dynojet shop in the Bay Area, you guys know the struggle is real! I've searched around on Google, Yelp, Dynojet website, and various car forums for a viable Dynojet shop -- it took me quite a while to find this hidden gem located at the top of the hill inside Sonoma Raceway, but I'm sure glad I did. Tim (owner), Chris, and most especially Pablo are best in class when it comes to customer service and accommodating their prospective clients on a last minute basis. I came here twice to get my 2017 M3 dyno'd within a week's time: First visit: I explained to Pablo that I was on a time crunch, and needed to be done within 45 minutes. Mind you, I was 15 minutes late for my appointment due to unexpected traffic. Pablo said not to worry, and that they'll be able to get me in and out in less than 45 minutes. Well, Pablo not only met his commitment, but over delivered by getting me in and out (strapped/unstrapped) with 5 dyno pulls in less than 40 minutes. That was with a little bit of car chit chat in between. Second visit: I called two days ahead this time, and invited two of my friends (E90 M3, F82 M4) to join in on the dyno fun with their own cars. Chris and Pablo again were very accommodating, and were able to squeeze all 3 of us in less than 3 hours. All in all, I'm very happy I came across this shop. I had a late afternoon appointment for an alignment. Tim (shop owner/operator) greeted me with a friendly, greasy handshake and immediately begun work on my ride. The floor of the shop is perforated plastic mat and gives the impression of cleanliness. His buddy was working on a race ready E30 3 series in the back of the shop. To my enjoyment, the sound track to my alignment was Punk Rock. Tim was happily rockin' out while I was inundating him with various questions which emanated from my overly-inquisitive mechanical engineering background. Like a good driving instructor, he was patient with my deluge of inquiries. When my car's numbers showed up on the alignment machine's computer screen, he explained each of the numbers. When Tim finished printing out my alignment numbers, he told me to test drive the car up and down the parking lot to ensure the steering wheel is straight. Since it wasn't, he gladly brought out the wrenches and gave my car a slight tweak. Although my steering wheel is still slightly off to the left now, I did not want to keep him any later into the evening. A black SUV pulled up while I was test driving and as it turned out, his Pops was taking him out to a belated family Thanksgiving dinner. How many folks are happy to assist customers when their Old Man is waiting on them for dinner! What a guy! :::::Amendment:::: ----- I re-aligned my front toe about 6 months after this alignment and found that my driver's side tie rod was turned all the way in. There was also toe out on the passenger side. Also, the steering wheel was not pointing straight. These symptoms and my installation of new front shocks, prompted me to get another alignment, which found all the tie-rods twisted out of whack. Never just tweak in the alignment w/o hooking up to an alignment machine. Nothing beats a proper alignment using a digital readout. TFB's intentions were good, but the execution was flawed after all. That's what I get for getting an alignment near Thanksgiving. =P read more

Tim spent all day working on my 2006 Corvette getting the alignment and corner balance done. My car is not stock and a lot of the changes are in how the alignment is performed. Tim took it all in stride, including getting another shop at the raceway to build some one-off parts in order to pull the alignment in to exactly my specs. In spending this much time on my car Tim knew he was delaying work on other cars that would keep him late at the shop on a Friday night and he still performed all the work down to the tenth of a millimeter (1/256 of an inch!) and to the hundreth of a degree. I was referred to Tim Barber (TFB Performance) about 1 year ago when I asked a trusted friend for a recommendation on somewhere I could rent a race prepared, fun car to drive on-track as well as a place that might offer coaching. I had previously done track-days, but had never had any experience racing. I can't say enough about what a great job TFB has done. I have now had the pleasure of using TFB's services at various SCCA and NASA events (and soon, the Pirelli cup) for a little more than a year.
