I told them I needed a diagnostic and that the battery was new. They never ran the diagnostic, but instead charged me over $200.00 for getting another battery and putting it in. I could have, (and previously did), done that myself. Meanwhile, my car continued to have starting problems because they did not take the time to find out what the real problem was. Miguel was very informative from the beginning about what they would try to do to save my engine and what the backup plan was, and it turned out they could get my car running again while salvaging my existing engine and replacing major components. Miguel was honest and realistic about the time estimate and how long it would take, everything happened within the time frame that he communicated to me upfront, and they somehow managed to save my car staying within the budget and time frame that he had communicated to me. Hearing my car start again after more than two months being without it was a pretty amazing feeling, and now I feel like I can trust Metric Motors to do literally any job on my vehicle no matter how big or small.
