Trio Sample Platter w/ Loaded Potato Skins, potstickers, and buffalo wings
    Janae T.

The restaurant was somewhat empty and our service took a long time, but overall I ordered the strawberry Hennessy drink and the trio sample platter with loaded baked potatoes, pot stickers and traditional buffalo wings. Everything was great and the food was still hot but it took forever to get everything, even the bill.

    Not worth ordering

Came to the bar area for a beer and dinner. Staff was friendly but sweating. Bad start. Staff was great but the temperature in the restaurant inside had to be in the upper 80. Staff confirmed that this is an ongoing problem. Then the food arrived. I had the rib and chicken combo with Mac and cheese and coleslaw The MAC and cheese resemble something ok. The coleslaw was industrial at best. The rib did not want to stay anywhere near the bone. The chicken was thin with no taste. Please turn th AC back on.

They have the best happy hour in town. I love the $5 Long Islands. The ambiance is great and I love the music they play. Artemis was great, I recommend requesting him.

We received a '25% off Your Entire Purchase' code for only this weekend. We found this being the closest TGI Fridays from the IAD Airport. It located in the Worldgate Centre at the corner of Worldgate Drive and Centreville Road. The store had only about ten tables or booths seated, so we did not wait. The $16.49 Pick-3 Combo appetizer of Truffle Tot-Chos, Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, and Boneless Wings were a good start. The $15.99 6oz Grilled Salmon seemed lighter than it should be. The $14.99 Half-Rack Big Ribs were in good taste. We did have the complimentary Chips and Salsa as Fridays Rewards member. However, the waiter did not know how to process the 25% discount code! We ended up paying the entire full priced bill! Please look at the attached bill: The XA3GTGK was supposed to be applied on the entire purchase, but was only applied on the cheapest item - Chips and Salsa, which was complimentary free to us anyway! We should have $11.87 taken out over the $47.47 of Combo appetizer, Salmon, and Big Ribbs! We tried to explain the 25% code was for the entire check, but the waiter kept pointing to that 3.75- and asked us: Do you understand? Do you understand? After a long day of travel, we were very tired, so just paid that in full with 18% tips then heading home unhappily and unsatisfied.

    Raw Chicken. Avoid.

RAW CHICKEN. That's really all you need to know about this place. Avoid at all costs unless you're into foodborne illness. Haven't been in years, remembered it being acceptable, but decided to give takeout a shot tonight. The salad tasted off, the steak was decent (but a bit chewy), and that's where the "good" ends. The whiskey chicken "strips" were more like popcorn shrimp... the entire appetizer was about the size of 1, maybe 2, chicken tenders from the last time I had Fridays. They were so-so at best. However, the main attraction, the boneless buffalo wings were absolutely raw inside. See the attached picture for proof. This is unbelievably dangerous, careless, and disgusting. What's just as bad however was the complete lack of surprise about the situation. They asked to cook them again, which I declined, and I asked for a refund. After several minutes of them leaving me waiting in the lobby for a bit they finally said that I'd get a refund for the item in 2-3 days. No paper trail whatsoever, no manager was willing to come out, no remorse, nothing. I would bet good money that I won't be getting any refund from them, they made it pretty clear they didn't care and just wanted me to go away which is fine... last time I ever eat at any TGIF, this one or otherwise. So yeah, avoid this place.

Aqsa was a great bartender and super friendly. It was a really great vibe being here and the food was made to perfection. The pour on the beers was perfect.

This place is the absolute worst! When ordering from them on delivery services as well! The two times I ordered I had missing items each time and now just found a long hair wrapped up in my pasta! Don't go here!

It has a comfortable, slightly dim-lit, bar vibe, with multiple tv screens. Neither of us wanted "traditional" Irish fare - hubs ordered a cheeseburger with fries. He really enjoyed the burger and I can confirm that the fries were delicious. I ordered quesadillas - couldn't resist just seeing how they did them. They were quite flavorful and the house-made salsa was just spicy enough. Great place for casual date night or just catching up with friends.

There is lots of seating in the outside patio as well. They do a lot of themed events almost every night = burger night, trivia..! There are free line dancing lessons offered by a cool instructor. The dance floor is a pretty good size and fills up. The service was poor- I had to hunt down our server Cory three different times. He kept forgetting the lemons for our salmon dish and waters despite his saying lemons coming right up. We asked his assistant who brought out the entrees and salads for the same - he came back after 6 minutes with a tiny slice of lemon for 4 people, then ran away! The food was average. I ordered a bowl of the Potato Leek soup for $8 and was looking forward to it. Out came a bowl maybe a 1/3 full ( literally five soup spoonfuls). I asked Cory if that was a mistake or a kid's portion and his hilarious response was classic, " Oh we are precise. We measure the soup with a serving ladle and only put this much so it won't splash or spill." The salmon add on (for $10)on the house salad was so so. I was on the floor cracking up. $32 plus tip average per person and I was still hungry. I will not be back for the food. Definitely for the dancing in my new Stetson El Presidente Premium 100X Hat. It looked like fun.

I came here purely for…read morea gathering of friends not planning to eat but after peeking at their menu and seeing their burger options I felt the need to try them out. Lots of options but the one that really stood out to me was one called "Fat Elvis", which comes stacked with American and cheddar cheese, spicy candied bacon, banana compote, and peanut butter. Yes, you read that right--peanut butter. This ain't my first rodeo trying peanut on a burger so trust me when I say somehow, it totally works. The sweet-and-savory combo is bold, a little outrageous, and absolutely delicious. The banana compote adds a warm, caramelized depth, the bacon brings a little heat and crunch, and the peanut butter ties it all together in the richest, most unexpected way. The patties themselves were juicy and cooked just right, and the bun held everything together without getting soggy. Bonus points for the generous portion--it's a two-hander for sure. I opted for a side salad instead of fries (balance, right?) and even that was fresh and full of color, topped with shredded cheese, red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and crunchy croutons. The ranch dressing was a little thin and not quite as creamy as I'm used to but was good. Check out my photos if you want a visual warning of what you're getting into. Spoiler: it's a glorious mess, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. If you're into Elvis, wild flavor combos, or just love a burger that dares to be different, you need to try this. Side note: ended up ordering a bunch more food to go that I didn't get pictures of, wife got a CYO burger she devoured, I ordered some of their tacos which while a little pricey, the portion size and flavor of the quesabirria ones made up for it, even tried out some of their wings with the smoked lemon pepper dry rub and we're pretty solid even warmed up the next day. Lots of food options and may end up going back sometime to try some more things out. Service was great as well, place was jam packed but they had plenty of staff to stay attentive and keep things moving.

The free popcorn still isn't good or all that enjoyable, service can be hit or miss, drinks are expensive, and the food is very good. The Reston location does have plenty of large TVs, making it a solid place to catch a game. This was a guys' night out for food and drinks, but it's probably not going to become a regular meetup spot when a couple of easy changes could make a big difference. First, get rid of the popcorn, it's honestly laughable. Second, bring the drink prices down. A Wild Turkey and Coke shouldn't cost $14. We started with something to share. My biggest concern was value for the price, and the menu only had a few appetizers that felt both shareable and reasonably priced. The Bavarian Pretzel was good, although I wasn't a fan of the mustard dip. At $10, it's a decent value for two or three people. The chili nachos were tasty, but $18 is just too much for what you get. Even if they doubled the chips and chili, I'd still think they were overpriced by a couple of dollars. I'll definitely give them credit for the entrées. On my last visit I had the jambalaya, which was excellent. This time I ordered the Peruvian-spiced half chicken, and it was fantastic. I ended up spending almost $100. I had a good time and enjoyed the food, but Open Road has moved into my "splurge" category rather than my monthly hangout spot. Our server may have been new because service was slow, and the kitchen was also taking a long time to get food out, especially for a Friday night. I'm giving the Reston location four stars, just like Arlington. The food was tasty, I had a good time, and I'd come back, ... but.... the little things, especially the drink prices, lopsided menu pricing, and inconsistent service, keep it from being one of my spontaneous go-to spots.
