Disappointed! I ordered thru delivery, I got drunken noodle and Pad Thai. Drunken noodle was plain the cooker forgot the sauce the noodle still "WHITE" I called and they just said "Oh call doordash to get a refund" I didnt want money back I wanted good delicious food. Well, I believe my wife and I have finally found a really good SoCal/IE area Thai restaurant to substitute for our beloved Thai restaurant, "Archi's" when we lived in Las Vegas. This past Father's Day, we dropped by around 7 PM to check this place out. It's a small establishment with maybe 6 tables lines up against the wall that has a continuous padded bench style seating with some small throw pillows at each table as well. There are also several tables across the room. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and seated immediately. There were two other families present enjoying their dinners. We ordered a plate of Fried Calamari, Pad Thai, Basil Beef, Pineapple Rice, and a daily special, "Seafood Delight". Because I'm the only one in our family that likes really spicy food, we ordered everything else at a level zero (pineapple rice and pad thai for our son's palates) while the basil beef and seafood delight at a level two for the wife (who was already stressing what tis restaurant chef's interpretation of level 2 is) and me. The fried calamari arrived hot, lightly battered, almost tempura like, and non-greasy. A sauce that looked like a thinned out version of Mae Ploy sauce was great for dipping the squid in. Hot squid with a slightly sweet and mildly spicy sauce. Yum! The other dishes soon arrived. All were decent sized portions for the price. The pineapple rice was really good! It's the first Thai restaurant we have eaten at that is so genereous with the meat, which in this case was chicken. There were huge chunks of chicken in this version, which was not too sweet and sticky and mildly spiced with curry. We enjoyed the rice here. The pad thai was delicious! We all admitted that this was better than Archi's version, our two sons could not stop eating this dish! The noodles were all separate and not clinging together in one giant mass of stickiness. The balance of sweet, sour, and seasoning was awesome!!! The basil beef arrived was was delicious as well. A level 2 for spiciness was not spicy at all though originally my wife thought the dish was spicy, but we later ascertained it was the seafood delight that was the culprit. The seafood delight special consisted of calalmari, fish chunks, a couple of mussels and a handful of shrimp. It was cooked a a sauce that was both sweet and spicy (at level 2 per our request). I was not paying attention at first when I chewed on what I thought was a sliver of zucchini or other green veggie in the dish. I soon ascertained that it was rather a sliver of a jalapeno or other hot chile that was included in te dish. That little sliver of green was pretty hot! But we both enjoyed this sopecial and would order it again if it was offered by the chef. A large bowl of steamed rice was also provided with our dnner which was great for absorbing the myriad of flavors on my plate. Our serving staff, which I am surmising is the husband/wife/owners were always gracious and attentive. The gentleman even brought me a variety of different condiments for me to add more spiciness to my plate servings. Earlier in our meal, one of our sons mentioned how cold he was, because the AC was set pretty low in the restaurant. I was pretty impressed that the female owneer/hostess/waitress came to our table and asked if we were to cold and should she change the AC setting. We told her we were ok, and thanked her for her concern. I was touched by her desire to make sure her guests were comfortable though it might have impacted othere guests and employees who were not as cold. I was even more suprised that she heard our son's complaint since we were sitting next to the fish tank and there was no other employee within earshot of us to hear him. Our pre-tip bill was about $61, which included 3 soft drinks (served in 12 oz. cans) and one regular iced tea, with refills. Even though they closed at 8 PM the night, we never felt rushed to finish our dinners so the satff could go home, and I noted the same for another family that arrived to eat around 1945. I observed printed on their takeout menus that this restaurant is "The latest venture of Thai Original BBQ Cerritos" and lists the Cerritos location. My wife and I are so glad to have found this thai gem through Yelp so clsoe to our residence. We'll definitely be returning here and bringing our family and friends who we used to take to Archi's as well. read more

This is quaint little place near the Fresh n Easy in Murrieta and is like a hidden gem. Although small enough to only host about 8 parties, it looks clean and modern. There seems to be some little modern fusioon on some of the dishes like Thai fries. I didn't try them this time, but probably the next. We had calamari = delicious with sweet sauce beef sate = good but not amazing drunken noodles = noodles sort of chewy and wish I just got pad thai chicken yellow curry = good tasting curry and FBI (Fried banana ice cream) = 1 small piece of fried banana cut in half with coconut ice cream that tasted more icy than creamy. Coulda skipped it. Would go again but don't expect an authentic Thai experience. read more

Yellow Curry - Awesome Phad Thai Noodles - a little sweet but very good Combination Rice - chicken was a bit dry but overall the rice and other meat had good flavor. A little lite on the Shrimp and heavy on the chicken... Need a balance. Drunken Noodles with Beef - awesome! BBQ Ribs - great flavor and very tender Calamari - fantastic.... Dipping sauce was very good. We had two orders. Garlic Fries - kids loved these and so did we. All of this plus 4 drinks and we spent $78 with tip! Small place place with a good vibe... A customer from my work recommended this place and, sadly they were far off the mark. Down the street from my mom's, is one of the best Thai food, places outside of LA. This place was no where near that quality of food. My favorite soup is the Tom Kha soup (coconut soup) I order it at every Thai restaurant, I've ever been. This one was inedible...it looked curdled and chunky. The smell was funky too. We also got the pad se ew it was ok, not very flavorful and the broccoli was very overdone. We ordered to go and, they forgot to put our peanut sauce in the bag which, I usually mix in the pad se ew so, that was already disappointing. My boyfriend already dislikes Thai cuisine so, convincing him to try this place was already a battle...doesn't look like I will be winning that battle again anytime soon. I ordered the Beef Rendang, Orange Chicken, Eggrolls, Beef Sate with House Fried Rice and Chicken Sate. The Beef Rendang was my favorite part. The spice level was perfect and the flavor was rich. However, the eggrolls were what I was really craving and I was so disappointed. They were lacking flavor and no vermicelli noodles in them at all. The Orange Chicken had great flavor but was dry! Both Sates were delicious but the House Fried Rice looked like Mexican Rice and missed Thai flavors. I would not come back to this place myself. This used to be one of our favorite spots for Thai food. The problem is that this place started to charge crazy amounts for little things such as extra rice. If you order a dish like the duck curry you get a bowl with curry with lots of sauce and a tiny bowl of rice that's maybe 1/3 of the size. Naturally, you'll need more rice unless you want to just flat out drink the curry. When you get the bill at the end of the meal you discover they charged $4 extra for a tiny extra bowl of rice. Same story with something like a squid salad. It comes covered with so much sauce that we asked for a small side of dry salad, that's another upcharge of a couple of dollars. The food is and has been delicious, however this new way of constant pickpocketing left a sour aftertaste which eventually ruins the experience no matter how tasty the food is. If you ask for any sides make sure to ask them how much they upcharge to determine if it's reasonable as they did not disclose to us at all. read more

Their food is awesome and so is the service IF your not in a rush, family style atmosphere. There was a second server who came on later on but if your NOT in a hurry this place ROCKS the free world. I ordered the tom kha gai soup... Bad idea. The coconut milk had curdled and the flavor was off. Then I had the thai garlic fries and they were good. Sadly everything else was truly disappointing. The pad thai my friend ordered was way too sweet and we couldn't find the egg or the bean sprouts. My glass noodles had no flavor whatsoever. It honestly tasted of cooking oil and that's it. Not to mention the noodles and the pork were beyond over cooked. The vegetables in the dish were raw and cold. If you are looking for good thai. We had a large party of 20 and tried this place for lunch. None of us have been here before. We ordered a variety of food from their panang curry (fish and shrimp), seafood mix, pad thai, chicken bbq, fried pampano, satay, fried rice and so much more. We shared our food family style. I have tried all the food I mentioned and they were all very yummy. The food were delicious especially the pampano fish. The pad thai was on point. The staff were attentive and were able to provide a wonderful service for our family. None of us live near Murrieta but this was the most centered location where my family could meet. I saw on the menu that they offered gluten free items, so I decided to call to get the low-down...immediately greeted with a helpful, comforting, pleasant person that made my mind feel at ease when ordering items that could make me feel horrible if gluten was present.
