I love having a new Thai restaurant in Anaheim! Located in the Good Food Hall, this place is a great food addition to the little community. We came during the soft opening and ordered pad thai, crab rangoons, yellow curry, and the kai ping. The pad thai was great but definitely could use a bit of spice. It's more on the sweet side when it comes to pad thai. I did love the spice of the yellow curry, however. It was spicy in terms of flavor and actual spice level. The meat and veggies were really well cooked and they provide a side of rice. The kai ping was also really good! I love the cut of chicken they use. It's very tender and really well sauced. And the crab rangoons were filled to the brim. I loved how much filling there was and how it combines with the chili sauce. Kevin and Nicki were so sweet and even gave us thai tea for free. A new addition to the Center Street Anaheim, Good Food Food Hall. It's been open for about a month. The owner, Kevin, and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious. The portions are good for the price, worth it. We tried this place 3 times, and each time, the food was consistently good. All the food is freshly made, prepared when you order it. However, the wait is short. Food comes out steaming hot, wok hai. I hate Pad Thai that is pre-made. Yes, there are places that do that and reheat. This is not one of those places. Fresh is the common theme here. All the vegetables, including the bean sprouts, are crunchy and not limp. I like the chew of the soft rice noodle contrasting with the crunchy bean sprouts. The seasonings are also perfect in that you can taste all the different spices and aromas associated with each particular dish. I ordered our food mild, and it's a perfect amount of spice for us. The Pad Thai has options of vegetarian or different protein choices. We've had the vegetarian, chicken, and crispy pork belly versions. Our favorite is the crispy pork belly, who doesn't like crispy pork belly, put it in everything! The Panang curry is so fragrant. I love the sauce and can just eat the sauce alone with hot rice. It comes with rice. Will definitely come back and try other menu items. Good Food Food Hall has plenty of parking on the street and is right next to Craft by Smoke and Fire. The food was delicious. We ordered the Pad Thai and Pad See Yew. On recommendation by staff we ordered the crispy pork stir fry and it was awesome. The service was excellent. The ambiance is open and cafeteria style. You order, pick your table, but the food is brought out to you. We sat close so staff was able to locate us fairly quickly, but if you sit outside or further away from the food booth, they may get lost looking for you. Definitely recommend. read more

My experience only. The Chicken Pad Thai was overly sweet, while missing the char, tangy flavor I'm used too. For some reason the chicken was very hard and rubbery. Couldn't finish it. I am so impressed with this restaurant! We ordered for the first time from their restaurant off of Uber Eats. Once the food was delivered, I realized we were missing a dish. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the gentleman immediately said we will bring it to your house. He quickly arrived with the food and genuinely apologized. He also brought us mango sticky rice for the trouble. Any other time this has happened with other restaurants, they only say "you can come pick it up from the restaurant." The food is really tasty, super flavorful. The dishes are really, really good. The atmosphere isn't bad either--it's like a food court. What I didn't like was the portion size for the price. It's not that the prices are too expensive, but the portions are pretty small. There were three of us, and we had to order a lot... The plates are meant to be shared, but when I ordered a large soup, it came in a bowl that was just for one person. The dishes themselves also aren't that big, so we had to order multiple appetizers and plates to feel full. That's the only thing I wasn't happy about, but the food is definitely delicious. I absolutely love the thai tea and the beef salad. It is conveniently close to a lot of shopping areas.
