    Green apple salad

Although the outside didn't look that appealing the inside was very Thai, the service was awesome and the food was amazing. The green apple salad was unique. Very flavorful with lots of different textures. My husband had the drunken noodles and pronounced them best ever. My eggplant dish was just right spicy. Portions were generous so we had enough for a second meal. Unfortunately we were just visiting or this would be our new favorite place.

Chef's special Pad craw praw & Garlic pepper - superb. Medium is a decent level and Hot may be a bit much for most people

Hands down best Thai spot in the Ken Caryl area with great food and fast takeout service. There's a very relaxing ambiance with dim lighting, Thai-inspired decor, and a beautifully inviting bar area. The real highlight of this place is the authentic dishes. We try to order something new each time and so far we've had the chef specials, peanut curry, panang, Thai spice & Tom Kha soup. Thai is my favorite and I've had it all over the country, the flavors at Thai Bistro are spot on. I always go with hot as my spice level but that can definitely be a bit much to those with low tolerance. The staff is always friendly and thorough, making the whole experience quick and convenient. Try it out :)

Always enjoy my meals here, and even my takeout. Usually get the Vegetable Delight with chicken which is light and flavorful. It never ever disappoints. The fried basil chicken is also delicious.

I found this place specifically thru Yelp because it was featured on the "Top 100 Sandwiches" list,…read moreso I stopped by with a few friends during my visit to Denver. I must say... it deserves it's recognition. The Banh Mi here is excellent! I got to try the LEMONGRASS GRILLED PORK. The pork is well marinated with a slightly sweet taste. There is a good amount of meat inside. It typically comes with cilantro & jalapeños inside which you can always opt out. But I feel like the sauces & veggies inside paired so well together. The bread is super crunchy that you will be in a bread crumb mess afterwards. But, it's all worth it because it tastes great. My friends all loved it here. For a traditional Banh Mi experience, I would totally recommend this spot. Ordering is super easy. There is a machine in which you can order & pay through there or go straight up to the counter. The food will be ready fairly quick so you can be in & out within a few minutes. And there is a parking out front. So, there is no reason not to try this place.

Service was great, food came fast, but most importantly, the banh mi was hella delicious. I wish it had a few more jalapeño, but I bet it's a local preference thing, and I'm sure if I asked, they would have added. Also, I'm kind of a pig when I am away from home (hence my search for something light), and I'm always concerned a sandwich doesn't fill me up, but I am stuffed. Way more satisfying than a Subway sandwich, although comparing the two is somewhat insulting to this banh mi. I added the combo that provides an egg roll and iced coffee (I was going to buy a coffee for $5 anyways, the combo is $4. No brainer). Coffee is also delicious, and much larger than I thought it would be. TL/DR - Highly recommend this place. I will come again next time I'm in the area. PS - Tables are clean, restrooms are clean. Bonus.

They were also surprisingly good as leftovers the next day, which isn't something you can say about most fries. If you're getting takeout and won't be eating right away, these still hold up really well. Overall, ZOMO is a great spot if you're looking for generous options, flexible portion sizes, and some unique menu items. The taro fries alone are worth the visit.

I am so glad that they are so consistent and have not changed recipes or adjusted seasonings. Ordered our two favorites - pickled pepper beef and mapo tofu. We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

They have some happy hour specials, which is nice, but they weren't very interesting. I ordered a nice 300ml bottle of sake, which should come chilled, and it was decidedly room temperature. The server did bring out an ice bucket to put it in, but it was way too late to chill the bottle. I scoured the menu for specialty rolls that didn't come with loads of gloopy sauces on top and didn't find any. I really despise Americanized sushi rolls that are covered in sauce, but I ordered 2 of the more appetizing-looking ones along with the new style sashimi and salmon sashimi. The new style sashimi was described as coming with cilantro (which is how it usually comes) but there was no cilantro in sight and instead they were covered in copious amounts of jalapeños. The cuts were also pretty butchered, particularly given the cost. The rolls were palatable, but entirely too big for my mouth, which just makes eating a bit like choking. I did receive a small complimentary dessert, which was decently tasty. The server was very friendly, but he sort of forgot about me in the end. With all these things in consideration, I probably won't be back. given the location, I would choose Makizushico for dinner over JP Nori every time.
