i hate to give this 3 star review. I haven't been here for a while and was excited to meet a friend for lunch I ordered the crispy Shrimp salad while i was there and was so disappointed because half the ingredients listed in the description were missing, the total lack of jicama , ginger, crispy onion and crispy taro that was supposed to be in the salad which ended up being just alot of lettuce with 4 fried shrimp and a few pieces of mango and few cashews ... they offered extra mango for that lack of jicama which i accepted. the shrimp were tasty but The salad was not satisfying . . I ordered Pad se ew to go , boy was I disappointed when i opened the box at dinner time ...there was no fresh broccoli or any other recognizable vegetables , that was so wonderful and what I loved in the past about this dish and the chicken was not recognizable! it was not the same as is was in my last review. Nina and I met here for lunch today. We had tried to meet last week but they were closed for kitchen maintenance, so we ended up across the street. Today they were open and when I arrived Nina was sitting at a table w/ menus, a pot of tea and a dish of grapes in front of her. Mam led me to the table. I knew I wanted pad see euw w/ pork since I hadn't had it in a while. Nina opted for eggplant w/ pork from the lunch menu. Mam offered her a choice of ground pork or sliced and she chose sliced. There was also a dish of candied pistachios on the table and we snacked on those and the grapes until our meals came. The grapes were incredibly sweet and Nina said Mam had told her they were candy something.When our meals came we both loved them. They were both full of vegetables and were just what we wanted. You can see from the photos. After lunch we asked Mam about the grapes and she said they were called Candy Dream and were from Peru. She said the purple ones were better than the rest. When Nina expressed interest she gave us some and then offered to go to Costco, an offer Nina appreciated but declined. Mam walked me to the bathroom then out to my car. I really love this place, but my love has not always been requited because service has been slow. The first time I had this problem, I suffered through it. The second time, I lit a fire under the staff. I don't know where is the problem is in the kitchen or in the staffing or whether priority is given to phone orders over in person dining. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. I grew up in a Lao household and a family Thai Restaurant, therefore I'm always looking for food that either reminds me of home or widens my pallet. Not only does this restaurant provide quality and flavorful meals made with love, but it feels like home too. One of the employees named, "Mam", is such a sweetheart and never fails to warm up the space. I have gone to Thai Corner four times since December & each time has been extremely memorable. I recommend this place to all of my loved ones & to anyone who's looking to try gorgeous South East Asian flavors!!!!! I order new items whenever I go, and each meal has filled me with joy. The food is excellent but the owner should really evaluate the staffing levels on busy nights such as Friday and Saturday. There was only one server handling all front of house table service as well as to-go orders with only one kitchen staff in back. With more staff they could easily turn many more tables in an evening while providing a much better experience which would be a win-win for customers and the restaurant. read more

Excellent all around. The food was outstanding... our family of three loved it (including our toddler!). We ordered the pad Thai with chicken, the BBQ pork with sticky rice, and the praram with chicken. The place itself is adorable and so clean. It's situated on the corner with lots of opportunity to people watch. 5/5 stars for ambience. The service, wonderful! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The food came out fast. 5/5. OK, I'll live, but I did have my hopes up since its hippy-yuppy Westbrae location made me think poached chicken might be a local favorite to eat. I've seen this newish spot walking in the neighborhood but like every other restaurant on my mental wish list, the pandemic has allowed me - and everyone else - only the opportunity of experiencing delivery from them. I decided to order dinner for Jamie W. and me one evening, and we weren't disappointed. Five of us went to Thai Corner today. We ordered Chripy Calamari. We also had curry puff. It is the best curry puff I have ever had thus far in the US. We ordered Mee Krob too which is very tasty. For entres, we ordered beef salad, Thai corner special beef curry, pad see ew, crispy chicken fried rice, and bbq platter. My favorite is crispy chicken fried rice, my friend liked pad see ew, my husband liked the beef curry. BBQ platter is huge! Beef salad is the best of the best. I will go there again next Saturday just for that. The service was outstanding. We are mixed of people. They asked us for the spicy level. So nice! It is well decorated too. Not too busy and have some Thai touch. Inside is clean and bathroom is big. This is a must go Thai restaurant if you are looking for good food, wonderful service and nice atmosphere. Overall, this is a good place to eat. It is situated in a small shopping area across from a nursery. The decoration in the restaurant is nice and the place has a clean and comfortable feel to it. The menu is not expensive but has a good selection of basic Thai food as well as a nice number of options. Overall our experience eating here was pleasant. But four stars is about the most I can give. Not exceptional. I would actually give it about 3.5 but this is a relatively new place I think so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. FOOD: Good. Completely solid Thai food. The yellow curry (by which I judge all Thai restaurants) was only okay. But their pad thai was flavorful and with great texture. The selection was not as extensive as some Thai restaurants and interestingly they had some different appetizers that didn't seem to fit in but sounded good anyway like calamari. SERVICE: Again good but not great. Considering we were the only people in the restaurant we probably shouldn't have had to ask for water or anything but the service was nice and friendly and quick. Food came out hot and in good time. And we didn't feel rushed. And they actually have a parking lot although curiously it was almost full even though the restaurant was pretty empty. I'm sure other local businesses use it too. COST: Reasonable. The curry was about $10 and the pad thai was about $14. read more
