Finally I got here. I've had many people recommend it,it's just down the street and it's taken me 15 years to get here. My loss. I had a lunch special which includes: soup, egg rolls (2 small), black rice pudding and fruit. My main course choice was Chicken pad Thai. For many years x I couldn't find anything to compare to my Shaker Heights, OH favorite. I finally just stopped comparing. Thai Cuisines lunch was very good. Lovely Thai flavors, generous portions, great service. It was quiet when we entered , many others filed in after us. My husband like his pineapple and rice combo, he forgot the name ! But he is difficult to please. We will be back, sorry we took so long to get here. Great lunch spot!

Every time you come around, you know I can't say no... Every time the sun goes down, I let you take control... I can feel the paradise before my world implodes... And today, we had something wonderful... An appetising lunch at... "Thai Cuisine"...of starters of "Spring Rolls" with shrimp and veggies so fresh tasting with a wickedly good sauce, Chicken Satay with a velvety peanut sauce over one plus done chicken...then the sharing continued with an entree of..."Pad Mee" with al dente angel hair rice noodles, plump shrimp, veggies with just the right amount med. heat...so delicious we ate it all..:) Every pure intention ends when the good times start... Fallin' over everything to reach the first time's spark... It started under neon lights and then it all got dark.... Nothin' happens after two, it's true, it's true... My bad habits lead to you..:) Best, Avram Sheeran Jr.

Time for dinner and needing to to break out of our rut and try something different. Well Thai is different and it's close to the house. Ordering was pretty straight forward. Vegetable roll appetizer then for entrees Pineapple Curry & Chicken Pad Thai. The rolls were tasty, lightly fried and not overly greasy with a sweet dipping sauce. Both entrees were equally tasty. Good flavor, no single spice overpowered the dish. There was plenty enough to eat and a little for the next day. My favorite part of the meal was the Black Rice Pudding. It was in a covered in what a think was a sweet cream. Sweet dish without being too sweet. It was a great compliment to the meal. We'll keep coming back even if just for the desert!

So came to this wonderful place for the first time two months ago. We loved it, so much that we held a confirmation lunch here. The staff was very accommodating with us, I made the reservation a week before and went in a few days before to talk about menu. Since majority of our party had not tried Thai before, I took the guesswork from them and ordered three trays of food ($60 each). This way we would not overwhelm the kitchen with 20 different plates and all could eat at the same time. Would do this again with a large party.

I usually try to find a silver lining; however, there was only tasteless food and a nasty dirtiness to this place. AVOID. Go to Thai Boran down the street. First off, tea wasn't brought to me for about 15 minutes. The food was supposed to come with noodles but came with rice. There was no prior explanation like they were out of noodles or what. Anyway my food came out as the wrong dish. They go by a number system, so you don't say the name of the dish, you say a number. It must help with the language barrier. Be prepared to be clear because there is still a major language barrier. I was brought blended Thai tea of some sort when I ordered a simple "iced tea." It smells like sewer when you pay attention. I should have left but ordered and would have felt bad. I should have though. I should have left because the food was a soup but what I ordered wasn't a soup. A soup came with a side of plain rice? What? Weird. The place was gross and dirty and you can see my pics. Anyway the waitress didn't check back to refill tea or anything. I lost my appetite. None of the booth tables were cleaned and there were dirty dishes everywhere. I would have taken a pic but that would have been really rude. My review is enough. Should I call the health department? I don't know the process but can learn. It was BAD. Thai Boran is wayyyy better and the same price. PS - when I mentioned the smell of sewer earlier, I must have been right because another reviewer from four months ago smelled it. GROSS.

Pad Thai- did they forget the sauce?

In the past, Thai Cuisine has been a consistently delicious restaurant both with pick up and dining in lunch and dinner. Last night I got the pad Thai delivered with DoorDash and was super disappointed :( the entree was pretty much soggy noodles with boiled chicken, I almost think they forgot to add the sauce? I hope this was a fluke bad meal, however it will take me a while to return to eat here after such a let down if a dinner, I attached a photo of the meal before I threw it away.

I love this Thai restaurant. It is my go to. The husband and wife cook all the food to perfection and the service is impeccable. Due to COVID-19 there is no dine in right now but all take out orders are fantastic and tasty. My favorite thing to eat here is the L9 on the lunch menu it is spicy fried rice. I always go with medium heat and if I choose to go hotter I can ask for some chili to go or you can purchase some of the hot chili oil that they sell. This is a must. The Thom yum soup is fantastic.

    Teriyaki beef

Paid 17 for this teriyaki beef plate. There is a very small amount of beef on this plate not worth what I paid for bad business practices. Stay away

Not sure why the Pad Thai
 is so red.

Pad Thai was a weird red color. Eggrolls burned on the outside and frozen on the inside. When I called to let them know, there was no manager on the weekends and instead of taking my number down and calling me back, they said to call on Monday. Come on, man.

I started with a Thai iced tea, which was absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and creamy, and very refreshing. For an appetizer we ordered the potstickers, which came out hot and crispy with a tasty dipping sauce that paired really well with them. For my entrée I had the fried rice with tofu, and it was excellent. The rice had great flavor and texture, and the tofu was cooked nicely with a good mix of vegetables. My husband ordered another noodle soup dish that looked amazing as well--it had a flavorful beef broth, noodles, and herbs that smelled incredible. Overall, the food was delicious and the experience was really enjoyable. If you're looking for Thai food in Albuquerque, Thai Spice is definitely worth a visit. Five stars all the way!

The pineapple fried rice was the perfect balance spicy, sweet and savory. The rice had the perfect texture and the perfect balance of flavors, I just don't think anyone could have made it any better. I'm absolutely addicted, I feel the exact same way about the pad Thai as I do the fried rice. It's hard to say which one is my favorite dish here. The pad Thai had a little sweet too but not too much, just enough to really make all the other flavors come home. I have very rarely had a better pad Thai than this anywhere. It is a contender for every some of LA's best Thai food. The drunken noodles / pad see ew. Is good, really good actually. Not quite the same sentiment as the other two but I thought it was great and I would definitely be willing to eat it again. The only criticism I have is I wish their phone customer service wasn't on the weird side. I called and the lady first told me they don't have delivery, I asked her directly and said "not even on Uber Eats or DoorDash? Then she said maybe our website might have an option, so I went on there, it was some unknown third party company I never heard of. I was a little hesitant to put my card on it but I really wanted to try Thai spice so I took the chance, Sure enough the driver arrived on time; food was hot, and I enjoyed my experience. Hopefully their employees learn what they are able to do so the next customer doesn't walk away.

You are asked to tip before you receive service. tipping is supposed to be base on quality of service. You do receive table service once your food is ready. The menu has changed as well. We loved the jerky and sticky rice, now gone! Fish cakes is new but it was too chewy and dry with little flavor. Shrimp cocktail and dumplings were good. This was the only Thai restaurant in town that served good Thai rice noodle soup similar to pho. Sadly it's no longer the case. It was bland! Traditional beef soup included meatballs, now gone. They also charge ridiculous prices for some add-ons such as crushed peanuts $2.00 per order!! Really, for 2 ppl we could have bought a whole jar. Service ended up being good especially since we were the only patrons. I low balled the tip at time of order and ended up giving additional tip in cash. Sadly to say, it's off our list of favorite restaurant in town. Probably will not go back.

Best pad see eww / jungle noodles that I've had in New Mexico by a long shot. Absolutely loved it. The ingredients tasted so fresh , you could tell nothing was from a can or frozen. What I loved is that they spared no expense on ingredient quality, they even used cashews rather than cheaper nuts like peanuts. Each veggie was cooked perfectly and they actually put tomato which I've never had in fried rice but man it was good! Believe it or not the pad Thai was only 5/10, not too bad; nothing to write home about. I was surprised about that since every other item blew my socks off. For the price, you would expect much higher quality food. However, when every dish cost $21 after tax, it is definitely not worth the price. Most of the dishes are dripping with oil. For example, some of the noodle and curry dishes are literally sitting in a tub of oil. The orange chicken uses frozen, perfectly cubed pieces of chicken. I wish they used the actual pieces of chicken, again as the price you pay does not attest to the quality. Red curry is ok but the flavor is very mild. Chicken satay is quite dry and needs all the sauce it can get. Sticky rice mango is a pitiful portion for the price. They even promote fraudulent advertising by showing a giant portion of sticky rice mango with an entire mango on their menu, however, the portion you get is less than half of one mango. It is extremely fraudulent/false advertising. Another issue overall is that the restaurant adds a 3% credit card surcharge. They have signs in the restaurant stating that the credit card companies are charging the customers this extra surcharge. This is again patently false. Credit card companies charge a surcharge to businesses who wish to accept credit cards. This is a normal cost of doing business, and this should definitely not be passed on to the customers as the prices at this restaurant are already at an all-time high. Also, as other reviewers have pointed out, apparently the restaurant charges this on debit cards as well, which is again, entirely fraudulent as debit cards do not charge any transactional fees. Lastly and probably the biggest issue is when they miss items in your order. For example, at the restaurant, I ordered a dessert along with my meal. At the end, it was discovered that the dessert never actually arrived, however, I was charged for it. The restaurant refunded the dessert, however, they only refunded the amount prior to the 3% credit card surcharge that they charged me. This means, the restaurant did not refund the extra 3% That they charged me originally for the dessert! They got to keep an extra 3% of money for intentionally messing up an order which again is fraudulent. This is something that will have to be filed with the FTC as who knows how many others they have scammed out of 3% in the past. Overall, I would highly suggest avoiding this restaurant due to the food quality being poor, the prices being quite high, the extra credit/debit card surcharges, and the fraudulent activity if the restaurant has to provide a refund.
