Noticed I had only bad reviews so far. Decided I needed to soul search and think of good places I have eaten, and Thai Cuisine is one of them. I can't say they have always hit the ball out of the park, but I have never left unsatisfied, and I think that says something. Staff is polite and prompt. Food comes out fast. We ordered Phad Thai and spicy prawn soup. The soup is tasting very fresh but somehow has a little bit bitter flavor. Don't like that. The Phad Thai is wet and soft compare to Thai house's same dish, but it would be better they can put less sour flavor in it. The decorations are pretty exotic, like that. read more

This restaurant had average food at best. I love Thai food and this restaurant is on the bottom of the list. I had Red Curry, their normal spice level, the waitress described it as "medium". I thought it was bland. I like my curry spicy enough it makes my lips buzz. This didn't at all, in fact, I only drank 1/2 of a glass of water during the meal. Usually red curry is flavorful, but this wasn't at all. Plus, the chicken was tough. My husband had the Cashew Chicken and also thought the chicken was tough and the flavor was not remarkable. He said it was average. Overall the restaurant was 'fine', but we won't go back. If you ever hit St. George, Utah try the Red Curry at Benja's Thai Garden. It's VERY good. In Salt Lake try the Panang Curry at Tea Rose Diner or Skewered Thai. They are all MUCH better. read more

Thai Cuisine is my favorite Thai food in Boise. Unlike Mai Tai, which I don't consider Thai, Thai Cuisine is authentic Thai food, nothing fusion about it. The vegies are always fresh and crunchy, with consistent sauces and heat levels. Two of five stars is considered medium hot, but three stars is still not very hot. It can't say enough good things about the servers. They are so friendly and efficient and willing to explain any of the dishes. Since the first time that we ate at Thai Cuisine, they always welcome us as returning customers and state how happy they are to see us again. The decor is pretty, with carved elephant heads and plaques on the walls, pretty light fixtures and carved wooden chairs. Background music is low, but traditional or classical. Go there!!! read more

Disappointing. The green curry was bland and the fresh roll dipping sauce just tasted like sugar water. Great. Staff accommodated a group of fifteen about 45 minutes from closing. We had called ahead and they assured us it would be no problem. They kept the kitchen open and the food was fresh and delicious. The green curry was amazing. Definitely try this place if you are in the area. read more

My husband and I went to Thai Cuisine for the first time last night and had an excellent meal. We started out with Thai coffees, Khanom Jeeb, and Coconut Chicken Soup. I look forward to returning for these amazing dishes again and again. The Khanom Jeeb is especially delicious and I can think of no better way to start a meal now that I've had these wonderful little dumplings. We also ordered some Mango fried rice and Caramelized Ginger with Chicken. (We requested hot on all of our dishes) Though we were nearly full from our soup and appetizer, we couldn't resist eating a small portion of our entrees which were also very good and flavorful. The mango in the fried rice was perfect. I have eaten at several Thai places in the Boise area and a couple in Portland. Of the places I've been to, this Thai restaurant is, by far, the best I've ever had and well deserving of its reputation. read more

I'm happy to write a review based on excellent service, friendly staff and quality food at a great value....and a real Thai connection. I've eaten a number of times at Thai Cuisine both in the restaurant and for takeout. Each time I have had quality service and staff members that take the time to ensure that the meal was excellent, service well provided and that everything was top notch. I've traveled to Thailand many times and often I ask for some little thing to provide me a more real flavor instead of Americanized flavor or some story of a local area. Every time, they have tried to assist or shared some item that has been wonderful for the dining experience or the flavor of the food. The value for the food served is extremely good. Where else can you be served great food for dinner with servings enough to take home for lunch leftovers the next day and still have prices low enough that it's cheaper than an American food place - not many places! Here you can. Add to that, the feeling that they really care about you as a family member (Thai people each family style - welcome to the family). I've read some of the other ludacris other reviews here from people. I seriously question if we have been to the same restaurant. Having lived in Seattle and Boise both, eaten in many Thai restaurants, having a Thai spouse and being an American person, I think this is a great restaurant and well worth a try and most likely repeat business as I know it is for us. Sometimes, misguided people attempt to use social media to malign a business or person because they have a grudge for some issue or are a competitor. It's a shame and disgraceful. I know this restaurant does not show the negative traits that two certain individuals may have posted. If they have come to some ethics in their response, please forgive this paragraph but this place is a great family restaurant and well worth the dining experience. Fantastic Restaurant. First the food is always great. The staff is like family since we have been going there since the place opened. They work there buns off to remember what you want and how you like it. I am very picky about where I eat because I don't want GMO or non organic food. Very good quality priced right. The first time I came here was Christmas Day 2013 and the place was packed. My husband and I had just moved to Boise with a deployment looming. We had great food. We have since returned for lunch one time and take out about 12 times. They are consistent and delicious. No problem adjusting food for different needs, shellfish allergy, vegetarian etc. They are extremely busy on Holidays, day after Holidays, and Friday/Saturday evenings. Take out can take 25-30 minutes on a busy evening and you will wait for a table as well. Is it worth it? you bet. Authentic Thai food (look in the kitchen and see who is cooking). They can also make the food different levels of spicy, for my husband and I bring on the heat! I won't recommend specific dishes because every dish we have had has been excellent. I absolutely love Thai food. I have tried several Thai restaurants in the Boise/Meridian area and this is as good as it gets! We went for lunch and loved the atmosphere and presentation. We were given a soup and salad as part of the lunch menu. The soup and salad was a little disappointing- the salad was just plain iceberg lettuce with a Thai vinaigrette, and the soup was mostly broth with some diced veggies. The entrees, however, were the best we have had. You cannot find a more flavorful Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles (our meals of choice). We are definitely going back to sample their other delicious meals! read more

I'm not sure why this place has so many good reviews. The food is nothing special. I recently came in for lunch and decided it was the last time. It's never been great but it was the most convenient place to get a yellow curry so I kept going, but the last few times the chicken had a strong, gamey flavor. Particularly the last time I went in a few weeks ago. I ended up picking all the chicken out and at the end I said to the waitress the chicken tasted strange. She said she'd tell the cooks, but nothing was ever done about it. No discount or any other offer to make it right. On my way out I was simply given an apology. From now on I'll drive the extra few minutes to Pad Thai House where at least I know I'm eating chicken. read more
