First of all i want to thank the owner and the people working in this restaurant. I rate them 5 not just for the food they serve but also for the hospitality the staff showed. We entered the restaurant 5 mins past 10 pm on Jan 1st when most of the restaurants were either closed or served food till 9pm. They greeted us very well and willingly offered a sumptuous meal. We ordered NamSod, TomYumGai, Spicy Noodles and Veg Thai Red Curry and all the dishes were equally flavorful and spiced well to suit our pallet. I called to order red curry chicken when I went to pick up I received a bill for a $18 this did not include soup or salad. I was also very disappointed with the taste and the rice. I've been here before I thought it was ok but I will not return. This is one of the better Thai restaurants in this area. Not one of the local Sushi Thai places that still seems to me to be a strange combination. I guess its kind of like the Asian version of Tex-Mex. Small, quaint, and the employees are very nice and attentive. very clean and light food . That's part of my problem with them. They don't stir fry, they steam and add a watery sauce. I like sauces that stick to the veggies not soupy sauces. Most dishes have very few veggies. If you ask for anything to be changed, they can't do it. Brown rice is $2 per person, really....why? Im originally from Dallas Texas and I finally found a great Thai restaurant in Deerfield Beach Fl, my new home! If you are looking in South Florida you know how hard it is to find great food and any service at all. I am pleased to spread the word about this very hidden gem. The restaurant is very hard to find but if you take the time you will find wonderful and authentic Thai food.. We love the pad thai and pad kee mow..the thai beer is ice cold and don't get me started on the thai donuts and condensed milk for dessert, the service is just as good (which is hard to find in this area) We plan on be regulars.. One of my favorite lunch spots! This is the best Panang curry I have ever had and order it almost once a week. I prefer the chicken and two stars spice level. The garlic chicken is also delicious! As an expat living in Thailand I visit the US twice a year. Always looking for authentic Thai cooking and finally found it at Thai delight. I went with a friend and we started with the Thom Ka Gai (chicken in coconut milk soup) and Tom Yum Goong (shrimp in hot/sour soup). Both were served hot and spiced to perfection (for American palates!). The chicken satay appetizer was a tad disappointing as far as I was concerned but my friend though it was quite good. The chicken in red curry was perfect and the Nam Sod salad was enough for me as an entree with the soup, satay and rice. The level of spiciness could be altered dependent on the diner's tastes. The menu is not huge but offers a great selection of typical Thai dishes and includes, soups, salads, curries, seafood, chicken and beef. A good selection of drinks including the wonderful Singha beer and desserts are available. Service is good and the servers were friendly. It was nice to find a Thai restaurant where the staff actually spoke Thai!! If you're looking for good Thai food, reasonably priced then this is the place. Hello , after reading the great ratings about Thai Delight I decided to try it . I went tonight , Sunday Oct 12 TH . When I arrived I thought how nice a Mom and Pop kind of place . Clean homey and friendly service . I ordered the Seafood Delight for $18.95 . Not what I would consider a cheap dinner , I don't like cheap dinners . The chicken noodle soup came out and it was delicious . I thought I'm going eat good tonight . Boy I couldn't have been more wrong . On my entrée the 4 mussels it came with were without shells and like rubber . I couldn't chew them . There were 4 real small shrimp without shells but with the end of the tail. All the fake crab meat was either real soft or real hard depending on which type you tasted. The 4 scallops were small but good ,The broth and vegetables were good and about all I ate of it . That sea food was not for me . I could have had canned seafood at the buffet for half the price . read more

Love this restaurant and love the food but the manager was less than likeable. Got there at 2:10 pm and ordered my food which came to my table at 2:20 pm. All good until 2:40 pm when I was scolded by the owner/mgr for coming late because they close at 2:30pm. Maybe they shouldn't have taken my order or my money. They have the best Thai food in town. They are very friendly there and very accommodating. Your food is always very hot when it comes out and it always tastes delicious. The portions they serve you are very big and if you go before 6 o'clock they give you free soup or salad and hot tea with your meal. They have takeout which is very convenient if you don't feel like dining in. I will never go to another Thai restaurant again after eating at Thai delight. read more

Really disappointing and now that I am looking further into reviews mostly everyone is saying the same things about the pad thai. I think the owners need to review these complaints about it and maybe revise the recipe a little! read more
