Other Thai restaurants don't seem to know what spicy is.....or flavor for that matter!! I ordered the Pad See Ew, SPICY!!! I got exactly what I was asking for. Texture on the noodles was just right. Full of flavor, I had even asked for some chili on the side and didn't even need to add it because there was more than enough spice in it to start up the tear ducts. Friendly, fast service and I like seeing it clean and well presented on the inside. Very good restaurant for lunch, I'd rather drive out from La Verne to Glendora than going to any of the nearby Thai places. Definitely worth the trip. read more

My dad decided to take us here after having driven by it recently. The place is small. The combination soup was aiite - slightly too bland. Fried calamari was good, but dipping sauce was weak and a watered down version of The Original Thai BBQ's awesome house sauce. My mom ordered the Nam rod(?) whose spiciness they seemed to enjoy. I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon house special. The salmon was dry. But, a-ha! Teriyaki sauce to the rescue. But the sauce was disappointing & un-specatular. Their orange rice was tasted like white rice. My dad ordered the BBQ Chicken House Special. He got a chicken about the size of a small hen which we were all shocked about. He seemed to enjoy it. I love the taste of this Thai restaurant. For the price, the taste is excellent. I only wished the portions were a little larger. I would recommend to add about 15% more food to your portions and it will be noticed. At the end of the day, you want people like us who like your food to come back. Yelp usually doesn't steer me wrong, but this place was some of the worst Thai food that I've had in a long time. For starters, the plates were dirty, like rice left on the plate dirty. Yuck. However, we gave the place a chance because they were busy (usually a good sign) and people left glowing reviews (also, usually a good sign). The portions were very small, like zero leftovers small. We always order extra for leftovers, but we had none. Also, we asked for no bell peppers in our food and everything came with bell peppers. The Pad See Ew, my sons favorite dish, was exceptionally bland. For $50, I expected a much better meal. read more

This place makes me want to cry I love it so much. I am a strict Vegan with food allergies. No meat, dairy, sugar or gluten. It had been a very long time since i was able to enjoy meal out with my family that was not brought in with Tupperware that I had first prepared at home. The owner of this restaurant created a meal for me that met all of my diet requirements and it is beyond amazing. The first time we spoke he listened intently and made a list of what I could and could not have and gave me options based on my taste preferences. The whole staff is so kind and they make you feel like family every time you walk in. I say every time we eat there that the gratitude I feel for a meal that tastes that amazing is how I wish every person felt when they ate out! Now they all know my special order by heart. I am very picky about my Thai food, I have seen this place in the shopping center I frequent for a few years and never even thought to go there. I have been ordering from another Thai restaurant further away and it was not my favorite. I noticed Thai diamond had great reviews, I looked at the menu and decided to try it! My experience was delivery. They said it would take 45 minutes but they were there in 30 which was a great surprise because my friend and I were starving! We ordered the Pad sew ee with chicken, medium-hot. Also ordered the spicy fried mint rice with chicken. Again, I will express that I am very picky with my Thai food so when ordering they told me they didn't have regular spicy fried rice I was hesitant but he assured me the spicy mint fried rice was good. I hate mint herb and he assured me it wasn't mint but actually basil in it. I ended up ordering expecting to hate it because I did not believe him because mint was in the name yet there is no mint in it? We got our food and literally we're blown away at how good everything was! Oh! We also got the veggie egg rolls, they were crisp and perfectly cooked and the sauce was great! I gave this a 4 star and not 5 because it was a little pricey. For spicy mint fried rice, pad sew ee and egg rolls it was $37. I would have given a 5 instead but it seemed a little pricey to me. I usually order the lunch special and have enough left over to make another meal out of.
