Great lunch specials. Never a long wait for pick-up. Can't speak for their delivery service as they are located literally right behind my apartment building, but they have never quoted me longer than 15 minutes even for large orders. Favorites include Pad See-Ew (try it with duck!), Pad Khee-Mao (5/5 spiciness is the way to go), and the Thai Dish fried rice. But honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their duck dishes. I tend to not order any of their curries, however, because I feel like there are better to be had at other Thai places in town. Great value for what you pay, especially during lunch! read more

We recently moved to Boston so we wanted a regular Thai restaurant to go to. This was highly recommended so we decided to check Thai Dish out. On the outside, it looks like a hole in the wall type place. When we came in, the waitress was very polite and welcoming. I ordered the duck Drunken noodles with spice level 4, which may be too spicy for some people - my boyfriend definitely thought so. The waitress noticed that my boyfriend was having a hard time finishing his spice level 5 dish so she gave us complimentary Thai iced teas! That was extremely nice of her! In terms of the actual dish, the noodles felt very fresh as well as the bell peppers. Portion size is great - could get a meal and a half for it. The duck was seasoned perfectly, and had the perfect combo of skin and meat. Overall a wonderful dish, I would get it again for sure! read more

Thai Dish has moved me to re-join Yelp. I've been eating here for years (back when they were located in Kenmore Square; now they are located near Babcock T station on the Green B line), and it is wonderful every time - consistently delicious and very reasonably priced! I particularly enjoy the shrimp fresh rolls, golden triangles, and beef satay for starters and then the tom yum soup and crispy chicken Pad Thai for mains. The food is cooked just right in terms of flavor and texture. The chef prepares the veggies and meat to just the right size - not too thick, not too thin, everything is nicely balanced. The service is also pleasant, and the interior is kept neat and bright. Truly as good as it gets! read more

Initially I really appreciate all folks working their.. we went into restaurant around closing time but they still accepted our order and served food. Also they waited until we completed appetizers and asked if we want to order more, by that time it already passed 10 pm. We are stunned by their hospitality.. they are wonderful people.. I'm not sure when this place opened up but I just discovered the new location and am thrilled b/c it's steps from my office! I've eaten at the Kenmore location 2-3 times and was a fan but not enough to bother going out of my way. What I love in particular is they have a 1-5 spicy rating so you can get just the right spice. I always order Thai food "extra, extra spicy" but 80% of the time I either get no spice or not enough. (as it turns out, my ideal "extra, extra spicy" is their 4 rating- super spicy to the point where you can maybe eat half your food and your chest feels WARM.) Also tried the fresh tofu rolls and they were great. I just wish they gave you the clear sweet/sour sauce instead of the peanut sauce, which has a slightly 5-spice-like taste to it that I don't care for. The lady working here when I went in was really nice too. I hope this place does well for these folks! I was looking for low-carb Thai options in the area and I noticed that there was a new restaurant that was previously the ramen burger "sensation" Ki Bisto (and before that many other short-lived pizza/sub places). Huh. Another Asian option in a seemingly saturated area of Boston. Ok? Even with the competition in the area, I think this place might stand a chance. They already have an established restaurant in Kenmore Square with excellent ratings and, according to their website, they are authentic and don't use MSG. I walked in and was promptly greeted. Right away they offered me a warm dessert (I had to give it away to a coworker because I'm trying to stay away from too much sugar). I ordered Tom Yum Koong & Yum Nua. My food was ready within 5-10 minutes and I was on my way back to work. I have to say everything is excellent and very flavorful. Overall, Thai Dish feels a little different than the other Thai restaurants in the area. Friendlier and more personable and great food. We stopped in before a show we were seeing at Paradise Rock Club. Its a small area, maybe 12 tables. Service was very nice and prompt. Kitchen is open to view and looked clean. Have been having their food since 2016. Consistently good food! They get 5 stars for their Tom Kha soup. They recently started ditching button mushrooms for enoki mushrooms in the Tom Kha. My wife and I recently visited Boston with our two young children. We ordered take out to be delivered to our hotel from Thai Dish Authentic Cuisine and were pleased with our decision. Our children go to bed early so finding an alternative to room service was great. The entire order was completed via GrubHub and that experience was fast, easy, and worth the couple of bucks. The food from Thai Dish exceeded our expectations. We ordered Spring Rolls, Shrimp Red Curry, and Chicken Pad Woonsen. The Spring Rolls were crispy and tasty and it was impressive that they were still very hot even though they were delivered. The curry had great flavor and a nice spice level. It was ordered medium and generally Thai curries range in heat but this was well done. The Chicken Pad Woonsen was the weakest dish but it was still well spiced and had a nice flavor. However the rice noodles were all clumped together and that made eating the dish somewhat difficult. This was likely a product of take out but it did not take away from the overall. I would give the food three stars with one added for the convenience of the order and and delivery process. We had somewhat unique needs in that our kids go to sleep at 6 and 7 pm respectively and the delivery option via Thai Dish was very convenient for us. read more

Dropped by here spontaneously because of their awesome Yelp reviews, but found the experience to be underwhelming. The service was lovely and very attentive, and they even gave us hot water without us asking (so nice on a cold day!!) They have quite an extensive menu with a good number of seafood dishes, and everything is really reasonably priced at $9 and under for most entrees. I was really excited that they had a few duck dishes and ordered the duck curry, a red curry dish with pineapples and tomatoes. However, I found the curry to be quite salty and the duck seemed like it was just pre-cooked duck from an Asian market that was thrown into the dish. I also found small pieces of bone in the duck, making it difficult to eat. The flavor of the red curry itself was good and the pineapples were a nice sweetener, but overall it was just okay. Maybe next time will try a seafood or noodle dish. read more

I ordered the pad kee mao and panang curry, both at spice level 3 (medium) out of 5 and both with chicken. Pad kee mao was delicious and spiced very well, and the panang curry was creamy and refreshing. I normally order a mild to medium spicy at Thai restaurants, and a 3 was a bit too spicy for me--that's on me, though. Overall the dishes were yummy, and I'd definitely come back (and order one lower spice level, haha)! read more

Cozy, convenient Thai place located on the west campus of BU. They have fairly cheap prices, especially during lunchtime. I ordered pad Thai with chicken and it was only $7.95. Usually, the chicken in pad Thai can be a little tough or dry, but it was actually tender here. The portion was pretty large, too, and I had enough left over to save for dinner. They were very accommodating - I went with a group of 6 but our server still allowed us to split the check and was super patient even though it took a while for us to figure the bill out. Here's the deets : Street wings appetizer - 6 crispy, yummy, fresh party wings with tangy sauce on side Spring rolls - crispy and fresh with sufficient filling. Sauce on side had a little tang that contrasted well. Ginger scallion chicken - saucier than expected but accompanied by a side of rice that welcomed the extra flavor. Fresh veggies and ginger & tender chicken chicken made this dish a winner-winner-chicken dinner lol. Drunken chicken - soooo good. Fresh veggies, wide flat noodle and chicken breast with a nice heat. Not overwhelmingly spicy like most places and veggies still had crunch, not mushy. And they are generous with the protein!! Definitely will be added as our go-to for Thai takeout. read more

Typical street food style Thai food, hot, fresh and yummy. Every thing we ordered was freshly prepared, not greasy commercial style cooking.

The waitress made us feel very welcomed! We really enjoyed our time there. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and serene. It's a small place, but the perfect size! And of course, the food was tasty. The soup I ordered was really really good. However, the papaya salad could have been a bit better with some salty crabs or fish paste. I went here yesterday with a friend and I walked away very satisfied. We ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and the paneng curry with duck. The food arrived pretty quickly and the service was fast in general. The drunken noodles were pretty good, but there were surprisingly too few noodles and too much chicken. The paneng curry was my favorite of the night, and even after we finished the meat and rice I found myself dipping my spoon in to get more of the curry sauce. Overall, the food was probably closer to a four but the price was so reasonable that it's hard to be disappointed. I will definitely be back here. read more

Food was standard Thai food. Good for a delivery when visiting Boston. The delivery was delayed a little past the original delivery window that was provided, and the driver texted me when he arrived so I could come down to get the food. I had to go outside and reach into his car window to get the food- would have been nice for him to bring it to my hotel room or at least get out of the car and meet me in the lobby or hotel driveway instead of my leaning into a strangers window, but he seemed nice enough. The red curry was very watery but very flavorful with veggies - would recommend. When I ordered online it made it seem like I had to pay extra for white rice which was odd and didn't say it came with any so I purchased a side as it recommended, but then the order came with two rice (unclear ordering system). The pad Thai was very plain, nothing but noodles and a very few sprouts throughout but decent peanut lime flavor. The Tom yum soup was a good lemongrass flavor but salty - just broth with raw mushrooms popped on top and 3 shrimp at the bottom (usually it's served with more veggies).
