I was in the mood for Thai but wanted to try something besides my usual Pad Se Ew or Pad Thai. I ordered the Pod Kai Pod (#46 on the menu) and it was SO good!! The customer service is great and the food was made fresh to order. Not to mention, the portion size was huge! So yummy and can't wait to come back to try something new.

It's limited parking right in front of restaurant, Food~Appetizers are delicious, piping hot, literally waited 5-7 mins to arrive fresh! Service-The waitress is absolute amazing funny and so very sweet. We asked for a pitcher of ice water she bought the pitcher w/ ice and no water. She says "anything else?!" We said yes the water! We laughed for a least 5 mins Main Course- Crab Fried Rice is absolutely amazing, flavorful, and piping hot once again! Ambience-Mom and Pops, plenty of seating, music playing softly in the background. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

I've ordered from this Thai restaurant four times. Their portions are large (28oz on the pad Thai container) but the prices kind of reflect that. Today I ordered the pad Thai. The pad Thai wasn't the best but it kept well- I came back and updated, it was holding up pretty well a day later. However, the toppings are sparse, it's just beansprouts and green onion with a single lime wedge no peanuts and no cilantro. The noodles are rubbery, the chicken tastes like it is both under and over cooked, the flavor of the pad Thai is giving tomato somehow although there isn't much sauce on this at all, yet it's greasy. It's actually pretty dry otherwise. I recommend not ordering their pad Thai but the lemongrass chicken is good and so is the peanut sauce curry which is why I am rating three stars.

I live in the area and have always wanted to get take out here. Excellent service at the take out window, very personable. There's always so much I want to order but seeing it was a solo night and my dog already ate, I went with curry chicken and veggie pad Thai noodles. #53 #20 respectively Creamy yellow sauce and plenty of scrumptious pad noodles. I use the white rice to buffer the yellow sauce so it doesn't migrate into the noodles. It's a must for taste bud divisions. You really need to try this spot out. I'll be back. Cheers.

Food wasn't ready 30 minutes after they said. Repeatedly told me "almost ready" and kept me waiting. Pretty awful.

My favorite since childhood. They've been going strong and consistent for years. Hard to pass on the Pad Thai, but everything is good.

My partner and I like trying Gobi Manchurian everywhere we visit so, of course, we had to try Silsila's version. Placing our order was easy and the staff was kind. The interior of the restaurant was clean and colorful. This is, so far, the best Gobi Manchurian we have had in Portland. It was spicy and sauced to perfection. The price was incredibly fair for the portion. We happily shared one order and came back for more the next day. Overall, highly recommend trying!

Also, when running the receipt, the handheld device should be given to the customer. Instead, the guy hovered over me peering down to make sure I left a tip while gripping the device in his hand. (I left $5, but that was too much for his lack of service.) The food was quite spicy. We got butter chicken, mutter paneer (both medium), and rajsathani chicken (hot). I didn't try the rajsathani, but my dishes were very hot . I had read that mild was too mild, so I figured I'd ask for medium... I guess I should have done mild plus! Rice was meh; they definitely need to make a better rice mix. Garlic naan was very good. Samosas were decent but not packed well at all. The tamarind chutney's lid wasn't on, so it had spilled all over the paper bag it was in with the samosas. Overall, I might be back if I can confirm ahead that they have a different waiter. But not for the food, I would give him only 1 star!

You would see that it's going to a motel, you would think to add the silverware. Fortunately, I was able to get silverware from my motel's breakfast room. The lumpia were very good. They were not greasy at all. They are smaller than standard eggrolls, but because they use more meat and less veggies than your standard eggroll, they pack a lot more flavor. Everything inside was seasoned well, and I really enjoyed them. They came with a vinegar based dipping sauce that I liked The "garlic Ponzu" salmon poke? No, not nearly as good. For the price they were charging, it was not a very big portion. Besides that, it just wasn't that good. A good salmon is normally pink to orange. This salmon was barely pink. I couldn't taste the garlic or the Ponzu at all. The veggies were crisp, the rice was a good quality, but there was just no seasoning. The salmon was very bland. I didn't know if it was just because of the seasoning, maybe they used a low quality or a previously, frozen salmon. I love good salmon. This was not good salmon. For the price I paid, not counting the DoorDash fees because those are added in anyway, I just felt I didn't get my moneys worth. Next time I'm in the area, I will find another place. Thanks anyway.

I got the white curry with burnt ends, and it was delicious. The curry is not thin but not as thick as I expected. We came right before the dinner rush, so seating was available right away for our party of 3. Dishes we ordered was the Very Spicy Papaya Salad, White Curry w/Brisket Burnt ends, Massaman Curry w/ Smoked Lamb Shoulder, and the Roasted Mushroom Fried Rice. The salad was too spicy for me that my mouth was on fire, but those in my party who can tolerate spice enjoyed it. The curries were on the saltier side, but it definitely had the smokiness from the bbq, giving it more depth which I can see why it works so well with all the Thai flavors. If I were to choose one over the other, I would go with the Massaman Curry because the lamb was super tender and the sauce had so much more flavor than the white curry in my opinion. I can't remember the name of my cocktail, but it was a wonderful tropical and refreshing drink. Portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price point, but definitely worth trying. Will be back again!
