Food was absolutely delicious and amazing. We ordered the pad thai (chicken and shrimp) , the steamed wontons and two sushi rolls.

They randomly add 25% tip onto the bill without telling you. After reading other posts, it seems the tips change. My daughter in six of her friends went there last night, and instead of requesting tables to be moved or anything, seven of them squeezed into a booth to be accommodating to the staff. I also know they are all decent tippers usually about 20% or more. The fact that we're not told there was a tip added on, and it was 25%? I know those seven kids will not be going back, nor will I. read more

Giant menu. Small place. The sushi was very fresh. I liked the taste of both, but the soy paper Valentines roll, sitting under a carpet of chopped fish was texturally a lot off for me, tasty as it was. Thai restaurant with no Thai beer? Ganesh, who would be the deity with whom you'd want to share a beer, would be saddened by no Singha, and "Japanese" beer made in Italy (Asahi). Service was perfunctory on point. It had all of the warmth of Chicago in February. I've been to do many Thai places with such great service. This isn't it. I hear that the Thai food is quite good. Would I run back here? WOW...after years of 5 star ratings and great experiences at Thai Hana I now have had a bad experience. I have ate in the restaurant and ordered take-out many times. BUT... recently I ordered ,for pick-up, 2 appetizers and an order of Pad Thai with shrimp and at a spice level 2. This is an order I have ordered several times before. When I got home I had Pad Thai with CHICKEN at a spice level around 5. Too hot for my wife even after she tried to smooth the heat with adding honey and eel sauce. Had the weekend and seasonal traffic been less hectic I would have returned this screw-upped order. I suggest that when picking up your order , don't just grab the bag. We ordered take out. Food was good: flavorful and set well with our stomachs which doesn't always happen with sushi restaurants. We'd go back and even recommended it to friends who live in the area. I placed a To Go Order of Thai Noodle Soup ($17.95) with chicken and shrimp and Pork Eggrolls (2/$6.95). I also ordered a Side Order of Egg Fried Rice ($5.95) to jump start a dinner of Fried Rice the next day. I expected the broth to be packaged separately from other soup ingredients, but the noodles and other ingredients were unceremoniously dumped into a large styrofoam clamshell which turned the noodles into one big glob. The order was packaged with napkins and plastic utensils as if ready to eat, but since the soup ingredients weren't packaged in a bowl and the container of broth was full, there was no way to eat the soup if I didn't have my own bowl. The broth had little flavor and there was ample white meat chicken but only three small shrimp. The eggroll filling was a paste and had no flavor, no better than frozen eggrolls from a store. But the worst disappointment was the "Egg Fried Rice". It was a pale, flavorless, mushy, overcooked mass. The amount of egg in the entire order was the size of half of a pencil eraser. There was no evidence of seasoning, stir frying or grains of rice. The styro clamshell of rice had been placed on something round and hot which burned and discolored the bottom of the container and there was actually a hole through it. I might eventually eat at Thai Hana in the future but I would never order any of these items from the menu again and I would probably be too concerned about the packaging to take anything To Go. read more

What a great spot! Three of us had lunch here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it delivered! The Thai egg rolls were crispy & good. Two of us got Thai curries which were delicious and the third ate Pad Thai. All were repeats and the special lunch pricing is also available on weekends which is rare to find. The wine options were basic but worked. Then the staff surprised us with a birthday celebration and complimentary tempura cheesecake which was delicious. I had the amazing spider roll and the softshell crab was fried in rancid oil. They took it back and I got the beef soup. Disgusting! The beef in the soup was spoiled! Smelled spoiled snd crumbly like spoiled meat. The broth masked the meat but it was well seasoned. My God! I could've gotten sick. We had the squid appetizer which was chewy af. So much so that it snapped out of the tempura batter. The tempura batter was not seasoned at all! Chilli sauce was provided with it but it was like eating chilli sauce with rubber bc it was overcooked. What an awful experience. How do you f#$% up the SUSHI!? read more

Very small place with limited seating but a great huge menu with tons of delicious options. I wanted to try them all. The service was great and very fast felt like we were in and out within 20 minutes. we got the monkey brain and spicy tuna roll appetizer which hit the spot then the red panguang curry which was delicious. It had a little bit too much bamboo shoots in it. I wish I had more chicken and peppers. I love that they asked the level of spiciness. Absolutely AWFUL!! I got the bento box with chicken and broccoli and the salmon roll. The sushi was rubbery and tasted like they left it out all day and was not fresh. Usually there is some kind of sauce or cucumber but this was literally only rice and fish. The chicken and broccoli was pretty bland but actually the best part of my box. I'm also used to bento boxes having fried sweet potato or other items to eat but this one was a ton of other sushi and the main dish ...nothing else :(. I honestly would have rather skipped that meal than pay $18 for a crappy bento box. Now I understand why there are signs everywhere saying no refunds if you don't like your food. I also tried my husband's drunken noodles and it was just average. They didn't ask him what spice level he wanted so that was odd and he would have preferred spicier. Last complaint is the restaurant was extremely cold so I was miserable on many levels at this place and will never go back. The food was okay, we had stopped by momentarily on the way back from Cocoa. Sometimes it felt like there was a slight soapy aftertaste, and the portion sizes were definitely smaller than we are used to for thai cuisine. My friends ordered pad see ew and a spicy vegetable dish, and all thee said it was a little below average of what they usually have. However, the service was nice and the restaurant was cute. I have eaten here twice before when the food was good. Today I ordered to go the same exact thing I've eaten before. I got it home and the pad thai is so dry that it's not edible. I called the restaurant to tell them and I spoke to the manager. She said when you take it to go it can be dry and instead of trying to make it right, she said next time you order I'll make sure to put extra sauce on it. I spent $17 on this food that I can't eat. We enjoy a casual sushi and Thai place and often taken our 3 year old and 1 year old. Which I'm often nervous about because you never quite know how your kids will turn out. Today was a day where a lot went south. My daughter spilled her water all over her self and screamed at the top of her lungs and while I pulled her outside to calm down my youngest was crying for mommy. (My poor husband). I was extremely embarrassed as this indoor was quite small. But the staff was so generously kind and supportive. Helped clean up our table and brought the girls cute little oranges that the sushi chefs took their time to make them look like cool art. They also had little hair clips for the girls to help distract them and helped us through our meal. This is the second time we have been there and every time we are in this area we will be eating here. Fun, humble and caring staff and chefs! Was in town for a night before jumping on a cruise ship, and we all wanted sushi. Decided to take a walk to Thai Hana, and we were not disappointed. The place is small , but the tables turned over quickly and we were seated in 15 minutes on a Friday night even with 4 groups waiting in front of us. The servers were all very attentive. The sushi was amazing. Rolls were very large, and we ordered more than we could possibly eat as a result. We were told to try the Monkey Brain App (tempura avocado with tuna and crab) by another local couple, and it did not disappoint. Of everything we ordered the poke bowl was everyone's favorite. Only complaint was my sushi dinner combo came out way later than everything else. No worries though, just took it to go. Glad this place is 1,000 miles from home, as we would be here every week if it was a local joint. read more

First time here and we ordered 3 dishes. The "golden fish" appetizer, the "Lobster Volcano roll" and "beef pad se ew". The appetizer and roll were decent but the pad se ew was terrible. When we told the waitress the first time she just smiled and walked away. She then came back and asked if we wanted a to-go box for it and told her again no it tasted bad. She never cared to ask us what was wrong with it or seemed to care. She then brought us the check with the item still on the bill and said "we don't remove items just because you don't like it" with a attitude. We have eaten Thai food for many years and never has it tasted and smelled as bad as their dish did. I was never told that I had to pay for a dish I didn't like by any restaurant. I have enjoyed eating at Thai Hana over the past 10 years, and have always been impressed with the freshness of the sushi and ingredients, as well as the preparation and presentation of the food. However for the past three experiences the quality of the food has been extremely poor. This last occurrence was at 6pm on a Saturday, so I assume they had their "experienced" staff cooking. The ingredients of the sushi appeared old and the flavor was off. My wife had the Thai Basil with shrimp which had an off smell and a "water-like" sauce. After giving them multiple chances to redeem themselves (because any restaurant can have a bad day), I have decided that I will not be eating here again. They were literally removing plates before we could finish, sometimes without even asking. If you're a speed eater this might be the place for you. Was eating a delicious salad within 5 minutes, followed by Bento-A (I chose Chicken Basil which was very yummy). Sushi quality was perfect - correct temperature and decent size cuts. I added a spicy-tuna hand roll which was only $6. Remarkable thing here is how friendly all the staff members are - and all staff attend to all tables (none of that millennial "its not my table" mentality), so you encounter several of the charming staff folks.
