We just love this place. Got pickup, as they are closed for dine-in during covid mania. Robert was just as friendly and accommodating as usual and the food was phenomenal. This time we ordered praram (chicken with peanut sauce), tom kha gai soup-so much flavor!, duck noodle soup, and pak rum jae-which has an amazing variety of veggies in a light garlic sauce. This is a great place for Thai food in Cameron Park. It's located in a little strip mall area off Cameron Park Dr, but don't let the location fool you - the food is great here! We ordered take-out and got the shrimp pineapple fried rice, spicy eggplant, and shrimp pad see ew dish. Within 15 mins or so our order was ready. They packaged up in a nice box and even threw in extra white rice for us. The food was fresh and delicious and portion size was great! All three of us were able to have it for both lunch and dinner. I personally felt this place was a little overpriced. For those three dishes, we paid a total of $43 before tax. The food was well-worth it, however, for the price point it is somewhere I would come too on occasion. Otherwise, this place is great thai food with lots of options! read more

This is a cute little place in an unassuming strip mall. It was very quiet on a Monday evening. The menu is pretty standard for a Thai place, but I noticed they had a pretty good selection of vegetarian/vegan options (that can be prepared without the fish sauce). I opted for Pad See Ew with chicken. Prices were a bit high for Thai ($12-13) but I've noticed that many Asian places in the area are more expensive than you would find in say, Sacramento. The food came out and the portion size was very large. I was starving so I ate the whole thing, but it could have easily made lunch left overs the next day. The food was good, hot, fresh. Service was extremely attentive. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I'm moving nearby soon, so I'm sure I will be back regularly. read more

Was super excited to try this Thai restaurant, and finally did. We were disappointed. The service was great. The young lady was attentive and kind. The food was a let down only because we left with all the symptoms of msg. I wish it wasn't true because their portions are generous and everything seems really clean. Our Curry was great, the pad Thai was sweet, not used to that. If you don't have allergic reactions to msg, and enjoy Thai food this restaurant might become a favorite. read more

The food here is not very good. I hate to give bad reviews, but when we first moved to Cameron Park we ate here a couple of times until we found better Thai food around the area. Last night I wanted something close by so I ordered takeout. Now I remember why my wife and I started eating at other Thai restaurants instead. The food was very spicy like I like it but it literally had no taste at all. Not sure if they don't marinate their beef or what, but there was no taste except for the hot heat. I don't think the original owner is there anymore. His wife who use to cook the food might be, but the food now is worse than it was before. It looked like they had all new people running the place. Either the guy sold it or it just has new management. Thai Rice here in Cameron Park or Thai Paradise in El Dorado Hills with their new ownership is way better. Thai Unique in Placerville is also very good. read more

My sister usually loves this place, and bragged out so we got it for lunch. She called and placed the order for pickup. We both got the same thing(can't recall the name) and asked for it to be extra spicy. When she got there to pick it up, they only had one instead of two and it took another 20 minutes for the second one. I was unimpressed to say the least. It was ALL noodles that were clumped together in a mass. There was hardly any sauce, vegetables( it was supposed to have onions, bell pepper, and basil), or meat. It was hardly spicy even after asking for extra spicy. I might give it a second chance but my first thai food experience this was hardly anything to brag about. read more

Good night at this popular place in the heart of Cameron Park, across from the airport. We tried some house specials. Crispy duck Fried spicy eggplant Pad Thai (chicken and shrimp) Portions are large, prices are mostly fair. Very nice quality and good service. A family run place with a bright atmosphere, similar to a "standard" Chinese Restaurant in quality and lighting, I find the artwork from Thailand enchanting but overall the decor and seat/table quality is 3 star. Not as much a date night place, more a bring the family place. One of the nice additions to this restaurant is that the family now uses a runner to bring out food more quickly from the kitchen. Based on what you pick on the menu and how you like your sauces this food can range from 3 to 5 star literally, so give it a few tries. On a busy night, they still handled service and promptness to the tee, attentive owners. Most restaurants lack this. Raising a star. They don't have a low cost lunch menu. In the area, from Folsom to Placerville there are at least 10 Thai restaurants so good look loving just one. My family loves Thai, this is on the hot list but definitely not the best either. Prices are a little too high, $17 for Pineapple Rice for example. The quality, tastiness is mixed. Some very memorable dishes however. This keeps the public coming back. Thai on, and if you don't ask for any spiciness you will get bland Thai which is important for some who don't love the chili pepper. read more
