I remembered going to this awesome Thai restaurant years ago when I was visiting a cousin who lived in Santa Rosa. Fast forward I now live in Santa Rosa and was looking for Thai food, and found this place, I couldn't remember the name of the place but I did remember it was on the second floor. So when I found it again and ordered takeout a year ago, it was like it was the first time I went here. Everything was fresh, everything had great flavor, and the spice level was what I asked for. And presentation was lovely. I have tried several other Thai food restaurants since moving here, and none compare in value, in flavor and quality. There is another that is great but very expensive. First time here and very pleasantly surprised. You have to look past the elevator in the back of the restaurant, near the parking lot otherwise you might turn around and decide not to go. Even after we arrived to the restaurant we wondered, with only 4 people seated. They may be short staffed so they still have not opened the entire restaurant. But if you are looking for excellent Thai food, then go! I had the seafood green curry and my husband had the Chili basil sea, also a seafood combo dish, mild. We also shared the crispy tofu. We even had enough left over for lunch. Great flavor and the server was attentive, efficient and very friendly. By the time we left the place was packed. I have to say, this is probably the best pumpkin curry I've ever had. Aside from being a savory dish, I love that they prepare it with thick hearty slices of pumpkin. Most other dishes I've had give sparse thin slices. This goes for the veggies and tofu as well. Everything was fresh and hearty and a very generous portion. Served with white rice and a small salad. Yum! Atmosphere is good, there's a nice ceiling window in the back so on a sunny day it's a great spot to sit. Never crowded, actually a little lean on the patrons but that's fine if you want a quiet dining experience. Service is ok. Nothing to write home about, could be a little more attentive especially considering it isn't ever busy enough when I come in for servers to be too distracted. Not horrible but very watered down. Short on chili, fish sauce for starters. The curry had very watery coconut milk and most dishes were bland IMO. If you like Pinot Noir with your Thai food you will like this restaurant. If you want lively Thai food go elsewhere. read more

Amazing Thai food in Santa Rosa, what? Yes it exists. Our friends who live in Santa Rosa took us here and it's a little hidden gem up a small wooden staircase in downtown SR. We were invited to sit crossed legged on cushions traditional style at these tables in the back. I always like these fun little touches to the dining experience. Lots of vegan options made me happy! I tried the pineapple red curry with tofu and the balance between the sweet and tangy pineapple and mild coconut red curry was perfect! I had it with brown rice and couldn't be happier. My BF ordered the drunken noodle and it was very good as well but perhaps slightly overcooked. I am never disappointed here. The food is great. I usually grab it to go but when you eat at the restaurant it has a nice ambiance. The param and mussaman curry are my favorite dishes by far. All entrees come with a side of rice which is refreshing considering that many other restaurants make you order rice "on the side". read more

We came on a slow Sunday and the atmosphere was great, service amazing, and the food tasty with very generous portions. I was suffering from a hangover so I asked which soup the server recommended and she suggested the Tom Yum, which fixed me right up. I wish we had this place in my town. Highly recommend. read more

First time here and I loved the waitress. Very friendly and sweet. Went there with my boss and we decided to have lunch in section where you take your shoes off and sit on the floor. I'm Laotian so I'm use to sitting in the floor. This was a new experience for my boss. We ordered coconut shrimp, and chicken skewers for appetizer. I also order beef PadThai and my boss order Chicken PadThai. We also ordered Thai tea. Food came out in timely manner. The food there is amazing and very tasty. Will be back for sure. read more

Food here is delicious but they don't offer dining on the floor anymore which made this place unique, also one thing I don't like about restaurants is when they say no to everything instead of accommodating. I asked for my Thai tea to not be too sweet the lady at front said it already came made, I asked to change my noodles she said they couldn't be changed and I asked for siracha only Chile oil, oh and no Diet Pepsi or coke only sprite. We're from out of town, so our options for vegan were very little on a late Saturday evening. We ordered 3 items from their menus, which was in 4 separate pamphlets. Golden Fried Tofu- a small portion, 8 pieces of tofu. Came with a generous side of delicious peanut sauce. Nothing special, tastes like all other fried tofu squares. Tofu pad Thai- one of the best I've had, their tofu was well cooked and loved that they were cut in triangles. Recommend for sure! Ask for extra peanut sauce. Spicy Eggplant with tofu- so good!!! I really can't say enough about how much I love this place. I've had so many dishes here and have enjoyed every single one. My absolute favorite though is the Tom Kha. I've only had thair twice before this and was weary, but I was convinced to have one more corrective experience. I am happy to say that I no longer dislike Thai food! I got the pumpkin curry, the fresh rolls and the tofu pad thai. All very yummy, but my favorite was the curry - especially soaked into the rice. My only complaint is that I wish there were more chunks of the kabocha squash (pumpkin) in it! Thai House has been my go to for Thai Food in Santa Rosa. The food is authentic, I love their Crab Rangoon! Their chili sauce is spicy yet decedent. The service here is always great, the servers are always friendly & quite informative about the menu. I love their Param Long Song. The peanut chili sauce with the chicken is delicious! I love their brown rice! I believe it's Madagascar pink rice, but it's such a good compliment with the Param. That House has a very tranquil & peaceful setting. It sits on a loft downtown on 4th street. They have an option to dine at tables with chairs or to eat in a more traditional atmosphere without your shoes. I prefer the traditional. This place is a gem! The five star rating is for the food and friendly staff. It may be a bit dated at first glance, but they have the best green curry I have ever tasted in my entire life. I have many dietary restrictions that limit me from enjoying a lot of cuisine. When I come here, I order their green curry with extra vegetables, and it is a sight to behold. There are so many different veggies that they include, and the curry itself is incredible. This place has become my sanctuary in between classes, as they are open all day. People call a lot of places a hidden gem, but this place is hidden more than any other. It's on busy Fourth Street, but it's upstairs, so only the stairwell is located on the street. The food is great, but the portions aren't big enough for a big guy like me. There are nice ornamental pieces located throughout the restaurant. But the nasty carpet needs replacing. read more

I love that they have a dining area where you can sit on the floor! Its a beautiful area, just need some Thai music to complete the ambience. The food is absolutely delicious. It's advertised as a nice place, but as of today this is a dive. There is a section in the back that was once nicely decorated, now just stacked up with chairs and closed. The area that is open has cheap tables and chairs, silverware, chopsticks and napkins in a container on the table, and divots in the green wall. I've been in diners with a nicer ambiance. The lamination was peeling off the worn menus the server gave us. Service was moderately slow. The ginger duck I ordered was pretty good. I ate half of it. Prices were high for a dive. Flavor wise, just so-so, there's a hint of chili spiciness. But the eggplant stir fry, minced beef (larb) and chicken yellow curry are all swimming in watery sauce or oil. All of these bordered on being classed as stews. Best part of the meal was the toothsome & flavorful rice. I see the appetizing photos from Yelpers who ate other dishes. They need to figure out how to manage their dishes. Our group tried to get a reservation twice, but nobody answered the phone. We managed to get one 30 minutes prior to the time we went. First, our group was given dinner menus. Why? It was noon. We had to hunt down lunch menus ourselves. Second, service was too slow. Reducing my review to ONE STAR. We waited 55 minutes for the soup/salads to come out and the waiter didn't seem to know who had ordered a Lunch Special, as opposed to off the Lunch Menu. Another 15 minutes later, our entrees finally came out. But the waiter still didn't seem to know who ordered what entree and the restaurant still managed to forget one person's noodle curry. That one came out 5 minutes later, strangely, but she had to basically get a to-go container because it was well past 1:30 PM at that point. How were they able to make that single dish so fast yet all other dishes took nearly an hour? The presentation was nice, but not enough to give them any extra star ratings. Terrible slow service. The waiter didn't even give us an update on why it was taking so long. Not good for groups at all. read more

As an appetizer I ordered the fresh spring rolls, the peanut sauce was rich and creamy. For my entree I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and substituted the bell peppers with broccoli. Food was good. Their crab wontons were super yummy! Calamaris not a big fan, good, but different comes with yummy dipping sauce. Their pad Thai was good also got their yellow curry and was not a fan of that.. and I also asked for extra onion and got no onions at all.. was pretty bum about that. Service was really slow while we were the only group there.. had to get her attention a couples times just to get service and the tab. Not a place I'll call my go to, but will try again to try other things on their menu. Solid three stars for me read more
