Came in the back way which is a small hall with an elevator. It's on the 2nd floor and immediately on your left as you step off. While there were a couple of small heaters on the ceiling, they did nothing to warm the room so your fiid gets cold quickly. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I started with the spring rolls with peanut sauce (which looked spicy, though wasn't). Then a bowl of Tom Kha soup. It was really good, though why they put a huge piece of tomato in it, I'm not sure. For the entree I chose the famous duck. It was so good. There is a section in the back (or front, depending on which side you entered from) that has tatami seating.

Thai House got the flavors right, but the bill is a shock. Take the dodgy elevator to second floor, this spot has an average atmosphere with the option for traditional floor seating for a more authentic feel. The Panang Curry was delicious - vegan-friendly (no oyster sauce) and served with a very generous portion and a proper veg-to-tofu ratio. The Drunken Noodles was well-balanced with plenty of veggies, and the Spring Rolls had a good crunch (and I appreciated that they were mushroom-free). The pricing is the main drawback. At $20 per entree, it's a steep ask for the average diner. Even in high-end SF neighborhoods, you can often find comparable quality for less. Bottom Line: I would love to return, but the pricing isn't sustainable for regular visits. I'd definitely be back if the price point better matched the local area and the current state of the economy.

Who doesn't love amazing Thai food (especially that Thai green curry!!) the food is great and the portions are large so expect to have left overs. I guess this place has been here forever and once you try it you'll know why- fans are loyal!

If you're looking for a good place to have a lunch special, this is it. They have a prefix menu with things that come in the combo that they have chosen for you and you can just pick one of them. The curry was really tasty, but I wish I could've had crunchy spring rolls, but they said I couldn't change it. The elevator is a little scary when you go up stairs, but if all goes well, you will enter a really nice quaint restaurant upstairs.

Really impressed with this place. Interesting to go up the stairs and feels like you're going the wrong way but then it's a cute little restaurant once you enter. We got the pad Thai and pad c ew which both were huge portions and a lot of flavor. Sometimes the sauce can be a miss or dry but the noodles were saucy and packed flavor. The spring rolls were good but I have had better I would say, can't pinpoint but I would have them again. The dishes stole the show. Recommend trying this place out

Thai house has the BEST THOM KAH soup: order w tofu and veggies. It has baby corn, cabbage, carrots, onion (sweet), green beans, zucchini & the white mushrooms. So so good.

Service was fast and friendly. So much decor, there's a lot to look at. The food was great! I had the papaya salad and the drunken noodles. The papaya salad had just enough spice and was very fresh. The noodles were good and tasty. The iced tea was on the sweeter side but good. The mango sticky rice tasted I felt has too much coconut it over powered the rest. It was really hot in the restaurant, didn't seem like there was AC. Overall it was good and I would go back.

Generous amounts of very delicious food. Great lunch special deal and comfy Thai themed environment. Rice is included in the entree price, also salad or spring rolls included if buying the lunch special that goes until 3:30. Leftovers are likely given the substantial portions. Oh yeah, delicious mixed green fresh salad is included in the lunch special and perhaps with the dinner entrees as well. I only had the lunch special.

Delicious hidden gem. You have to go up the stairs to find it which are tucked between two separate restaurant's patio seating. Service was friendly, the Thai iced teas were perfect, not too sweet, and the food was super tasty. We are from Reno and have a fave Thai spot we don't often wander from so we were nervous to try a new spot in Santa Rosa but this mama needed drunken noodles and Thai House did not disappoint!

I will continue to order from here! I got take out and was able to get 2 meals out of my order since there was so much food. My favorite was the chicken satay and spring rolls. Everything was very fresh. I am excited to try more items the menu. Also, I got all of this food for only $20.50!

This lovely place is an upstairs on 4th Street. It is small but cute. My friend and I shared the temptation plate. It had 2 to 3 of almost all of their appetizers. all of them are absolutely delicious was hard to pick a favorite. There is so much that we both took home some for dinner. We also had the calamari that was cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Shrimp Pad Thai; satay chicken; fresh rolls and a green salad.

What a tasty and delicious lunch we all had a few days ago at Thai House. The unassuming entrance belies the top-notch culinary skills coming from their kitchen: fresh ingredients; shrimp cooked to perfection in my pad Thai main; perfectly seasoned satay chicken skewers; all rounded out with fresh rolls, chock full of vegetables accompanied by a tangy dipping sauce. And oh yeah, your choice of white or brown rice, including a small green salad too. The portions are generous and the value, unbelievable: $18.00. What a deal! I will be back again and again.

This place was great and affordable for lunch! I got the shrimp pad Thai and it was more than enough for me! The food was fresh and delicious! My friend got curry and devoured it. I will be ordering again. Lunch is only until 330. Ambiance is mellow. Service was spot on. Very attentive. Recommend coming here!

First the good part- it's my first time at SEA Thai Bistro. We liked the location, ambience, our server - PK. PK was helpful and hospitable also humorous so fun to interact with. We informed PK we would like to order vegetarian and he was nice enough to suggest what mains can be ordered/altered to make vegetarian (without any fish or fish paste added). With limited choice being there, we ordered Tofu Drunken Noodles, Chicken Cashew (chicken substituted by Tofu) with Jasmine Rice and a few chilled Simba (& Simba refills). The other part was - the staff member at the right side of the door. She looked hassled throughout; right from the time we walked in and exited. We told her we did not make a reservation and are two of us so is a booth available, she was reluctant and still made us sit at the smaller table for two (while most of the indoor tables and booths were still free). No problem, maybe she had been having a bad day. Similar hassled attitude observed at the time of leaving; leaves one with not a great taste ! So, while we would likely choose to come back for the food and else that felt good; hoping we don't have to meet or be greeted by that same employee and her inhospitable attitude.

Our waitress was very friendly, attentive, and pleasant throughout the meal, so I was initially planning to give the service 4 stars. Unfortunately, the food was just mediocre. The Pad See Ew was overly sweet and had barely any noodles--it was mostly beef. The coconut soup was only lukewarm when it arrived. We also ordered a bento box, tempura over fried rice, and a pho. None of the dishes really stood out or made us want to come back. I'd give the food 2 stars. What really disappointed us was the bill. We were charged an 18% gratuity because our party had five people, but no one informed us beforehand. We also didn't see any sign or notice stating that parties of more than four would automatically be charged gratuity. It wasn't mentioned when we were seated or when the check was presented. I don't mind paying gratuity for good service, but I do expect restaurants to be transparent about automatic service charges.

Letting us know he needed to ''get creative' with our reservations because we didn't specify we had a dog, then making a big show of add an extra chair to their patio to accommodate all of us to scolding us to 'leave a note next time' was all unprofessional.
