    Beef pad see ewe
    Tricia D.

I've come here somewhat regularly over the past year either for a comforting Thai dinner with my family or lunch special since it's so close to work! Favorites are the pad see ewe, fried potstickers, and fried rice. So naturally I thought of Thai Inbox when scoping out restaurants to bring in appetizer party trays for my corporate Lunar New Year celebration. Thai Inbox could meet the egg roll and potsticker request I had and quoted a more competitive price than a few other local Asian restaurants I called. It was about $430 for 150 veggie egg rolls and 150 chicken potstickers. Since I placed the order (and paid in full) 2 weeks in advance, I called the restaurant to confirm my order 2 days ahead of my big event. The manager said all was fine, no worries. Fast forward to the day of the event, and 2 minutes before the order is supposed to deliver, the manager called and said one of the ingredients didn't deliver from the vendor, so the potsticker order couldn't be fulfilled. What?? That isn't the type of thing you find out last minute, and certainly, you can call the customer BEFORE cooking the order to talk through options and solutions vs. informing them about it as the order is in transit. Poor and disappointing communication! Maybe they felt they could do that since I already paid. What I was given was all of the egg rolls I ordered, half the potstickers, and the restaurant subbed in crab rangoon for the other half and said they added an extra 75. Since my order was needed ASAP at that point, it's not like I was going to turn it away or renegotiate. Everything was hot and fresh and crispy since it was all fried. Folks enjoyed it. However, I won't be returning here in the future.

$17 dollar green chicken curry portion with rice....

Really disappointed to say after eating here since 2021 I think we need to stop coming back. Portions have gotten steadily smaller and more expensive. I know costs are high with this administration but I'm sorry there's no way a Pad Thai, Curry and Crab Rangoons should cost $46.00?!?! It was a good ride for a while but I think it's time to look elsewhere.

Wanted to get a quick bite to eat before heading over to Trader Joe's. The service was very quick to get food. The ambiance of the restaurant was a pretty typical small sit down, the fans were a little loud. The food was OK, the spring rolls (kids ate too fast before i could snap a picture) were the best part of the meal. The squid Kao Soy was a little salty for my preference.

We ordered food for a larger group of people about 15. The recommended amount that each small tray fed was about 6-8 people. So we ordered 2 small trays and some appetizers. The portion was more than enough and the food was prepared and packaged so well. Sometimes when we do carryout for larger orders the food can be difficult to transport and you risk getting things all over your car, not the case here at Thai Inbox. Each small tray was plastic wrapped then foiled, placed in paper bag and then in another larger plastic bag to hold all the items. Pad siew- with beef, cooked well and not over cooked noodles, the beef though was a bit tough. Thai fried rice- this wasn't how I was expecting though it was tasty nonetheless. We got chicken in this Thai fried rice, the rice was more soft than normal. Personally I do like a drier fried rice. Egg rolls- crispy, nothing to write home about, would probably not order again. Chicken wings- tasty and well cooked, the sauce to go with it was sweet and salty. Crab ragoon- this was exactly as I expected and I enjoyed the crispy and creamy contrast.

We had a large gathering and needed substantial portions that were tasty for our guests. We went to Thai Inbox for a couple of half pans of Thai Fried Rice and Pad See Ew noodles. The order was ready by the time they told it was going to be. Perfectly packed with plastic wrap and foil, paper bag and plastic bag (almost guaranteed to not spill at all upon transport). The food was quite tasty, the Thai fried rice was full of flavor and the pad see ew was done nicely as well. The chicken and beef though were a tad dry, but with large orders like this, it's difficult to get it right. I'd definitely order from Thai inbox again, the staff was helpful and was accommodating to our request to make the food not spicy.

I got to try this out today! I have to say it was amazing! The service was hands down great! And the food quality. If anyone wants good quality food and service I would say give it a try!

Yummy Tom Ka Soup! We shared a pad see ewe and it was really good. I think the portions are small here tho.

Rude staff, my pad Thai was not good, was carryout, will not be going back. There are better places to get Thai food.

I used to love this place but now there is a minimum for carry out, I no longer go because, as a single person, I never reach the minimum.

They've really upped their game! The pad thai or chicken with broccoli & the inbox rolls are great. Consistently good food here.

Enjoyed our take-out: pad thai, pad kee mou, chicken satay, and panang curry. All dishes were good. The curry was exceptional.

Ordering was a breeze and the guys were always open to a conversation or giving suggestions. The restaurant was clean and the meal was always tasty. Just a note but the further away you move from any major city the fewer and harder it is to find great Asian food. The suburb is lucky to have them. The pandemic brought new staffing. Some were pleasant with customers though one lady, a supervisor had the wrong ideas of what customer service and proper etiquette is. Just the basics of my final visit. I took my family for lunch. We ordered lunch specials and a couple extra must-try plates. Two specials hit the table and the third was left waiting for her meal. Unbeknownst to us in the moment, her food was handed to a single patron there for his lunch. The place was filling up with a lunch rush but not so many that had complicated orders. Many were ordering similar lunch specials. Kung pao lunch special was popular. When her order finally arrived the supervisor realized she had given the wrong plate to the customer sitting some tables behind us. Mind you ten minutes had already passed. She quickly went over to him and asked what he had ordered. She then took the plate he was eating from and handed him the fresh plate. He was still holding a half eaten egg roll in his hand. Then she brought the quarter eaten plate and placed it in front of my mother. Before she could leave I stopped her and asked her what she was doing. She simply stated that was her lunch order. I told her she handed my mother someone else's food that they were eating and I watched the whole thing. Why didn't you take that to the back and make a completely new plate of food?! I paid the bill and got the F**k out. That's gross. Also, you gave the other patron new food but cannot do the same for our table?? This place is dead to me. If she could do that, it beckons the question of what else is happening behind the scenes.

The curry was flavorful, packed with veggies and chicken, and paired so nicely with the fluffy white rice. We also got the pad woon sen, and it had a nice wok hei flavor; the noodles were bouncy and paired well with the hot sauce on the table as well. Lastly, we got the mango sticky rice for dessert, and they give you SO MANY MANGOES. The rice was sweet, and you had enough mangoes to pair it with every single bite of rice. The service was good; they always made sure to check in on us and even brought us extra plates to let us share our dishes. The only con I have is that I asked for potatoes in my curry, but I didn't know it'd be a dollar extra. It's not a big deal, but I'd love to know when I ask. The ambiance was very Thai themed, and they had a lot of awards for their restaurant. It also caught my eye that they won a food bracket tournament with other restaurants I have heard of as well. There's also a large parking lot and lots of seats if you want to dine in. I also noticed a large amount of takeout orders, so you can tell this place is very popular.
