Amazing friendly service! Greeted as we walked in, even though it was during the lunch rush. There were several tables occupied so that was a good sign that this local spot was a good choice. We were only interested in take-out, as it was a quick stop on our roadtrip and they truly delivered a quick option. It took no more than 10 minutes to get our meal. Both, the Panang and Yellow curries were very flavorful and filling! We had plenty and were able to share the meals. They ask what your preference of spice is and we went with level 3, as it was our first time stopping here so didn't know how spicy they make their meals. Level 3 was actually perfect because we enjoyed a minimum spice and not overwhelming at all. The restaurant looked very clean and organized and we'll look forward to stopping in again any time we take this trip in the future.

Thai Jasmine is a wonderful family-owned and operated spot that we truly enjoy. The service is always quick, and you can tell the food is made fresh daily. Everything is full of flavor and loaded with delicious, fresh veggies. I ordered the Beef Pad See Ew and My boyfriend got the creamy garlic prawns, which were rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. And of course, we had to get Thai iced teas to go with our meals, always a must! Consistently great food, fast service, and a welcoming vibe. We'll definitely keep coming back

I've been here a couple of times for lunch when I'm in town for work. There's plenty of parking in the plaza. The restaurant has plenty of seating, though it might be a bit busy during lunchtime. I've heard great things about the avocado curry from my co-workers but have not tried it yet. Maybe next time when I'm there! I've tried the Tom Yum Soup, which hit the spot when I was sick, and the Pumpkin lamb was also delicious. The Thai iced tea was also great! Service was quick, attentive, and the owners were very friendly.

The flavors here were "different" like it lacked authentic Thai flavors. Still decent if you're in the area for some Thai food. I would definitely stay away from the calamari, it was chewy and didn't taste good.

So, my local friend wanted to take me to this Thai restaurant right down on the main street in downtown, if Carson has an actual downtown that is. We got parking right in front of the place on the main street. Inside is nice and elegant in a Thai kinda way. Nicer than a casual mom and pop Thai joint. We get seated at a nice table near the front. My friend already knows the menu, so I go with hos suggestion for the Lunch special Duck with sauce over rice. It's $22 bucks, so it better be good! He has the Thai battered salmon for around $19. Soup is included and it's just a veggie broth, though tasty. Then our lunch specials come out. Oh wow, that duck look really good. It's totally deboned, so no messing with bones at all. The sauce was super tasty. My friend said he thinks its some sort of duck juice reduction with other added stuff. Whatever, this was one of the most tasty duck dishes I've ever had. His salmon was unique, I never saw a dish like that made with salmon. The coating was very unique and crispy and the salmon not over cooked. Overall, I really liked this place. I think my crew is having lunch at one of the local casinos, I'd rather be here!

The bill came to $80 which I felt was kinda steep for 3 items, especially in Carson City. The restaurant is located on a street where there was very limited parking in front and all the rear parking is super dark so bring your night vision goggles. At least there's plenty of parking spots. When I walked in, I was surprised to see Caucasian staff members! Well I guess this isn't that different than Panda Express where you have hispanics in the front and the 1 token asian in the back cooking. I picked up my food and was pleasantly surprised to find the dishes were pretty loaded. I started dipping into my duck curry and OMG it was probably the best I've had. Not only was the flavor amazing and spiced just right, but there was a generous amount of duck! When I went to eat dim sum recently and ordered roast duck, I got a plate of duck that was mostly skin and bones. Here they actually de-boned the meat so you're getting nice chunks of flavorful, meaty duck along with fresh chunks of pineapple, tomatoes, and spices with that yummy curry over my caucasian rice (I like to be culturally sensitive). Even my wife that don't like duck really enjoyed this. So while $80 for 3 dishes may seem a bit high, it was worth it. I really enjoyed my meal here and my kids also ate all their noodles with enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

The service was ok, the serving size was filling but I guess their cook is allergic to salt, garlic or whenever seasoning they put in their dumplings. Maybe I got a bad batch from a cook who forgot to add seasoning. I ordered the Thai fried rice with chicken and neither the rice or the chicken had any seasoning or flavor. The rice seemed straight out of the steamer and the chicken cooked but again, absolutely no flavor. I asked for hoisin sauce to give it since flavor but I've never heard of Thai fried rice with no flavor (and I do mean NO flavor, not even salt). Bland is the only word I can think of. It was explained to be by the waiter that this is how Thai fried rice is made. My wife had pad se ew and it had flavor. I've had Thai fried rice in a number of other places and while the flavor varied, there at least was flavor. I can't say anything about the other dishes but don't order the Thai fried rice unless you want something with no taste or flavor. Service was ok, ambience urban, my food bland but my wife liked hers.

I adore thai food, so decided to try the remaining thai spot we hadn't gone to yet. I had no idea it was in Kung Pao Hustle. (We didn't care for that spot.) But the pickup transaction was nice and friendly. They even gave us a local discount of $4.80 which was much appreciated. We actually wanted to order 2-3 other things not listed above. When we called, we had looked at their website and picked a bunch of items from their Thai Specialty section. Unfortunately that section did not exists anymore which was a bummer. I adore super spicy, fishy, strong flavors all mixed together which that portion seemed to offer. I called to place the takeout order, so it was funny how the guy on the phone was like, "Are you looking at our website?!" I guess they hadn't updated it yet. The curry was a good amount. A little thinner than I would like, but if you like a milder curry, you might have enjoyed this. For me, it was waaay too mild for their top spice level. I actually found everything lacking in heat for their spiciest level. For the papaya salad, I wish they pounded / grinded everything together. The flavors didn't come together with just the mixing of the ingredients. It was better the next day tho. I do see they have a lao style papaya salad, so curiosity may have me trying this spot again. Decent thai food if you don't like super strong flavors. Tho this is probably my least fav thai spot out of the three we've been to in tahoe. Everything was just too mild for me. REVIEW #3933
