So we walked over to Tracy Thai.... Closed, dang. I looked it up and, My Thai Cuisine was the only Thai food place in town that was open before 5pm on a Friday! So, we wandered in and in so glad we did. We had a great time. The food was prompt and delicious, staff was friendly and kept our drinks topped off. We ordered the Pad Thai (beef) and the orange chicken with a side of thai egg rolls. The perfect amount of food for us, and everything was delicious. I'll say the beef was scarce in the pad Thai, and they didn't ask us about heat level (it had none.) I mainly take one star away because while the inside looks nice, it is not very comfortable seating. The bench seat across the wall is too deep so I couldn't rest my back on it, and the chairs were small so my husband felt like he was spilling over. We swapped seats and did a little better after that. Too small, too big. Lol Overall a good experience though, and we will definitely be back, especially considering they're actually open during the day!

On their yelp page before I came in, I thought they would serve the soup in a different type of dish but the presentation of it was just very simple.

Thai Jasmine in Tracy is hands down our favorite Thai restaurant, not only in our area but possibly in the entire Bay Area. We've got nothing but love for this place. Let's start with the prices - super reasonable, especially considering the generous portions you get. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. And the taste? Oh boy, it's like a flavor explosion in every dish. We've got our go-to's: the fresh rolls, the curries, the mouthwatering drunken noodles, the classic pad Thai, the flavorful chicken barbecue, and the refreshing salad gai. Seriously, we've tried it all, and we keep coming back for more. The cherry on top is the fantastic service. The servers are always on point, attentive, and friendly. Love Thai food and I really enjoyed the Tom Kha Gai - sweet and sour all in one soup. Service was very prompted and reasonable prices. Located in downtown Tracy on 10th makes it an easy choice to stop and have a meal. I will definitely return to Thai Jasmine. read more
