    Appetizer soup with lunch special

Service was fantastic. Our situation was a bit unusual as we had a very large group, (cloee to 30 people!) no reservations on an early-ish weekend day and were accommodated immediately. They easily kept track of everyone's orders, drinks and food came out in timely fashion. Most ordered yellow curry. Sauce was perfect thickness and filled with chicken, veggies and potatoes. The soup and salad appetizers were just enough. The Pad See Ew had the perfect bite and softness of the rice noodles, the right amount of sauce to meat, veg and egg. Thai ice coffee was a great way to finish the meal. Clever menu descriptions. I hear they have a great taco Tuesday, so hope to try that out sometime too.

Thai Juan On in San Juan Capistrano is a popular, trendy, and casual "hidden gem" known for its creative fusion-style Thai cuisine and lively full bar. Located in a strip mall off Del Obispo, it stands out for its high-energy atmosphere and playful, pun-filled menu.

Great ambience and service. Lunch menu is a good deal as the entree comes with soup and salad. I ordered the green curry with chicken and it was good but not great. My husband wasn't impressed with his crying tiger dish. The salad spring rolls appetizer were very bland. Not sure I'd return.

I love their food--it's always fresh and delicious. The service is warm, welcoming, and friendly. Whenever I go there, I always feel special. The server remembers what I usually order, which makes the experience even better. The atmosphere is wonderful--it's warm and inviting, filled with the delicious smell of food, and it's very kid-friendly. I would highly recommend it to all my family and friends.

I was sold on trying "Thai Juan On" simply by the name (cracked me up!) and definitely glad I did based on the food!! The service was quick and efficient, our waitress was very kind and attentive, and the food was delicious, especially with the addition of some heat (hot sauce/red pepper)! I tried the Panang Curry (chicken) and the Pad Thai (chicken) - both were very good and decent portions! The rice noodles were cooked really well as well as the rice that came with the curry. The waitress was very accommodating for our gluten-free table and we got a delicious broth/soup in Lieu of a wonton, which was excellent!! we arrived around 1:40pm with the restaurant closing at 2:30pm for their midday close it was very quiet Inside (we were the only table likely due to our time of arrival). * don't worry we were gone at 2:25pm!! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Came here this week for a To Go order. I have to agree with Teresa T.'s experience a few months ago. If you are a regular, then you feel the love. There was a family dining in and the hostess spent a lot of time chatting with them. If you are a first timer then prepare to feel like a loser. We live here in SJC and my husband travels a lot for work. So I've been exploring some places around our neighborhood solo. Mostly I order To Go since I'm not quite brave enough to eat alone yet. Some places are very kind when you order To Go and motion to a nearby empty table to wait, offer a water. This place I felt rushed to order "you don't know what you want?" It was a little dark and I couldn't read the menu without my readers so I just ordered some old favorites. After I paid, the sense was that I should leave and come back in 15 minutes. I asked if I could wait inside and sat on a bench near the front door. Food came out quickly and I headed home. Shrimp pad thai - pretty good Chicken Satay - also pretty good, comes with peanut sauce and cucumber relish Tom kha gai soup - a lot of chicken but missing the mushrooms and lemon grass Part of me wants to go back repeatedly and become a regular but the bigger part of me wants to find another Thai place where they are kind from the get go.

They're also introducing a late-night happy hour with food and live music, which is a great way to enjoy a sophisticated drink when most restaurants have closed in the area. The second part of the lounge is the two cigar lounges: the day lounge and the VIP lounge, which has lockers. Both lounges have high-end luxury seating and lots of screens for all your favorite sports. The staff keeps the lounges clean with friendly service. At the back, there's a walk-in humidor that's well-stocked with a great selection, including Davidoff, Padron, Opus X, Fuentes, My Father, Foundation, and Placencia, just to name a few. The Winston House stick blended by Placencia is an incredible stick for an exceptional price! Both lounges have a bunch of friendly regulars, so it's always easy to find conversation, or you can just relax and enjoy the moment! This place is a hidden gem that I consider to be the best cigar lounge in SoCal!

Honestly, there wasn't one bad outlier and all of us enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was attentive and efficient. I loved the food and casual atmosphere and will definitely return to try other menu items. We were seated upstairs and noticed that when we went downstairs to leave after finishing up dinner it was much cooler downstairs, which probably would have made for a more comfortable dining experience with the recent heatwave. Their house-made bread is a must-get to pair! Super fluffy and toasted to perfection. The Batata Harra Thousand Layered Potatoes were my personal favorite. The potatoes were sooo crispy and the sauce (made of labneh yogurt, chili, and lemon) that it came with had me licking up very last bit. Lastly, don't sleep on their Grilled Cabbage! It wasn't served cold enough, and the dill-heavy dressing created a funky flavor that overwhelmed what should have been a simple, crisp starter. The blistered green beans were another disappointment.
