We ordered a chicken Penang, duck curry and a pad see ew with chicken, both curries were delicious and came with a decent portion of rice, the pad see ew was ok, it did not keep well in the fridge as left overs, the noodles became too tough. As promised, I revisited Thai Kitchen again... completely set in my heart to improve my opinion. Unfortunately, I'm spending the weekend swamped with work so I had to order out instead of eating in as I would have preferred. Oh well. I ordered the veggie/tofu green curry as I planned because I thought I should have a standard dish to compare across all restaurants. I specified on the special instructions not to include fish/oyster sauce.... The restaurant called less than 3 minutes after I placed the order online to explain all or most of the curry dishes have fish sauce. It sucks, but at least they were diligent about it. Of course, I was too busy with work to want to look at the menu again and I basically just told the guy (manager? chef? whomever I was speaking with...) to pick something vegan and super spicy. So he suggested the krapow, which I think I had wanted to try last time before I was distracted by an neatly described (but ultimately underwhelming cashew dish.) Alright, I trust you bro! So, brought home my spread of krapow, Jasmine rice, and mango sticky rice for dessert because... come on. (Yeah, I was so full, I had to save dessert for close to midnight!) But back to the main course... Okay, I have to say, I don't know what krapow looks like when it's with meat, but with vegetables, it was a piping hot long after I picked it up, but the vegetables themselves were not overcooked--they were firm, fresh, and bright. The sauce itself was thin and light but still coated everything... in other words, I enjoyed eating a lot without feeling a full, heavy, gross feeling. It was decently spicy (thank you for the side of smoked peppers, too!) But I'm curious and I want to try whatever has 4 peppers on the menu! We were most excited (from all the great yelp photos) to try the Calamari and Duck Basil--the Calamari was crispy and the batter was perfectly light and golden. Finally, a Thai place near my house! I came here for the first time, by myself, for lunch. I immediately noticed the interior. It was nicely decorated, very clean. I love the subway tile on the wall as well as the chalkboard art. I ordered my typical chicken drunken noodles, mild. The lunch comes with a soup and spring roll. The soup was ok, but nothing I was very interested in. The spring roll was great. Fresh and not greasy. The drunken noodles were great! Though mild, they were still very flavorful. I was however, confused when I asked for them to be mild, why the server told me I could just order pad see ew. No . . . . I wanted drunken noodles. The next time I came, I had my husband with me. And yes, it was the next day. The heart wants what it wants . . . . I, once again, ordered the chicken drunken noodles and spring roll. This time, though, the drunken noodles were pretty bland. I put a little soy sauce over them and kept it moving. But I was disappointed. The third time I came, I was meeting a girlfriend for dinner. we ordered salads and they took what seemed like forever to come out. Then they did, but then, not 5 minutes later, our food was on the table. I hate that. We clearly had taken about 2 bites of salad and were not ready for the meal. So of course, by the time we finish our salad, our food is cold. This time, I'd ordered shrimp krapow. I thought it was odd that it didn't have any green beans in it. I've been eyeing this place for quite some time, and my brother and I love Thai so after a hard day of grocery shopping at Costco we decided to pop in. At first we wanted to order 3 dishes and take leftovers but couldn't decide between rice, noodles, apps, etc etc etc so we chose to get two dishes first- the Rama Longsong with chicken and a beef Pad see Ew. WOW. Huge plates came out piping hot. The rama longsong had an amazing peanut curry sauce to it that was just perfect with the rice, and the pad see ew had SO MUCH BEEF. They did not skimp at all! We were so full, we even had leftovers so we didn't get another dish, but the brother got a Thai Iced Coffee which was delectable. I was done eating after that, we called and they wanted to give us store credit or make a replacement. I discovered this restaurant through a friend. He said it was "the best Thai food he has ever eaten." Being an avid Thai eater, I took his opinion with a grain of salt. My friend was not wrong. The food was superb and authentic. We ordered the Chicken curry puff, Panang Curry w/ chicken, Pad Thai w/ beef, and the Fried Duck Basil. All these dishes came out less than 10 mins. This was my first time trying a chicken curry puff and i was pleasantly surprised. It was like a fried dumpling with a Thai twist. It was perfectly fried to a golden brown with tasty meat filling. The Panang curry w/ chicken had a very creamy and flavorful base that I embarrassingly drank afterwards because it was so tasty. My only crevice was that I wish there were more vegetables such as red bell peppers or potatoes. I have eaten well over ten Pad Thai dishes from other restaurants and this one reigns supreme for the flavor and price. The portions for this dish felt like double the portions you get at some Thai restaurants. The Fried Duck Basil was something I've never had before but I'm now in awe. Each piece of the fried duck was met with crunch and a good balance of meat. Lastly, the staff was very attentive and kind. The restaurant overall is very clean and incorporates a minimalistic design. With its very homey and comforting Thai food, I will definitely be back. read more

We walked over the other night to check it out and wow, the service was great, the place looked great, and the food was all amazing! I was supposed to trade half of my dish with my girlfriend however after my first bite, we renegotiated that deal.....( I lost the negotiations, but that is ok, I got to try her crispy duck... and...YUM! I was so stoked to see a Thai restaurant opening in this shopping center and it didn't disappoint! The decor was very cute, the music was soothing, and the service was wonderful. The beef drunken noodles packed enough heat and the beef krapow was also delicious. Pair them with some Thai iced coffee or Thai iced tea for that refreshing sweetness. If I had room for dessert I would have gotten some mango sticky rice but portions were enough to keep me satisfied. I'm so glad that Thai Kitchen is so near to me that I can walk there within 10 minutes and by car 1 minute. Penny(the server) brought us Thai custard with sticky rice and she said it's complimentary from either the owner or the manager(Kang) I don't remember which one. All were delicious! After that night, I've introduced to my other friends and they all loved the food. I know one of my friends already brought her family back to the restaurant to try it too and they loved it as well. Since then, I have eaten crispy duck salad(a little salty for me so I ate it with rice and it was just right), Tom Yum noodles soup(not sour enough for me but my friend likes it though), laad na or raad na noodles, pad see ew, banana egg rolls. Onto the service, they all are very attentive. The manager(Kang) made sure that the room temperature was right. The server always making sure if everything is alright. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Pineapple pork fried rice and both the food was sooooo BLAND and had no flavor. They messed up on my fried rice and gave me chicken instead of pork. They were steadily busy but we were seated right away. We ordered the lunch special and shared everything: pad thai, drunken noodles, ginger chicken, and pineapple fried rice. The pad thai was honestly the BEST I've had in this area and drunken noodle was on par. Unfortunately, the ginger dish lacked flavor and only a hint of ginger and the fried rice seemed like it was just stir fried and then put pineapple on top rather than incorporated in the dish. Ordered a few things for pick up, everything was flavorful and good. Added on some Thai iced tea which was not too bad. This place is probably at least in the top three Thai places I have had so far, based on flavor. Price is the same as a lot of other Thai places. We got pick up which was easy, my friend ended up getting it for us and the food was ready on time and still warm when it got back to the house. The only sad thing was I did not see the option to order Thai iced tea when I chose the delivery option, and I ALWAYS have to get Thai iced tea when I order Thai! I definitely recommend this place if you're in a pinch and need good Thai food.
