My husband and I came for a midweek date night. We loved our experience. Very friendly owners and servers! The food was so yummy that I totally forgot to take pictures. We started off with some iced tea and egg rolls which were both really good. My husband and I shared an order of the Tom Yum Beef Soup and Pad Thai, which was enough for the both of us. Friendly couple nice inside had high hopes but....... Spent $60 trying a few things on the menu. Got 2 orders of the pad see ew, "BBQ chicken", chicken satay and the prawn wraps. Noodles were dry and had no flavor, wife had to re cook with our own seasonings. Chicken satay had a chewy texture and I couldn't eat them. Now the $14 "BBQ Chicken".... It was a thin filet piece of grilled not seasoned chicken not even a whole breast. But it was nicely laid atop broccoli and cabbage. Had my fingers crossed but didn't workout. Went there today with my 2 sons and brought leftovers to my hubby. We all really enjoyed everything. One son got the red curry chicken. He liked it enough to clean his plate! I tried the sauce and enjoyed it! I got the rice with pineapple, cashews and raisins (can't remember the name) and it was one of the best rice dishes I've had. My other son ordered the Pad Thai. He didn't love it but I thought it was great (he's never had Thai food before so it's not his thing - he enjoyed our other dishes). The spring rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce was yummy, although a bit too thick for what I like. My husband had no problem devouring our leftovers and is already talking about going back. I was craving some pad Thai last night and decided to give the place a chance. Relatively new restaurant in the shopping plaza near Home Depot. I called in my order and the girl who took it was very sweet and attentive, she made sure she had my order right and made sure each dish had a correct spice level listed. I waited about 15 minutes before leaving my house to allow cooking time and to my surprise I received a phone call from the restaurant letting me know my order was ready which I thought was extremely nice as most places just let you show up and see if it's ready or not. The space itself was clean, bright and welcoming. The ladies at the front counter who rung me up were very sweet and cheerful. We got 2 pad Thai, one shrimp and one chicken, and a Thai fried rice with beef. All were very flavorful and exactly what we were craving. Their menu also includes Lao dishes and I look forward to trying those soon! Very happy to have a solid Thai/Lao place nearby!! read more

I don't live in Hercules anymore but was in town visiting my parents who do live there. I wanted to try something different than normal Chinese take-out, and had driven past this place and thought to try it. I am usually a fan of Thai and Lao food. I got the drunken noodles with as much spice as they would add with chicken. Drunken noodles are normally pretty moist, and mine was pretty dry, though the flavors of dish were good and were expected. The spice level was a bit weak for what I'm used to in most restaurants where if I order a "Thai spicy dish", I have to eat slowly to not upset my GI tract. The chicken was slightly overcooked. My dad ordered pad thai with beef. That was an unfortunate decision as the served beef was almost as dry as beef jerky. The beef did not seem seasoned and the pad thai noodles clumped together into rice balls. I'd probably eat here in a pinch as it wasn't terrible, but it would be far from my first choice until some of these technical challenges are resolved. read more

This place was terrible in my opinion. I usually go to Thai Spice but thought I would try something different tonight. It was a huge mistake. I ordered the Prawn Rolls which were wrapped in a wonton and fried. I noticed when I was eating them they were mushy after about three rolls. I peeled apart the breading and noticed that the shrimp was almost completely raw. The rest of my food was completely bland and flavorless. We ordered fried rice with shrimp but it had no shrimp at all. When I called the restaurant and spoke to the owner, he accused me of lying about the shrimp being raw. He also refused to give me a refund on any of my food unless I brought the food back. He continued to accuse me of lying. Unfortunately, the only way I could bring back the raw shrimp was if I vomited it up, which may happen later on tonight. I told him that I would be contacting the Board of Health on Monday because he refused to recognize the seriousness of serving a customer raw food. My only request for him was to refund my money and he refused. They were completely rude to me, never apologized and made me out to be a bad person for complaining. read more

This is one of the newest restaurants to grace the city of Hercules. It is tucked away in the corner of the strip mall near Home Depot. The interior is small but not cramped. The walls have many Thailand related art and sayings. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the red curry with chicken. It comes with steamed rice. Popped into the establishment and ordered the green curry with seafood, the panang curry with pork, and the pad thai with chicken. The panang was spice forward which made a pleasant contrast with the coconut milk in the curry sauce. The green curry was a bit more tame in comparison, but the bamboo shoots add a nice crunchy texture. The pad thai was interesting. It had a subtle roasted flavor, almost like a wok-hay.
