I had no idea this restaurant was located next to the train station. We called to place a carry out order, the wait was 20 minutes. Staff was friendly. I had the pad see ew with chicken (soy sauce, broccoli, noodles). I really enjoyed it! I will definitely get this again! My husband had the pad Thai, he also liked his meal. Both meals are good for people who don't like spicy food or children. Prices were very reasonable and portions were good.

Drunken noodles with Tofu

We were craving Thai food and my husband LOVESS the drunken noodles so we decided to get dinner here. Unfortunately, there is no indoor seating given Covid and lack of workers :( (which is very unfortunate because this place would definitely be PACKEDDDD). We ordered for pick up and waited outside for our food, which was ready within 20 mins of ordering. Also, the parking lot was SUPERR packed which was enough to tell us that this place is absolutely amazing! We got the drunken noodles, medium spicy, with tofu and it was so so delicious! They had a large variety of vegetable inside and the tofu was very well seasoned and cooked. The noodles had the PERFECTTTT texture that you think of when you're craving drunken noodles!! It also had egg which just added to the variety of flavors!! Definitely one of the best drunken noodles in the area!! Would highly recommend!

Drunken noodles with shrimp

Got take out Ordered drunken noodles with shrimp - good flavor but too dry for my taste, shrimp cooked perfectly, loved all the veggies Spring rolls- I was expecting a thing rice paper but got more of a soft rice crepe, it wasn't something I rly enjoyed so my reason for the 4 start Spicy tofu- really surprised at how good this dish is, I wouldn't consider it spicy but still sweet. The tofu was cooked rly nicely, it had a crust from being pan fried but still was soft on the inside. Loved all the bell peppers and onions in this dish Panang curry - rly nice, more dilute broth than I'm used to but the flavor was there. Again loved the veggies but the rice that came with it might have been a bit over cooked with too much water Friend banana and coconut ice cream was also great Overall enjoyed the meal and I would recommend getting these items

My stomach has spoken and spoken with much excitement. I was in town for business and I wanted something other than a burger. Thai food has always been a winner but quality has been sketchy around Boling Brook, Naperville and Lisle so I tend to shy away when I'm in town. This night was different in both experience and food quality. When I showed up, I waited about two minutes before I was seated. I was quickly shown my table by the window where I had a view of a couple TVs. Since it was getting close to 8pm, I quickly decided on Thai dumplings and drunken noodles with beef (medium spice). I would most likely pass on the dumplings as they tasted like they came from a frozen package and overcooked. It was neither good nor bad, just there. The drunken noodles on the other hand were amazing. If you want to talk about love at first bite, their main entrees are an excellent proving ground for this. Spice at just the right heat level. Flavor that makes angels sing and play their trumpets. Presentation that says "Welcome to Thailand. Please enjoy your meal." All this along with the attentive service left me so happy! I took the fried banana coconut ice cream back to the hotel since it was getting close to closing time. It was still amazing after the ten minute drive back. On a quick side note, your GPS software will have you turn right at a building. If you circle the building and make a total of 3 immediate right turns, it'll put you in front of the restaurant. Come here for lunch or bring a date. This is a great place and the only Thai place I will recommend in the immediate area for Thai food!

Seared sea scallops in panang curry sauce

This place is conveniently located to downtown Naperville (by the train station) and yet somehow I had never gone. So a friend and I rectified that one evening recently! It was one of the incredibly cold nights we've been having lately so the place was fairly empty but they seemed to be doing a decent takeout business (perhaps people coming in on the train picking up something before heading home?) In any case, we were seated in the front room alone. The place is understated and stylish in decor. We started our meal with crab rangoon, delicious little pockets of crab and cream cheese with a sweet and sour type sauce. I always judge a restaurant based on this appetizer if they serve it, and these definitely passed the test. For dinner I ordered sea scallops in panang curry sauce. Tasty, but there were only five scallops which for dinner seems a bit sparse. The curry sauce was delicious but slightly marred by the tiny. plasticky strips of something (Thai basil?) that abundantly garnished this dish. My friend has the Massamon curry and was apparently satisfied. Service was friendly and our glasses were never empty of water for long! Nice little location to remember just north of downtown.

In an effort to continue supporting small, local businesses (and save my wife from having to cook), I ordered takeout from Thai Medallion. I ordered drunken noodles with shrimp. I was able to pay over the phone, including tip. When I arrived, I called them and a worker brought the food out to my car. He was wearing a mask, too, so nice job on touchless service. As for the dish, it tasted good, but...we paid a $3 upcharge for shrimp and there were literally only four shrimp in the entire entree. My wife and I were sharing this, and only this, for dinner after a long day of fasting, and had to split the shrimp two and two. Oh well.

Pad Thai & Drunken Noodle
Javi S.

Pad Thai was on the sweeter side, hardly much tang that you'd usually expect. Drunken noodle was decent, good savory & sweet flavor. A lot of food for a reasonable price.

Chicken fried rice take out - perfect temperature, good balance of veggies and eggs. 10/10 recommend.

The staff was very considerate with my allergies, they communicated clearly about how long my order would take and went above and beyond. Oh, and the food is absolutely delicious! A must-stop for anyone in Naperville!

Heavy on the sugar! So disappointed at the sharp decline in quality. No Thai spice but noodles drenched in sugary sweetness. Blah!

She seated us, gave us water and came back 15 minutes later. No visible staff in the dining room. She took our appetizer order and dinner order. The spring rolls were like leather. Terrible. There was no staff in the crowded dining room for 15 minutes at a time. There was one woman doing all of the service and one young woman who would come to take empty plates. She never returned to the table to offer a second drink or fill our water glasses. So we only got one drink through the whole hour and a half we were there. And we had empty water glasses the whole time. They did not bring the soup we ordered stating it was not on the order. Dinner took forever. No servers in sight. When we finally got our meal, it was tasty. One person cannot run an entire dining room. And be missing the most of the time. I suggest carry out for this place. Service was terrible.

We were very excited to try the food, but it turned out to be average at best. We ordered the Tom Kha soup and two lunch specials: Pad Thai with pot stickers, and basil chicken with a vegetable egg roll. The soup was decent, though it was a bit overpowered by the fish sauce. The spring rolls and pot stickers were great, however, and the service was quick.

Very casual spot where you seat yourself in the restaurant of about 9-10 tables. We were waiting on quickly and the food looked great once but came out . I ordered the mango chicken as I've never seen on menu before and was not disappointed. Crispy and saucy which is exactly how I like it . Sauce flavor was a delight and it came with white rice which i upgraded to fried rice . Hubby got crab pad Thai and he really enjoyed it. He was pleased that it was real crab as well. He did ask for chili as he likes to add spice to everything. The appetizer crab Rangoon was on point as well and then we finished with mango sticky rice . My favorite dessert when available which was a tasty ending to a great meal. I'd definitely go back to try more dishes .

Chopsticks Noodle & Thai Cafe is in an unassuming location in a strip mall. Here the major difference is it's not some order at the counter type of place. There's a pretty big menu of meaty and vegetarian friendly choices with varying levels of spiciness. A not quite fancy restaurant but better than the others around here with this type of cuisine. It's got enough room for plenty of booths and tables. The menu features a lot of the typical favorites like noodles, rice, and whatever. A lot of the entrees have a choice of protein. They of course have beef and chicken, but also tofu. It's about $12 for an entree. We got some of the choices for vegetarians. I got the Cashew Stir-Fried. This had carrots, onions, peas, peppers, and pineapple, and the choice of protein was tofu. Good spiciness without being burning ass hot. The rest of the menu has a pretty good variety of things. Certainly could get lunch from here again. It's located on Route 59 at Ogden. There's plenty of choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

I'd rate it on par, or even better, than San Francisco's Burmese options. Service was much friendlier here, that's for sure! Tawk was a delightful host...making jokes along with dish recommendations. Sadly, we gobbled up the food before I remembered to take photos. D'oh! I highly recommend the Tea Leaf salad--a Burmese staple and a real treat if you haven't had it before. Very flavorful and just a hint of spice (don't eat the sliced peppers if you're spice-adverse, but we devoured them). We also had Shan Noodles (B8). I also recommend that. A mild to medium spice level and very tasty. Generous portions. Two dishes was enough for two though I wish we had tried the spring rolls or samosas too--we might have had leftovers if we had! The restaurant itself is inviting and clean. They did a good job considering the location in a strip mall. The lighting looks nice, and the textured walls add to the inviting ambience.
