Looking at the older reviews, it seems that they may have had some problems years ago, but I've had this three times in the last three weeks and it's insanely good. That said, I will warn you that I order stuff "Thai Hot", which is the level past hot and it's serious stuff, but so good. The crab rangoon isn't the best you'll ever have, but still OK. Other than that, this is the best Thai I've had in over 30 years in the Chicagoland area, including many, many tries in the city. Top notch. Ordering again tonight. :) read more

I brought my mom out for lunch and we really enjoyed this place. We arrived just after the lunch crowd about 1:30 on a Sunday so it was not very crowded. The elderly gentleman who helped us was very pleasant and helpful offering us a few table options to accommodate my mother's walker. The place was decorated nicely and it looked clean, even in the bathroom. We ordered the veggie rolls to start and there were 4 cut in half, plenty for 3 adults to share. Mom ordered the garlic sauce dish, there was plenty for her to eat. I tried it and it was not spicy but had a good flavor. My Red Pad Thai was hugh, it will be 2-3 meals for me. It had a little spice but not over done, I would order it again. My lady ordered the fried rice and again that will be 2-3 meals for her or me. The fried rice was nothing special, more on the plain side with little flavor, I was told my homemade was better and I don't do anything special to mine. For only $1 more we added chicken and we were given plenty, they sure did not skimp on the protein! Very good prices for what you get and we were happy with our orders. Tasty and authentic Thai cuisine. I typically get the Pad See Ewe and the Crazy noodles with a little spice. Their spice consists of fresh Thai peppers chopped up and oh is it Hot! They don't have their soda machines anymore, but they sell cans, along with Thai iced coffee which is always a winner. It's also a pretty large glass too. We order takeout from Yum Yum Thai at least once a month and occasionally dine in. Admittedly, the dine in experience could be better, but it's clearly a family owned business and everyone wears a lot of hats. The owner always remembers us and is super friendly, so we just take it for what it is! The food is consistently good and when we order to-go it is piping hot. I always get the chili sauce with chicken (it comes with mixed vegetables). The sauce is spicy sweet and exactly what I want. My husband gets the Thai crazy noodles with beef. We ordered pick-up from this restaurant - we are somewhat newer to Naperville and are still looking to find a new Thai place we enjoy. I see some mixed reviews on the place, and on the night we ordered, seems like it was mediocre. I do understand many places may be short-staffed/training new people, so I'm definitely willing to give it another try. The good: the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and kind. They also provide large portions that you can probably make into two meals if desired. The okay: We orded red chicken curry and chicken pad thai. The Red curry had plenty of vegetables which was a plus but the chicken didn't really have flavor and was very chewy. Same with the pad thai, there wasn't much flavor and the chicken tasted rubbery/chewy and noodles were a bit stiff. I would say don't knock this place completely til you give it a try yourself. I've found that there isn't a huge selection of thai food in the area, so I'm hoping to update this next time we try it! read more

I took a lot home for leftovers which I was happy with. My dad had one of their shrimp dishes. He liked it but said that it would be much better if he had asked for some spice in it. I just love love love this place! By now we visited it 4 times and every visit makes me just so happy! Delicious food! Like DELICIOUS!!!! Seriously so so good. Our go to is tom kha soup and pad Thai! Yummy!!! Also good prices for huge portions!!! One soup and one pad Thai feeds 3 people!!! Even our toddler who's very picky with food eats here very well every time we come. This place was very different from the other hot pots me and my husband have been to. First, everything for the hot pot was ala cart. That is fine for us. Prices were good and the bill still ended up being the same amount as other hot pots. But ordering less next time because the portions are really good. We had white and mushroom broth. White was really good. The mushroom on was good but definitely want to try the tomato next time. Also, this is the only hot pot I have been to that had the ability to make your own sause.
