I ordered the Beef Panang curry with a spice level of 3/4. The beef was almost like shoe leather - they did not velvet the beef, and it was tasteless. The curry was not spicy enough - almost like mother's milk. The lack of spice could have been a simple error; the toughness and bland beef was not. Very clean small place in strip mall. Plenty of parking. The 2 waitresses were fantastic. Food was also great. Lad Na was very good with nice broth. Seafood was delicious. The food is very good, medium spicy is mild, relative to Thailand. The green and red curry are good with a secondary notes that is different to other east coast Thai restaurants. I've been a Yelper for years, and I've never seen a restaurant get ALL 5 star reviews before. Now I understand why. Although it wasn't perfect (a slight mistake on the order but I had asked an involved question so understand the confusion), it was so close that a 4 rating would be an insult. Unfortunately I can't offer much more than agree with previous reviewer's statements like 'best Thai food' or 'best Pad Thai I've ever had' or 'made with love' - all true, but somehow not enough. This was simply the most enjoyable meal I've had in recent memory. Very pleasant-looking place too with about 10 4- seat tables (although the metal chairs are hard on the butt), and sweet, masked servers. Meeting a friend for lunch, we started with iced coffees and then ordered several apps to check out all the flavors, and both had shrimp pad thai for entrees. She was ravenously hungry while I had a slightly upset tummy going in, so after filling up on apps, I took my pad thai to go (non-plastic environmentally conscious container much appreciated!) while she cleaned her plate while I was briefly in the restroom. The fried foods- curry puffs (2), firecracker shrimp (3), and crispy spring rolls (3) -were all delightfully light and crispy, and the cucumber salad on the side was divine (and I'm not normally crazy about cukes.) The duck rolls were my favorite, although the ground (not sliced) texture surprised me, served almost Peking Duck style with a small flatbread (cut in half) and accompanied with hoisin sauce and bean spouts and spring onions. Yum is all I can say - this was a momentary conversation-killer for sure, but I might have let out a 'wow'. The pad thai was prepared with very thin angel hair rice noodles instead of the usual more toothsome spaghetti or lo mein sized ones, but it was both cooked and sauced perfectly (tamarind being one of my favorite flavors.) I normally prefer more bean sprouts and onions in mine (and not the small bits of Chinese pork) but I'm sure they would accommodate any requests, and the sauce is the most critical part IMO, and they hit that out of the park. Actually I know what I'm getting next time already - isn't that the sign of a great restaurant, when you can't wait to go back? The bill was $72 for all this, which we split leaving $50 each, with a generous well-deserved tip. I'm retired and not well-off, but it was worth every penny, would do it again in a heartbeat. read more

It is all ways great. I have the Tom yum soup with shrimp and the shrimp are large and cooked perfectly.

Service has always been polite and helpful, and the food has been consistently prepared well in all of my visits. For appetizers, the Duck Rolls are absolutely wonderful - savory and a little sweet in a delicious roti wrap. The Firecracker Shrimp are also a favorite to order. If you're in the mood for soup, the Tom Kha and Tom Yum are very hearty and appetizing. The Pad Kee Mao is very good and their spice is no joke if you enjoy some heat! For a less spicy alternative, the Pad See Ew is also quite good. Great Thai spot with delicious food and great service. We ordered a few items from the Happy Hour menu which is from 4:30-6:30 Mon thru Fri. The Spring Rolls and Firecracker Shrimp were delicious! We could have eaten a few more orders but there were more foods we wanted to try. We decided to do the Salmon Ceviche. I've had salmon ceviche plenty of times and I must admit, this was very different, probably bc I think there was fish sauce in it. Now, my husband and I loved it but if you're not a fan of fish sauce in your ceviche, you might want to skip this appetizer. For our entrée, we shared the Ginger Duck and Spicy Papaya Salad with sticky and plain white rice while our kids had Pad Thai with chicken. For dessert we had the mango with sticky rice and Jackfruit/ coconut ice cream. Everything was amazing and I do not want to leave out the impeccable service. Everyone was friendly and attentive. It's so hard to find an authentic Thai restaurant around the area and Thaimeric is definitely one. Everything I ate was bomb and I could tell that the food was made with love. Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Especially in Frederick. My good friend owns several Thai restaurants in the D.C. Metropolitan area so the bar is high when it comes to authentic Thai cuisine. This place knocked it out of the park. Easy order via phone. Delivery was fast.
