I was well over 10 min early and they were kind enough to have a room ready right away that I could relax in. This was my first time here so I decided on the combo massage. She was a sweet lady who asked me what pressure i liked and if I had any places with pain or focus areas. She continually would ask me if I was okay. OWNER IS EXTREMELY RUDE, CONDESCENDING AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! I booked my very first massage ever and had it was scheduled for today at 11:15am. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected EMERGENCY. And called to cancel as soon as I found out at 9:30am. First of all the way this man answered the phone was just "hello?" Didn't say "thank you for calling Thai moon spa" just answers like its his personal cell. And after I said I was calling to cancel he let out a dramatic sigh like he was so annoyed with me. Hes like "YOU'RE CALLING TO CANCEL NOW?!!" And then says "fine you're canceled!" And just hangs up on me!!!!!! Doesn't give me a chance to respond or reschedule. So I immediately call back and after ringing and ringing he finally answers again and this time actually says "thank you for calling Thai moon spa." And im like "sir are you the owner did you just hang up on me like that?" And he screams at me "YEA YOU'RE REALLY CALLING TO CANCEL NOW!!" And as I'm trying to speak and explain why I canceled and needed to reschedule he again abruptly puts me on hold without notice or saying anything I guess hoping Id hang up myself this time. I am so appalled by his childish and embarrassing behavior for an owner. It's like he's throwing a tantrum. At least I had the decency to call and cancel instead of now showing up!!! EMERGENCIES HAPPEN!!! Cancellations happen! The way this owner handled this phone call is shocking and disgusting!!!! I cannot believe he runs a business like this!! Is this how he treats all cancellations???? Does he not realize emergencies happen??? Terrible, and extremely unprofessional. I haven't been treated this poorly by a business in YEARS. I can only imagine how he treats his employees! And Mark I'm not lying! You are!!! You did not answer the phone thai moon spa the first time!!! You immediately answered hello!!!! Only the second time I called did you actually say thai moon spa!!!! And don't try to blame it on being busy bc you weren't even open!!! LOL The situation happened exactly as I described it! And when I called back you screamed at me and put me on hold when I tried to speak!!!!! But you aren't going to admit your wrong clearly! I have been searching for a good massage place foe a while and haven't been impressed. This place has exceeded my expectations and I'm hooked. I've had two massages here and the best massage experience ever! Both Girls were great. They really focused on the problematic areas that I pointed out. I'm so glad That I've finally found my fav massage spot. Girls here are super nice and accommodating. My neck and shoulders are not as tight anymore. I always request from medium to strong and girls are unbelievably strong here. I got the Sweedish and deep tissue massage with hot stones 60mins for $70. This was my second time at Thai Moon Spa. I called ahead to see if they accept walk-ins, but I ended up scheduling an appointment for a 60 minute massage, and I was randomly paired with Nancy. They were running a little bit behind (only about 5-10 minutes) due to other massages, but I didn't mind waiting since the waiting room was clean and soothing. After I got into the massage room, I was able to see my surroundings as there was some dim lighting on and able to put my stuff in a basket. Nancy got to work straight away and apologized for the delay, but I didn't mind at all. Nancy asked what I would like worked on, and she made sure to pay extra attention to the requested areas and told me to alert her if I feel any pain. This was the best massage I've ever gotten (and I've been to at least 3-4 different spas before this), but it is not for the weak! Nancy is very strong and helped get all my knots out by walking on my back, using her arms/hands/etc, and stretching me out in many ways I didn't know were possible. I feel so refreshed after my massage and the massage oils had pleasant scents that were not too overwhelming. I highly recommend Nancy and Thai Moon Spa overall! I will definitely be returning for future massages. Payment- they accept major credit cards (3.5% fee), Apple Pay, cash, and surprisingly Venmo. Super convenient! Unfortunately I was EXTREMELY unhappy with this massage due to the fact that I was told I was able to get a 2 hr massage and then my massage was cut to 49 min. There needs to be better communication between the staff. Also, if a customer specified that the massage is painful, then the therapist should lighten up the pressure. Had high hopes for this establishment. Definitely will take my business elsewhere. Beware of Terry; if you are a new client she will try to shorten your massage time (especially if she has a regular client waiting), and also will continuously walk out of the room during the massage and leave the door open (which is not only bad manners but also in bad taste). Jada is really good. I came with a messed up upper back from working too much + tightness from working out. I had major knots all along my scapula. Jada really was able to get in there and help release some tension. I was in a lot of pain and felt some relief after leaving. I have finally found an amazing masseuse. Sara is hands down one of the best massage therapists I have ever been to. I woke up with neck and shoulder pain today, and after an hour deep tissue session my pain is gone. I've been dealing with this pain on and off for many, many years and Sara is one of the few masseuses that was able to get rid of the pain completely. The body requires maintenance - stretching, foam rolling, etc. - but sometimes that stuff just isnt enough for someone who does strenuous activities daily. We had a 60 min deep tissue, and they go deeeeep into your knots (in a good way). But Sara was so kind and checked in continually to make sure her pressure was appropriate for me and that I was comfortable. Yaya was also perfect, and my boyfriend's back felt 1000x better when she finished. The ambiance of the couple's massage room is also great; it was so relaxing he was snoring 30 minutes in. There is a 3.5% added fee for cards, so bring cash or Venmo. I have tried a few places in Irvine and never had a good experience. I was skeptical to get a massage, but I woke up with excruciating lower back pain and needed a little TLC. I yelped massage places with cupping in Irvine and read the reviews and found Thai Moon Spa. I made an appointment for deep tissue massage and cupping. Jada was my therapist, she asked me what areas I wanted her to focus on and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The place was nice and clean and practice Covid safety (temperature check and hand washing,etc). I am so glad I gave Thai Moon Spa a shot.
