I will start by saying food is delicious. Unfortunately the last couple times I've ordered the Crispy seafood paradise we have received less food than before. The first times I ordered seafood the container was filled. This is what we got today. Each piece was much smaller than before and the amount served was definitely not what has been served in the past. In the past the container was filled and the sauce has been place outside of the container. I guess this time, since they gave so little they placed it inside the container in attempts to make it look fuller? We used to frequent this restaurant when it was owned by Kia and his family. Unfortunately, the quality and flavor of the food are just not the same. We just ordered the Pad Thai and it was not tasty at all and the noodles were very sticky and packed down so they stuck together in clumps. I got the pad phet pla an a Thai iced tea. Food came out pretty quick, the fish in the pad phet pla was very soft like almost mushy almost so i'm guessing that it's frozen fish or they just microwave it, it's supposed to be a little crunchy i'm guessing. Superb customer service along with amazingly seasoned food. Ordered: 1. Drunken Noodles - Great flavor, heat, and noodly consistency 2. Pad Prik Khing - Green beans absorbed the flavor of the sauce very well and the beef was very flavorful. 3. Sweet Rice with Mango Disclaimer: not usually a fan of desserts but the lady wanted this. - I'm not sure how they did this but the rice soaked the sweetness of whatever sauce they used and it paired perfectly with the mango. Tonight however, I had Massaman Curry. Let me say, I am not a fan of curry mainly because it makes me choke. . Too spicy for me, but this dish was unbelievable. It has hints of curry and coconut and other flavors together with shrimp that were just incredibly savory. It's a must try. Genuinely. I'm also a huge fan of their pepper steak as well as the garlic beef. I'm practically addicted to them. All the dishes I've had thus far have a common element, the sauce. I'm thinking the secret is in the sauce. If you've not been, it is definitely worth your while. I do not think you will be disappointed. I went today for lunch as a recommendation from my colleague and the food is delicious . I had seafood ka pow and it was great. I'm bias because I love Thai and this was flavorful. I just wish they put more seafood in my order. I ordered seafood fried rice to go and I look forward to eating today. I'd potentially return for lunch because their lunch special is great - $8.50 for soup and an entree, $8.95 for soup, an entree, and a drink - but I've had better Thai elsewhere. I ordered: Panang Curry with wonton soup The soup was just fine, and the curry had good flavor but lacked the veggies I'm used to having with it (onions, carrots, etc). There was some tender crisp broccoli and carrot on the side, but otherwise is entirely chicken. Also, they served it on a plate, which perplexed me and made it more difficult to eat than I'd have liked. Cute little place. I came here for lunch. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai. The lunch was very cheap. For 8.50 you get soup, tea, and your entree. My Pad Thai was on the sweeter side. I asked for Thai Hot. It was no where near even a little hot. The rice noodles and Tofu were great. Portion size was perfect. Service was very good. They were very nice. Quick with my order. Thai NaKorn is a small Thai restaurant located off of Cooper Road. The menu offers a variety of items, such as various appetizers (tod mun, goong tod, fried squid, etc.), soups, salads, noodle and rice dishes, curries, entree selections (pad pirik king, pad kratiem prig Thai, etc.), chef specialties, and desserts. The hubs and I came here for a later dinner, and we ordered: an appetizer sampler (this came with Goong Tod (fried shrimp wrapped in a crisp wonton - these were super crispy and great with the light sweet & sour sauce), fried wontons (filled with minced chicken), and Crispy Spring Rolls (super crisp and yummy with the sweet & sour sauce)), SP8 Massamun Curry (you can choose chicken, beef, or pork as your meat; we opted for chicken in the massamun curry, which was filled with potatoes, onion, and whole peanuts - this curry was interesting, as it had a sour taste to it; the curry itself was still flavorful; the hubs wasn't a fan of this, but I thought it was okay), and the Pad See Ewe (we opted for the chicken as the meat; I loved how you can also substitute broccoli for Chinese broccoli, which we did; this pad see ewe was a delicious dish, as the noodles were perfectly stir-fried to a nice al dente; it also was a lighter dish, as it wasn't overly greasy). Needed a place to eat before continuing a drive for work (from Southern Virginia to Southern Maryland. We only stopped by for a quick dinner because one of the coworkers I had to pick up lived nearby. I was hoping for some legit drunken noodles but the taste was a little off for me. They used the right noodles at least (can't say the same for any Thai restaurant in Southern Virginia that I've tried so far. I am comparing this place to Rice & Spice which is another well-known Thai place in the area with similar prices. This place IMO has some dishes that are way better. For example the Penang Chicken Curry is a steal with how much meat you get. You get at least 2x as much meat as the same dish at Rice & Spice. Their lunch setup is also great for the price. For about $10 you get your choice of drink (water, tea, soda), a salad or soup, and your meal. That is pretty good. Here they also give you the option for extra meat for a $1 more. Overall, both places have their strengths and weaknesses. NaKorn is located on Route 1 in a crummy shopping center. Rice & Spice is located in a newer shopping center. The soups at Rice & Spice are better but the curry at NaKorn wins hands down. This is where you go for lunch! Not McDonald's which is located nearby! read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Please avoid at all costs. Only available for carry out and delivery. So called manager David is not customer service oriented or friendly. I had been a patron of this place for over 10 years. I have eaten my last meal . My rice was old, sticky and like mush. I called to talk to a manager and complained. Because I went out of the country, the manager said there's neither he can do. Since there's nothing he can do, I can spend my money elsewhere. I rather pay the $40-$50 amount to Uber eats and have my food delivered by a quality Thai place. I guess when this place changed management, they changed cooks . I rather spend my money where it is appreciated. It is very disappointing and very upsetting that as a loyal customer got the short end of the stick and treated like who cares if you come back or not. Will also post my feedback to other food service reviews. I am also contacting the Better Business Bureau. read more
